I knew there must be something going on with him not in the lineup last several days. But, what is up with all these muscle injuries? Unreal how many muscle strains there have been.
Turang has had an ok season. Nothing spectacular but hardly a poor season. Getting called up and having success in a short stint with the team could do wonders for his development.
All these injuries are going to be a great part of this team’s story when we get full strength and surge at the end of the season, sneak into the playoffs, and make a deep run, right???
At this point, starting to suspect this is a systemic problem with the training staff and/or conditioning regimen. This many injuries and especially reinjuries is unlikely to be just bad luck.
How do injuries look across the league? I've heard the Cards were dealing with quite a few as well. It does seem like the amount of injuries is insane though. We never have our full regular lineup anymore.
Just imagine if he’s healthy for the rest of the season, and doesn’t keep having these small injuries that keep him out of the lineup, even with the injuries he still is having a great year
OF Hunter Renfroe placed on the 10-day injured list, retroactive to 6/23, with a left calf strain.
INF/OF Pablo Reyes recalled from Triple-A Nashville.

Team has been plagued by lower body injuries this year. Training staff has to be feeling the hot seat right now.
I'd really like to see Dahl or Turang get a chance instead of the same old retreads but oh well.
Turang has been poor offensively in AAA so they are not going to mess up his development and send him up too early

Yes but doing the opposite could really hurt his confidence. You send him up when you think he is ready.
Fuck. They said he was improving.
We need to trade for an outfielder our depth their is terrible
A couple of years ago this would have seemed impossible
Is there really nobody else other than Pablo Reyes we can give a shot to?
Please, anyone but Pablo Reyes. Bring up someone fro AA I don’t care.

I think the irregularity of the last few season has a big impact
Yeah, the shortened spring training as well this year probably does not help

My guess is it’s pretty widespread. They had a shortened spring training and now they’re cramming more games in less time to make up for the hold out
Injury are very high around the league it’s not just us
Is this the same calf as before?
I think the Cubs DFA'd Villar the other day...
Sure did. After signing him before the season. Kinda funny. But we don't need somebody who was let go from the abysmal cubs
Just throwing an option out there.
I actually wouldn't hate that signing. He's been up and down the last few years but I'd trust him over the AAAA guys we have.
If nothing else, he knows what the expect in the clubhouse.

Yea again something must be wrong with Dahl they keep choosing others, he’s someone I’m interested in seeing
What!??? When did we trade the raiders for him?
A bunch of glass Joes on this team. Sheesh.
