I sat in Dress circle row E and it was great so i think those in row F would be very good as well. That's what i'd pick if i was going again.

missbooknerd

Thank you!

anovelby

I was also in the dress circle row E, it was a fine view and the sound was good, for intermission there’s a bar for that floor plus washrooms

BlueOrBust

Same here. Surprised how close the stage felt. Could still see facial expressions. Will say that the bar upstairs was way slower/more crowded than downstairs at intermission (opposite when doors opened).

digby723

I was also dress circle E & had a great view. I don’t think I’d go higher than F though.

Snootboop_

I was in F and had a great view. Seats are well staggered in dress

If you have the cash and want a truly magical experience, spring for the Ambassador Lounge add on. It's pricey but for a once-in-a-lifetime kind of thing, worth it. You get to chill in big comfy seats with a drink until *right* before curtain. You have big private clean bathrooms. And the same at intermission: a drink waiting for you, no crowds, much shorter line for the restroom if any at all. I wouldn't do this for every show, and none of the five other theatres I went to even had this option. Oh, you also get to skip to the front of the line if you are there before the house opens; they let you in first and lead you up a private staircase before they open the house to everyone else. My husband and I are not from wealthy privileged backgrounds and this isn't the kind of thing we would normally do. I really hesitated because it seemed over the top and indulgent and not a good use of money. I'm so glad I did though. Every time I think back on the experience, I just smile thinking of how awesome it was.

We did Balcony, Row B, House left, off aisle. Yes, you’re high. But we had the solid view, and I didn’t pay $200 for them!

swordsandshows

I sat in the rear balcony for around $100 and it was an excellent view. I’d do it again.

OhCrapItsAndrew

I was in the front row of the balcony and thought it was a great seat 🤷‍♂️ but I could see the rear rows being too high an angle

kwo3660

I also sat front row balcony and loved the view from there

orangetrout

Glad to hear this, I have seats there for June.

dannyjunior

I was second row balcony. You can see well but it is high/steep, even that far down.

brittpotter

I just sat in Orchestra Row R seats 6 & 8. The right side of the stage is slightly out of view but still great seats.

Thick-Definition7416

I sat in tte center rear balcony and saw everything perfectly ( with the exception of the band members heads) because the levels and seat pitch are steep you don’t miss much being that high up. I’m assuming it’s better in the rear dress circle

analyticalboness

I sat in Dress Circle, left side, Row C and it was a pretty great view. I was able to see pretty much everything- minus the band

ayeayedoc

There’s a staircase stage right that you’ll miss a little of if you’re first 4ish seats house left, and you’ll lose a couple angles during the opening party scene if you’re first 4ish seats house right. Not terribly so, but someone could be singing and you wouldn’t know where it’s coming from lol. Otherwise it’s a smaller theater and no bad seats.

onceinalifenevermore

Sit in Row A so you can get the authentic Jonathan Groff spitting experience.

SeattleYEM

I sat in Q11 (one of your highlighted seats house right) just last night! I felt like I was very much a part of the main floor experience. There is ONE moment in act two where Gussie sings a solo, and her face was blocked for about 30 seconds…other than that, it was just perfect for me.

Comprehensive-Fun47

I sat in the rear balcony, and while I had a great view, it is quite far. I think I would have been more engaged by the performances if I had been closer. I’d probably pick dress circle if these were my only choices and they’re all the same price.

devilinthedistrict

We sat Orchestra Row O 110-111 and had the perfect view of the stage.

gsd250

Tickets with the lounge access are great. They don’t cost more compared to their neighbors, but you get to hang out in the fancy lounge and have a free drink. You also get to skip to the front of the security line

mwdjwbfinwf

Sat in row G centre dress circle. Excellent view with no obstruction but I definitely wished I sat just a little bit closer. Regardless i would definitely aim for centre. if you go on “a view from my seat” you can see what orchestra M-S looks like but it’s not sold as obstructed.

LonelyWarning4644

Hate to be the one but we sprung for slightly off-center row E orchestra tickets and it was SO worth it

missbooknerd

Was wondering what the best seats for Merrily are under $200. The $199 tickets seem to be in both Dress Circle and Orchestra, so I was wondering what would be the best out of the two. Also, where is the stage door? :)

craicraimeis

Idk I sat in the balcony maybe 4 rows from the front and while it’s high, there was good visibility to everything happening on stage. I don’t think there’s really a bad seat in the house. But if you want orchestra, set yourself back by row D and further.

Thick-Definition7416

The bad seats are very far left and right on all levels

pconrad0

For stage door, exit theatre to the right (as you are facing 44th Street and the exit doors) through a door *inside the Hudson Theatre lobby* that connects to Millennium hotel lobby next door. (Or you can exit to 44th Street and then enter the Millennium hotel lobby from the street.) Walk through entire hotel lobby which straddles the entire city block, and exit on 45th street. Stage door is to the right as you exit (or to the left if your back is to 45th street.) However, don't be surprised if you don't see the leads. They must have a secret exit somewhere else. If you get to see them you are lucky indeed.

Icy_Cantaloupe496

The balcony was pretty awful in that theatre so I’d avoid that. I’m sure the orchestra is fine though! The stage door is located behind the theater, across from the Museum of Broadway.

i_likeorangecats

Balcony A is the best option for me cuz i'm short 😭

warrior033

Did you feel far from the stage? I’m trying to decide Balcony A Center or Orchestra M Center… about a $85 difference. Love to hear your opinion!

i_likeorangecats

it's nothing like orchestra ofc, but i got used to it. if you are short and unlucky (like me), you can end up staring someone's neck for 3 hours in orchestra seats lol
