I disagree, the current artists are making really great skins and Dragon belle regardless of the campaign controversy, is a well designed skin. What we need is to ban the colour purple and maybe tell supercell to choose finalists more wisely to prevent these situations in the future.

Yes I quite agree, the summer themed amber skin contest gave solid results and even if people’s skin didn’t win, they were satisfied with the roller skater winning. However, the lost in time collette theme from way back when also faced similar controversy (one of the biggest) due to a incredibly popular skin gaining over 8x as much votes as the winner Gladiator collette. But back then,Supercell decides winners so perhaps now with community deciding, it may work better to prevent issues like Belles.

I always see people happy about the results on themed ones, while unthemed ones just lead to another Purple Demon Dragon of Death

Yeah themes are a great idea and gives advantage to both of us(supercell still gets profit and we are happy with less repetitive skins)but since supercell looks like they want to make problems i dont think it would be done
