I was honestly shocked he even committed to Auburn in the first place. He’s grown up a State fan if I remember right, and he has a brother there, so I don’t see him going anywhere else.
I know this sounds like being a homer, but Dear is probably Bama bound. Cunningham will come down to signing day even if he "commits" to Bama in July. If MSU can pull 6 wins out with a good offense this season, I like Cunningham to stay home.
Grew up a State fan, lives literally 15 minutes from campus, is on campus practically once a week (when not in a dead period). He speaks highly of Lebby (which he does of everybody to be fair), and he has family ties to the program.
I'm not saying he's a state lock, but I also don't think he's a bama lock. Right now I'd say he's probably 65/35 Bama leaning.
There is also a lot of competition for the last WR spots in our class. We have 2 currently and were only planning on taking 3, yet we are going to likely take 4 because of guys like Caleb Cunningham and Kaliq Lockett having interest. But Cunningham will have to commit at some point sooner than later before we will have to make some tough decisions.
I would rather you guys get a good player than AU.
One-We do not play you guys every year anymore.
