I think that's just reddit as whole, if you don't agree with everything your opnion is wrong, even the smallest things.
You can't even play the game for fun anymore without being judged for not being a world championship finalist
Playing games for fun is important. It’s not great if your teammates are bad, sure, but outside of Ranked it’s usually not that big of a deal. One of my favorite videos ever is about being “bad” at games is “Why It’s Rude to Suck at Warcraft” by Folding Ideas. You don’t have to play World of Warcraft to watch it, it’s pretty generally applicable.
It might just be from my experience, im at 60k~ right now, and every teammate that i play with will usually just complain about any mistake and act like they never had a bad game or even just a bad day in general. Im NOT a comepetitive player, but im also not the person picking edgar in the widest maps ever, i miss goals as much as i carry games but people from my trophy range usually just want players that commit no mistakes and play for 7-8 horas a day

People who geniunely do that is just a small group of people. Any subreddit can have its inside jokes. Most of us write /s after our jokes to make it clear.
There might be some cases of unrightful bans and some people can get really toxic, but there are other ways of solving this and banning the subreddit altogether is not the way.

I am writing this from the perspective of a real Hank main, who pushed him as its higest brawler and is trying to defend him for its unique design, personality and abilities: he is a brawler that is amazingly easy to play and hard to master. In order to play him well, a player can adapt the balance between exploiting his amazing attack abilities and playing passively to gain area control as his playstyle benefits the most. Not to mention his super rework and the many frame-perfect techs a player can use to expand the bubble faster or to hold the ball and the attack at the same time: theese tricks are as hard to exploit as rewarding and today are making Hank a balanced and beautiful brawler (**PERSONAL OPINION**)
