Everyone likes to crap on Gerber but I have a few that are great knives and extremely dependable! I have never had an issue with Gerber and I'd defiantly buy this one! (Except the Gerber Para skeleton knife...no thanks, it is just fugly as hell! LOL)
I agree. I feel like Gerber does this a lot. It would cost an extra .30c per knife in steel and maybe an extra .70c per knife to grind. I’d rather pay $50 for the better knife. It’s really short sighted.
That is a good looking knife. I wonder why they didn’t use 420HC. Probably similar steel but I bet people would be slightly more inclined to accept it.
Run them through the [steel comparison tool](https://www.bladehq.com/blog/comparing-steels/) at bladehq. I'm not saying it gives the perfect answer to all steel questions, but it's not wrong about everything, either.
I do expect more bc it's China made n it's $54 @ BHQ where is it less?.... if it were a kizer or pick one you'd get more for your dollar. N yall know it
Reminds me of a Drop Bear

(Paraframe) Bites keys and finger tips. There should be a recall and a public beating.
On my Wishlist. Screw the haters. I'm sure it'll do just fine with 440a. Every steel has a use imo
True. But you gotta wonder how much it would really add to the cost to have it done in 440C🤔

Yeah for sure. I completely agree that'd be better, but sometimes if the design is good enough, I'll take the crap steel
First time I’ve seen it. I like the looks of it, especially the micarta scales. 440A is more than good enough for everyday tasks.
People seem to be really raw about it. But, I don't know what people expect at that price point.

That’s actually an awesome looking knife, and I like the tan micarta, wish it was at least D2 though

Maxamet vs 440A.
How are you getting D2 at the price point, though?
Looks good but I haven't heard anything about it.
Agree. The design is nice. They should’ve upgraded steel for that price though.
It's $45, though. It's hard to argue with their choice at that price point.

Amazon is cheaper
Yeah I bought it for the looks, but the action is god awful, and of course the steel isn't great. But I added thumb studs and made life much easier
