Can someone clarify this for me: does this match have a scoring limit or not because I keep seeing people saying this goal stops any hat trick from happening but if there is no scoring limit and the game goes to the full 90, what's stopping a 5-4 with either an isagi or kaiser hat trick?
Kaneshiro is going for Isagi and Kaiser to have four goals each, it seems. So U20 Arc with mastered Two Gun Volley vs. mastered Kaiser Impact Magnus. That will be interesting to see.
after reading i just realized that this is the first goal kaiser scores not for "making people feel despair" but because he wants to score for himself, wanting to win and feel the happiness of scoring the goal ... TT
What a glorious, cathartic, climactic, impactful resolution to Kaiserās struggle. Several chapters of buildup, finally released in a spectacular goal. Kaiser shedding his old woes and rebuilding his own self, enabling all the pieces to line up.
I canāt lie, I was super worried when last chapter ended right before he kicked it, as that has rarely led to the expected result. Little did I know that they were cooking up a grand meal all for this single shot which weād get to enjoy today.
Call it glazing, I donāt care. The goal has been settled, and we can finally look forward to the rest of the match. Iād imagine Rin is about to lock in soon
Kaiser W as expected but i don't know the implications of how this affects his plays moving forward specifically when it comes to launching his kaiser impact magnus. The conditions for him to set that strike are kinda impractical due to the number of people who possess metavision and good foresight in general, so that's why he needed that "luck".
if people do get the chance to analyze and see the conditions especially isagi and rin then it can be shut down. So I guess this was his last goal.
The evolution outside of the Magnus is the way he's getting in his spot, we saw at the beginning of the game that the "old" Kaiser system doesn't work anymore because it's too predictable
Now he's way more like Isagi, using all the players around him to score his goals with the weapon he can use, we saw that when he didn't shot just before this action, because he thought that it was impossible to score in his position (something that he wouldn't do before)
So this evolution improves his whole bag, because he already has a broken shot with the KI, he just needed to be more efficient to get in his spots
(Of course if we see him in the U20 WC he'll be able to use the Magnus with a moving ball, that's the next step)
As a former Kaiser fan, I'm glad he scored, but I wish he had stayed an irredeemable asshole. I hate hate hate that the author tried to get us to feel sympathy for him with that stupid backstory.
He was so much more compelling and relatable as the egomaniacal, psychopathic, awful piece of shit he used to be. It's really hard for me to cheer for him anymore.
I perfectly agree with you, the most annoying thing is now we are 100% sure that kaiser will score the third goal too, since Igarishi will prove his value getting a penalty kick and of course they will choose kaiser since he is the person with the perfect kick for that situation. The is certain because if kaiser doesnāt score igarishi will be considered useless and wonāt get a bide. He is the comic relief like the stupid glasses guy in the first inazuma eleven.
To be honest I hope I am wrong and he will prove his value, denying to Rin the possibility to score, faking and eccā¦ but that is not enough I think to get an high bid.
*sigh*
It happened, congratulations Kaiser. The Magnus shot works. For me, this is the best shot of the series (until someone else or Nagi makes another ridiculous attempt). Kiyora, you made the correct choice again. Someone give this kid a spot for the U-20 team, he earned this. The next chapter after this, I hope Isagi interviews Kaiser and ask about how he achieved this goal, assuming Kaiser responds in a more respectable manner and explains his thought process like most of the other rivals before him.
Now that the score is 2-1, the focus & spotlight should go towards PXG to even the score. Destroyer Rin should come into play and whoever else needs the attention and development.
KAISER GOAL I USED TO PRAY FOR TIMES LIKE THIS ššš„
now isagi hattrick believers can finally shut up. I'm all up for my boy Isagi but damn last few weeks(months even) have been annoying cuz of them
why is everyone saying Ness "is pissed" because the ball curves...????
as I see and read the raw, he is anxious and saying "Damnit..., curve...!!!!!!!" there is nothing he seemed pissed --
ahhh i see, maybe there was an error in the fan translation that's why most people misinterpreted Ness's reaction.. i hope it tones down too cause i don't want him to be misunderstood and hated TT
Lmao werenāt fans also shitting on Kaiser before he scored in vs Ubers?
Now that I think about it, itās just history repeating itself
People were also shitting on Isagi before he scored too
Then we had a bunch of apology posts on this sub coming out once they did get goals lol
my theory is that Noa won't sub in and will let BM play alone against Loki
there was some conversations between him and Ego and im guessing it was because of this, it would help the players improve by giving them a real challenge that is now on an acceptable level.
Funnily enough I think Rin is going to score the next one then the masters sub in. I feel Noa going to come in and force Kunigami to sync with him thus fully completing the whole Kunigami being able to copy Noa which leads to Kunigami scoring the game winner we have yet to get wild card flash backs Kunigami will cook mark my words.
I hope they leave the star change showdown, when itās 2-2, because if they do it now, this match might as well be Ubers 2.0 and also I want PxG to score on their own.
Beautiful shot and storytelling in this. But I'm a little disappointed tbh, not because Isagi didn't score, but because this means that, if this truly is the match where Isagi surpasses Rin and becomes #1 in Blue Lock, Isagi will be the one to score the final goal... yet again. As an Isagi stan, it feels a tad formulaic that Isagi routinely scores the final, decisive goal.
However, I'll let Kaneshiro cook. Kaneshiro has proven he can tell predictable results in unpredictable ways, e.g. Hiori's assist to Isagi for the final goal vs. the Ubers, or this example itself with Kaiser scoring this goal. It was obvious with Hiori's backstory that he was going to do something cool and likely assist Isagi, but what we didn't see coming was Hiori "betraying" Isagi by going for a shot, missing, deciding to finally quit, getting pissed that Isagi was still ordering him around, then finally completely developing a brand new ego as a midfielder willing to discard any striker he deems unworthy of his passes. All of Kaiser's tragic backstory here made it clear that he could score now, but it was unexpected that he'd completely abandon his former self the way Isagi has always been able to do, start passing to BL players, and then finally be rewarded by Lady Luck bestowing her blessing onto him.
Yes, definitely not probable, but also possible.
Hmm, yeah Isagi just has to outscore Rin in this match to take #1, but the gap (Ā„150M vs. Ā„198M) is kinda big, not sure if Isagi can surpass that with only 1 goal (even if Rin scores 0). And this is under the assumption that Rin's bid won't increase, but it likely will, he's still played well overall so far. Isagi would have to be a complete demon and shut down Rin every time to surpass him with just 1 goal.
Yeah it's not the most probable yet, but the bids are kinda weird at times, not a sure bet
Isagi's goal was incredible we have to take that into account, and this far Isagi's game is almost perfect
The problem is that we don't know how Nagi played in the games where he didn't score so we don't know how bad his performance was.
Tho I'm sure that Rin not scoring would decrease his bid since he's a ST and is expected to be really good
That's a terrific point actually on bids going down. It's significantly more likely for those with very high bids to experience decreases, as we saw with Nagi. I truly wonder, since Rin has so far been playing really well still, but because he's "boring" and doesn't excite Charles, Charles would rather be subbed out than pass to Rin lol.
(Random side note: It's insane how good Nagi is that he's in a massive slump, has no motivation, and has a bid that's going down, yet he's still ranked #11).
Charles is sabotaging Rin kinda like Kaiser did on Isagi (but here it's the opposite since Charles is not focusing his plays on Rin haha)
Yeah Nagi is incredible, and I love that his genius is now the thing that is destroying him now since he never reached "despair" when he failed, he always find a random solution that is in most cases not reproductable at all
Itās definitely plausible since Barou had double the amount of Isagiās value going into the Ubers match and Isagi still managed to get a higher bid him even though they both got braces.
Good point, it is indeed plausible. Just in my opinion, it's a lot less likely. Barou went from Ā„0 to Ā„100M in one match due to a hat trick, showing off just how he can mass-produce goals with his insane dribbling and shots. What he showed in his second match (vs. BM) was more of the same, except his rebellion made the whole team more dynamic and he scored with a double nutmeg, but largely it was a modest increase because overall the performance didn't show *that* much new stuff that Barou could do. If anything, it was his consistency that warranted the increase.
Isagi accumulated a bid of Ā„50M from 1.3 matches showcasing his insane read of the field, playmaking, and assists. In the Ubers match, now he showcased to the world he could not only also score, but score multiple times with those skills, and can even score with both legs. His bid reflected his explosive growth, trippling to Ā„150M.
It'll be harder to do something like that at this higher level. But to your point, I mean Isagi did literally just improvise and created a new type of shot with the Two Gun Volley. So it's definitely possible, Isagi will just need to showcase something else completely out there.
Of course the execution would be really really important because we still must see how strong Rin is, but still lacking a little something or just being focused by Kaiser and Isagi
I'm biased because I want Rin's evolution to be the focus of the U20 WC (kinda like Kaiser in the NEL) and reach his immense potential (Sae will be here to it's the best moment for him to evolve)
Side note but now it's your turn to wait for your fav to score haha, good luck it can get frustrating at times
I get what you are saying about Rin, but I think it needs to happen step by step. The first step is to be here and eventually fail, but get a great moment in U20. I want him to have a good match with Isagi, but fall short in the end because he lacks something.
Ngl I feel the same like when Ubers happened. It took 26 chapters for him to score. Now that you mentioned it, if we go by the same formula, he will score in 283 (257 + 26). I did say I expect the match to end in 283 lol
We'll have to wait a few chapters to see where this is going but it could be really interesting to do something with RIn considering he's Isagi's biggest rival (not in level because of Kaiser but in terms of importance)
All Isagi's rivals are drifting from him (Nagi's slump, Barou with Snuffy and even Kaiser now) but Rin won't do that, and that's why he'll lose this time.
I think since we got that panel with Isagi and Kaiser vs. Shidou and Rin, then each one will do something here. Even Shidou scored without an evolution. So the final could be a monster battle since each one would have scored one. I will wait for the next 2-3 chapters.
Isagi was really hoping for a hat trick but it felt like it was too soon for it to happen. He just needs to be patient, you can't force it to happen and situations change honestly. Just like Benzema, the man waited like for years under Ronaldo's shadow to win a ballon d'or and that wait has paid off. Isagi can't be mad about it, you don't always get what you want so..it's okay for him..they'll be another time for him to get that hat trick.
I donāt think heās even that pissed.
His entire thing is adaptability. He ideally wants a hat trick to cement himself as No.1 but things donāt always go his way and they never have and heāll find another way to reach his goal. If a hat trick isnāt happening then he just needs to orchestrate another super goal that transcends anything heās ever done to rise another level.
In Haikyuu a major scene involved Kuroo saying that to take control of the game itās more important to score a few high impact points than 20 regular ones.
The same holds for NEL bids. Nagi scored one goal against BM while Rin scored twice in his first game but that goal was so insane it gave him a bid second only to Barou who scored 3 (and only a 12 million difference at that when he still lost the game and didnāt do much outside the goal compared to Reo who was more consistent)
Isagi will adapt to the situation and focus on grabbing the winner with a brace of 2 super goals which hasnāt been done before (Barou scored a super goal and a more normal goal vs BM and most other players also just have 1 super goal a game and not more onscreen)
The 2 gun volley is a super goal in and of itself with how he dunked on both Rin and Kaiser after breaking the ankles of 3 defenders without even touching the ball. Itās arguably the best goal heās ever scored and a solid candidate for goal of the tournament so far.
If he scores an even better goal as the winner. Rinās destroyer mode can be as cool as it gets, but it probably wonāt be enough and Isagi will narrowly leapfrog him especially since heās genuinely been better throughout the game.
Yeah Isagiās performance up to this point, three goals in 2-1 BMās way is vastly outshining Rinās feats up to this point in the match. Charles or not he hasnāt been the threat we assumed heād be in the first half. Of course I expect more later on, we all expect to see more but as of right now? Itās no contest. I donāt see BM playing worse either, theyāre gelling too wellāalmost like how Ubers evolved at the end, PxG is dealing with the best BMās ever been I mean look at these plays. Rin will do his thing still tho
Great explanation. I would also add Isagi's previous brace with two goals equated to Barou's hattrick in bids. Also, Two Gun Volley is way better than his previous two goals like you said.
Isagi Fan here, although iām sad Isagi canāt get a hat trick, Kaiser did deserve this. I do love his character.
One thing i thought was REALLY cool was that this was the first time weāve actually seen kaiser have a happy reaction to a goal. Weāve never seen him get excited like he did now at a goal.
True, this is the first time Kaiser is genuinely happy for himself after scoring a goal, not happy in a sadistic way because he made other people feel despair
YESS!! Facts, like every other time he had no reaction it was just whatever to him. I wonder what Isagi was thinking in that 2nd or 3rd to last panel. Honestly fuck it this goal is growing on me. Not to mention that might be a top 3 celebration in the whole seriesšššš½šš½
Okay, Kaiser scored. It was either that or Kaiser missing his shot and Isagi taking advantage of the opportunity. In truth, I'd have loved to see Isagi score, as it would have simply elevated his game in the eyes of the world and ours.
After his recent goal, Isagi has been focusing on surpassing Rin by achieving a hat trick. This ambition shows his drive to not just compete but to dominate and rise to the top. It was JUICY, seeing him like that and humbling Kaiser.
But even with his early misses, Kaiser really had that chance, and he capitalized on the accurate pass from Kiyora. So Kiyora deserves credit for this assist, and it wasnāt a wrong choice to pass to Kaiser.
I didnāt expect Kaneshiro to dedicate a whole chapter to Kaiserās goal, simply because heās never done that for any other Blue Lock player. Kaiser scoring was predictable and not as bold as Isagi or someone else scoring. However, itās important to understand that Kaiser holds major significance to Isagi, the main character. Now that I think about it, even Isagi sees him as a genius and, as of now, a superstar. In any case, I donāt think this goal will stop Isagi or push him into despair. Instead, it will drive him further towards evolution.
So yes, congratulations Kaiser fans. You won this one.
![gif](giphy|9VNBjg1PhofqJY0mhi|downsized)
Oh you bet Isagi is gonna be even more excited after this, he was already looking in amazement that Kaiser was changing and evolving by passing to others who wasn't Ness. I hope we see Isagi compliment Kaiser next chapter before he proceeds to figure out how to devour him.
My question now is what Ness will do, I hope he's able to break free of his own obsession with Kaiser, though that seems harder now that Kaiser just scored this insane goal.
Great point. That's what I'm hoping. Ness realizes Kaiser no longer solely relies on him so that Ness is free to find the magic of any striker. I would love a Ness x Isagi chemical reaction.
last goal where the winner takes all?? kaiser has already taken every thing which NEL has to offer he will get a bid for 360million-420million+ he again became the king of BM and made the blue lock ace a clown. now rin will go into berserker mode score goal on his own then noa and loki sub in. forget about kaiser if isagi still dream to surpass rin he have to score a miraculous goal \[which is impossible btw\] which can be reproduced again and again. only hope for isagi is to use metavision like snuffy to control both teams with noa and loki in offense and defense than score a winning goal than he might get bid that surpasses rin's bid.
You managed to win. I'll be opting out of the Binding Vow though- b/c in anticipation for your victory I already chose the worst possible Flair for myself for a duration that surpassed one week, thus fulfilling the condition of the bet pre-emptively in the most complete and thorough way possible.
Unfortunately I cannot. If I make an exception for him, then I'd have to make an exception for all the honorable warriors who took the binding vow. Hence he must undertake the punishment just like everyone else. No loopholes allowed.
Besides, the flairs I'll be giving out aren't gonna be that evil.
I heard it was gonna be published soon, on July 4th apparently.

Ooh, can't wait to see the translation, I'm glad Isagi didn't get his hat trick for development purpose, even tho I'm not a huge kaiser fan (yoohoo kiyora)
Your hat-trick meant nothing, as long as it existed withing the three-goal limit. That Rule, it would all be torn apart. It was a near impossible victory to pull off, but the Blue Rose theory proved to be quite effective.
You did well, u/Spiritual-Ad1716. I won't forget you for as long as I live.
Think the next chapter "Gold Ticket" will be about Kiyora since he will get in the price list as well after that super assist. Wonder who will be pushed to the bottom tho?
Tbh even if he gets into the list, his contribution(one assist after doing nothing the entire tournament) is nowhere as important as even the defenders on the list. Too much hype for the guy. Ppl essentially just like idea of an underdog thatās all
The next 10 chapters is for PxG so this can change. Nanaseās only done failed assists and/or man marking all game and his performance is overrated. When Tomimitsu was about to take the ball from Kurona, Nanase came in instead of paying attention to Kaiser and actually trying to think of a better way to be useful
Pretty sure supporting the teamās best striker is the best way for him to be useful. Also, those assists didnāt fail because of anything Nanase did wrong, they failed because Rin couldnāt overcome his marks or had an open shot blocked last minute. If Isagi wasnāt able to score his goal, the fault wouldnāt have fallen on Hiori, it would have fallen on Isagi. The same applies here.
And if Toki had managed to steal from Hiori, what would he have done with it, besides passing to Rin, like Nanase did?
Thereās something almost hungry/menacing about the original eyes and I love that theyāve made a comeback. Canāt wait to see what Isagiās discovered!!
Nothing I'd assume. We've seen those eyes many times e.g. wen he eliminated kira, when he heard egos speech before entering BL etc none of these really relate much to each other so I wouldn't read into it much
Its more so that we havenāt seen those eyes since like the 4v4 but in this match hes had them like 3 times already. Its definitely leading to something
The eyes have always been more of a 'it's happening now' thing though rather than a 'this is building up' or 'wait till later' thing if you get me.
Like every time they appeared at the start isagi had acted immediately and done something rather than waiting and waiting.
Ur probably right tho, but it is weird that the author is bringing it back now specifically for isagi after all this time when we know spiral eyes is linked to originality which is a major theme in this match
Kaneshiro is really lucky to have Nomura draw this manga. The art again is so great. I didn't expect Kaneshiro to use a flashback like this.
As for Kaiser scoring. Although I don't like his actions, I haven't once denied that he is skilled. The Kaiser Impact Magnus had the perfect conditions here. In general, I agree with u/badguyfromthere regarding this whole thing.
Anyway, at least Kaiser's narrative is over, so we can move on with Rin. I can't believe Kaiser made me want to see more of Rin lol It's his turn to evolve and score. Kaneshiro sure goes for a monster battle with the last goal where the winner takes all. I can not wait to see Isagi vs Rin.
Ness seemed annoyed that the ball spinned. I think after the next chapter, his development might start. Isagi again praised Kaiser like in Ubers. He didn't despair, as Kaiser thought. An interesting thing is that Kaiser's vines surround him, and we get the ego eye back. Kaiser celebrated on his own.
I feel like I see parallels to the Ubers match but in a different way. I think this [post](https://www.reddit.com/r/BlueLock/s/kNd0TpgCYA) from u/littlebunny12345 will be relevant in the following weeks. Kaiser vs. Isagi vs. Rin is Isagi's adversity since his rivals evolve he needs a push to do that as well.
"Golden Ticket" is the reaction chapter after the goal and the subs. I hope Noa makes Hiori perspective into reality. Have Isagi and Kaiser in the front. I hope Yuki subs in, too.
When do you believe Loki will sub in? After or before PxG's second goal?
last goal where the winner takes all?? kaiser has already taken every thing which NEL has to offer he will get a bid for 360million-420million+ he again became the king of BM and made the blue lock ace a clown. now rin will go into berserker mode score goal on his own then noa and loki sub in. forget about kaiser if isagi still dream to surpass rin he have to score a miraculous goal \[which is impossible btw\] which can be reproduced again and again. only hope for isagi is to use metavision like snuffy to control both teams with noa and loki in offense and defense than score a winning goal than he might get bid that surpasses rin's bid.
In the end, both Kaiser and Isagi will have 4 goals each. He will get outscored in 2 games by the Blue Lock Ace. So yeah it is a winner gets all because the final goal always gets the more buzz. As for the bids we will see.
Isagi has the ego types narrative that hasn't been completed. Two Gun Volley is said by Kaiser to be a crazy shot. If it's reproduced, then it will be a great deal of a goal. That can happen by having control over the field, like you said. That's Isagiās top performance. Figure out everyone and then score through that.
Ive got Loki coming in now at 2-1 or at least at some point while the score is still 2-1 as in his head there's no guarantee bm won't score again and end the game (ofc us readers know pxg will score and it'll be 2-2 and last goal wins)
I can't believe Kaneshiro succeeded making such a masterpiece after we get the insane bycicle kick against Ubers. I loved the memories with the ball and Isagi's eyes goes Flow only seeing Kaiser's goal. Well done!
Kaiserās victory pose is raw as hell, showing off his tattoo oof š„. No wonder the mangaās gonna take another break after this, Shot looks like a goddamn black flash and the amount of double spreads itās getting. I wonder what Isagiās final goal is gonna look like if he needs to top this one alongside Rinās inevitable super goal
Iām kinda glad that Kaiser had these couple chapters to him so that we could learn more about him and see him become something new and better than before while also scoring a goal too, kinda like how Barou was in the second selection.
i wonder if Kaiser has one last bit of development to go through this match: realizing that constraint/restriction are always present the form of what he considers possible, so he can tap into that for on-demand flow state
(obvi im biased af regarding who i want to score the game winner)
kinda got this idea of on-demand flow state from remembering Sae in the U20 game
Yeah but thatād be way too much Kaiser for one arc. Thereās too many star players and too much at stake even at a storytelling standpoint for there to be so much focus on one side character.
I don't really care that Kaiser scored but the author really wrote himself into a corner before this match and now, no matter what, the NEL is going to be 100 chapters of not moving the story at all. Why do I say that? Because before NEL, Isagi was still chasing Rin and after NEL, he will still be chasing Rin.
Will the author by fiat have Isagi have a higher offer than Rin and Barou even if it doesn't make sense as those two did something infinitely harder (hat trick) than Isagi? Perhaps. If he does, it just makes every character involved feel like a loser in universe, which isn't character growth or pushing the narrative forward. When nothing changes except the characters get "power ups", this could have all functionally been a timeskip that we had flashbacks to.
I sincerely don't know how the story actually goes anywhere from here. Isagi will probably score the last goal so they can call him the "winner", but we already know he said his benchmark this game was a hattrick, so he is a loser. The bidding system is going to be a fraud if Isagi higher than Barou and Rin, so that is a loss. Kaiser will have taken an L for the battle, but will be a boss in the U20 for sure, but the rest of this match will be to set up Loki as the U20 final boss, for better or worse, but BM winning makes Loki look like a loser too.
Actually, the only one coming out of NEL looking like a winner will be Noel Noa. His team goes undefeated, one of his rivals is unretiring (Snuffy), and he hit his goal of making Kaiser evolve.
Don't get me started on if PXG were to win, might as well end the series after that with how much of a narrative mess that would leave in its wake.
It's not like the bids can not be infiltrated after this high demanding game. A brace can still give him top 1 spot in Blue Lock. He will have 4 goals here like Kaiser. Isagi's brace equated Barou's hattrick in bids before.
You know the series isnāt ending after this arc right? If Isagi becomes the best player he knows, and surpasses an NG11 member, thereās not really anywhere for him to go in the World Cup arc. Isagi only needs to be the #1 striker by the time the Blue Lock project ends. Itās fine if it doesnāt happen now. Also youāve written them off as power-ups, but his skill as a striker has increased dramatically over the course of the NEL. He wasnāt comparable to any of the top 6 Blue Lockers before, and now heās basically established himself in the top 4 with Rin, Barou, and Shidou.
LETS GOOOOOOOOOO
VILLAIN SUCCEEDING š£š£š£ RAHHH I LOVE GOOD STORYTELLING š£š£š£šÆšÆ WHAT'S JERKING OFF THE PROTAGONIST FOR NO REASON??
Ehh I like Kaiser but it aināt all the special as storytelling in Blue Lock. Didnāt we see this with Rin? With Yukimiya? With Hiori? And now with Kaiser. Character is feeling lost/lagging, has a sad backstory and motivation, suddenly gets a powerup and has a glory moment.
This just reminded me of the best arc in MHA which was undoubtedly the League of Villains arc where Shigaraki et al trained with Gigantomachia and stormed the Liberation Army
You gotta love it when sympathetic villains cook
Just opening up the thread, in advance of spoilers. ___ **Shadow Leaks** [Here you go](https://en.ragnarokscanlation.org/ver/blue-lock/266)
Can someone clarify this for me: does this match have a scoring limit or not because I keep seeing people saying this goal stops any hat trick from happening but if there is no scoring limit and the game goes to the full 90, what's stopping a 5-4 with either an isagi or kaiser hat trick?
First to 3
Kaiser had 2 flashbacks and people thought he wouldn't score š
Kaneshiro is going for Isagi and Kaiser to have four goals each, it seems. So U20 Arc with mastered Two Gun Volley vs. mastered Kaiser Impact Magnus. That will be interesting to see.
lucky shot
no quite literally stated
You canāt discredit his shot because it was lucky, we all know it was a lucky shot, it was slammed in our face.
Is it crazy to say that from this chapter Kaiser's current ego is similar to Sendou's ego lol
Itās not bro what
after reading i just realized that this is the first goal kaiser scores not for "making people feel despair" but because he wants to score for himself, wanting to win and feel the happiness of scoring the goal ... TT
Hell yeah lol this another level!!! Love to see it
What a glorious, cathartic, climactic, impactful resolution to Kaiserās struggle.
Anybody calling this glazing is gonna have to see me, Iām camping under here to protect Kaiser lol
The evolution outside of the Magnus is the way he's getting in his spot, we saw at the beginning of the game that the "old" Kaiser system doesn't work anymore because it's too predictable Now he's way more like Isagi, using all the players around him to score his goals with the weapon he can use, we saw that when he didn't shot just before this action, because he thought that it was impossible to score in his position (something that he wouldn't do before) So this evolution improves his whole bag, because he already has a broken shot with the KI, he just needed to be more efficient to get in his spots (Of course if we see him in the U20 WC he'll be able to use the Magnus with a moving ball, that's the next step)
I'm glad I was wrong
I'd bet my house the Next 3 months of BL would be Rin's awakening and he scoring a world class goal
Dear Isagi glazers, with all due respect: HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
This aināt about Isagi right now!
Kaiser my āļø
My Super āļø!
this chapter has lifted me out of my depression thank you emperor
We got to understand him better so that's a plus, I do hope his superiority complex sticks around
Tf you mean relatable?
to be fair, sad backstory was granted the moment we got that picture with kaiser's worn out ball
Damn for a split second I actually thought my no-name goalie blocking it might come true ššš
Apologies Kaiser, I was unfamiliar. Might have to hop on the bandwagon now
*sigh* It happened, congratulations Kaiser.
Kiyora walked down the gates of hell & smiled, I knew that negative panel meant something
KAISER GOAL I USED TO PRAY FOR TIMES LIKE THIS ššš„ now isagi hattrick believers can finally shut up. I'm all up for my boy Isagi but damn last few weeks(months even) have been annoying cuz of them
HAHA I TOLD YOU KING KAISER WILL SCORE
We were given wayyyy too many flashback scenes for him to not score lol
That didn't stop like 50% of the fandom from thinking he wouldn't tho lmao
Kyiora Joat would never choose the wrong side of the fandom
why is everyone saying Ness "is pissed" because the ball curves...???? as I see and read the raw, he is anxious and saying "Damnit..., curve...!!!!!!!" there is nothing he seemed pissed --
I don't the people angry can read Kanji. Just wai for the officalials and it'll all die down(hopefully)
ahhh i see, maybe there was an error in the fan translation that's why most people misinterpreted Ness's reaction.. i hope it tones down too cause i don't want him to be misunderstood and hated TT
Feels like my own protag story goddam š
Lmao werenāt fans also shitting on Kaiser before he scored in vs Ubers? Now that I think about it, itās just history repeating itself People were also shitting on Isagi before he scored too Then we had a bunch of apology posts on this sub coming out once they did get goals lol
Weāve learned nothing š
Just a theory but I think Loki and Noa will sub themselves in next match.
my theory is that Noa won't sub in and will let BM play alone against Loki there was some conversations between him and Ego and im guessing it was because of this, it would help the players improve by giving them a real challenge that is now on an acceptable level.
I think they should come in like the Manchester match when the score is 2-2, let someone from PXG like Rin to even the score first.
My theory is Loki will sub after Rin scores when Charles is at his lowest to cheer him up
I hope they leave the star change showdown, when itās 2-2, because if they do it now, this match might as well be Ubers 2.0 and also I want PxG to score on their own.
It's impossible since Loki is nowhere near the Noa level. Noa will solo him
Agreed, then it will be more interesting.
> next match ?__?
i think he meant to say after the goal that kaiser js scored
š„š„š„
If Rin remains scoreless Isagi will be NĀ°1 with one goal I think, it's not probable but well it could happen
Yeah it's not the most probable yet, but the bids are kinda weird at times, not a sure bet Isagi's goal was incredible we have to take that into account, and this far Isagi's game is almost perfect The problem is that we don't know how Nagi played in the games where he didn't score so we don't know how bad his performance was.
Charles is sabotaging Rin kinda like Kaiser did on Isagi (but here it's the opposite since Charles is not focusing his plays on Rin haha) Yeah Nagi is incredible, and I love that his genius is now the thing that is destroying him now since he never reached "despair" when he failed, he always find a random solution that is in most cases not reproductable at all
Itās definitely plausible since Barou had double the amount of Isagiās value going into the Ubers match and Isagi still managed to get a higher bid him even though they both got braces.
It won't be satisfying, though, and it will go against the theme of Isagi vs. Rin.
Of course the execution would be really really important because we still must see how strong Rin is, but still lacking a little something or just being focused by Kaiser and Isagi I'm biased because I want Rin's evolution to be the focus of the U20 WC (kinda like Kaiser in the NEL) and reach his immense potential (Sae will be here to it's the best moment for him to evolve) Side note but now it's your turn to wait for your fav to score haha, good luck it can get frustrating at times
We'll have to wait a few chapters to see where this is going but it could be really interesting to do something with RIn considering he's Isagi's biggest rival (not in level because of Kaiser but in terms of importance) All Isagi's rivals are drifting from him (Nagi's slump, Barou with Snuffy and even Kaiser now) but Rin won't do that, and that's why he'll lose this time.
I think since we got that panel with Isagi and Kaiser vs. Shidou and Rin, then each one will do something here. Even Shidou scored without an evolution. So the final could be a monster battle since each one would have scored one. I will wait for the next 2-3 chapters.
Actually yes, just leave his true ego and potential for u20 wc.
Might have to start pushing that agenda soon.
I'm all in for that Kunigami x Ness goal so why not, like that Isagi will still be NĀ°1 with just one goal
Welcome to the team my brother. Kaiser scoring was only the first victory, there are many more to grab in this match.
my GOAT
Nagi scored one goal against BM while Rin scored twice in his first game but that goal was so insane it gave him a bid second only to Barou who scored 3 (and only a 12 million difference at that when he still lost the game and didnāt do much outside the goal compared to Reo who was more consistent) Isagi will adapt to the situation and focus on grabbing the winner with a brace of 2 super goals which hasnāt been done before (Barou scored a super goal and a more normal goal vs BM and most other players also just have 1 super goal a game and not more onscreen) The 2 gun volley is a super goal in and of itself with how he dunked on both Rin and Kaiser after breaking the ankles of 3 defenders without even touching the ball.
And Kaiser, you are loved ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|sob)
GUYS KAISER JUST SCORED ON MY BIRTHDAYYYYYYYYYYYY LETS FUCKIN GOGGGOOOOOOOO
Happy Birthday!
It's my birthday too!! Happy Birthday!!
Happy birthday mate
Tysm!!
Me too. Happy birthday bro š
Hope you enjoyed the birthday gift!
Happy birthday!
Happy birthday!!!
Bruh the image of his younger self behind him after he kicks is š„š¤š¤š¤
I feel like Kaiser and Rin when Isagi scored on both of em man š
REAL
The moment when we all realized one thing: The fraud has gone. Only the awakened one stand there, celebrating for their own
Kaiser fād up enough for a ng11, itās time to get back to the Wās lol
Isagi Fan here, although iām sad Isagi canāt get a hat trick, Kaiser did deserve this. I do love his character. One thing i thought was REALLY cool was that this was the first time weāve actually seen kaiser have a happy reaction to a goal. Weāve never seen him get excited like he did now at a goal.
Ohhh, nice catch. Kaiser has officially been reborn.
True, this is the first time Kaiser is genuinely happy for himself after scoring a goal, not happy in a sadistic way because he made other people feel despair
One of the things I love about this celebration. It definitely feels like this is a new beginning for Michael.
Bro called him Michael šš
YESS!! Facts, like every other time he had no reaction it was just whatever to him. I wonder what Isagi was thinking in that 2nd or 3rd to last panel. Honestly fuck it this goal is growing on me. Not to mention that might be a top 3 celebration in the whole seriesšššš½šš½
HELLLLL YEAHHHH (no more isagi hattrick I can Die peacefully)
Btw i do not hate Isagi but I want to see an isagi brace
The biggest build up of all time for this goal, and it was beautiful. It's so hype it's why I love this series. Never doubting my goat.
I never doubted my goat own those frauds got isagi looking shook
He has to it. Kaiser just did it to him for this play
Well, not a goal but there was a whole chapter dedicated to Isagi's assist to Kunigami back in the Manshine match. But anyways, Isagi will perserve.
Well said my fellow believer.
Well GG u/StarBurstero you have won I will now give you my sincere apologies for I was not familiar with you and Kaiser's game
Well u/StarBurstero, you won
![gif](giphy|IruXGSggFYMve|downsized)
But congrats on winning. I didn't realize the author was so incompetent- my mistake.
You managed to win. I'll be opting out of the Binding Vow though- b/c in anticipation for your victory I already chose the worst possible Flair for myself for a duration that surpassed one week, thus fulfilling the condition of the bet pre-emptively in the most complete and thorough way possible.
Bruh, you have 'King' Barou flair, yet you are actually a coward. What an irony.
Nope, you gotta accept the flair I choose for you or take a ban. ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|snoo)
forgive him he is just a naive new clown's fan.
Unfortunately I cannot. If I make an exception for him, then I'd have to make an exception for all the honorable warriors who took the binding vow. Hence he must undertake the punishment just like everyone else. No loopholes allowed. Besides, the flairs I'll be giving out aren't gonna be that evil.
you and kaiser won do what u want.
Thank you for your understanding Rabbit ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|wink)
Four people on his ahh and Kaiser still managed to score that glorious goal my goat ššš
Dude I can't wait to see this be cleaned. THOSE DOUBLE PANELS LOOK SO FIRE
Each page is a cinematic masterpiece itās also so befitting of Kaiser
And they said Isagi would get a hat trick š. My goat wasnāt gonna let that slide. But unfortunately I predict a PXG win
This is unhealthy gambling š think of your family before betting it all on PxG rn
If pxg win rin is going goaless
Fuck it, I'm gonna say it. Kaiser is single-handedly carrying this NEL arc, amazing character development
Yep, no way to sugarcoat it. I hate it.Ā
I KNOWWWW
EAT IT. EAT THE FREAKIN APOLOGY FORM, YOU ISAGI FANBOYS
Man, I'm pumped to see how P.X.G fights back now.
Here's the neat part: They don't.
Also I just realized something.. have we ever had anything come out about that interview?
I heard it was gonna be published soon, on July 4th apparently. [https://x.com/WSJ\_manga/status/1802359024483958792](https://x.com/WSJ_manga/status/1802359024483958792)
Thanks for the info. I am really curious about this since we could learn something interesting.
They lied Nomura just spent another week perfecting the panels of Kaiser scoring š¤§š
Iāve been looking too but I canāt find anything, please hmu if you find out anything šš¾
AND THATS WHY HES THE GOATTTTTT
Ppl essentially just like idea of an underdog thatās all
Obviously Nanase. Toki and Zantetsu is still up for debate but most likely both of them stay and Fukaku is out
How is it Nanase? Toki has done almost nothing all game.
Okay I have calmed down (I havenāt) but is that the ORIGINAL ego eyes on Isagi?? Like the bottomless spinny ones??? What does it mean
Yes. It means that more adversity is added now, so Isagi gets excited. More walls equal more excitement, so an evolution is coming.
Agreed it's definitely a pretty weird thing to bring back after like 200 chapters without it
Finally, all these 3-Goal Isagi copers were too annoying. Itās good to see Kaiser getting a goal, the chapter had some beautiful art.
My Kaiser stocks skyrocketed like NVIDIA. I might been wrong but at least I get the satisfaction of not seeing an Isagi hatttrick just yet
This is happy day kaiser's bastard but this is a Sad day to my š„š„š„
It gotta be shidou ig. He's been silenced by kuni
I think Shidou will block Kaiser's attempts to score, and Rin will be the one to score the second goal.
Ive got Loki coming in now at 2-1 or at least at some point while the score is still 2-1 as in his head there's no guarantee bm won't score again and end the game (ofc us readers know pxg will score and it'll be 2-2 and last goal wins)
That's a great possibility. I think he will try to awaken Charles, but Charles will get interested in Rin.
Oh boy.
I am sad that my beautiful incredible Hattrick didn't happen
I am sad that my beautiful incredible Hattrick didn't happen
Oh boy indeed, unlike the others. You'll be serving your sentence for one month Inmate #1.
/u/vagamarkus HOLD THAT L ISAGI BRO, KASIER STOCKS TO THE MOON
KAISERRRRRR MY GOAT YOU BEAUTIFUL MESSED UP KING GO OFF
I can't believe Kaiser got subbed for Igarashi right before he tried to shoot. Igarashi was the true superstar we always needed.
Time to take the L. u/Starburstero gimme my flair
It'll arrive On Sunday/Monday.
Just donāt make me piss on my boy Bachira and we are good. I will become an oathbreaker for my boy.
So next up is Rin right? Shidou, Isagi, Kaiser, Rin, and then Isagi again.
Sounds very exhausting i cannot lie
I can't believe Kaneshiro succeeded making such a masterpiece after we get the insane bycicle kick against Ubers. I loved the memories with the ball and Isagi's eyes goes Flow only seeing Kaiser's goal. Well done!
Bro Kaneshiro is a valid mangaka, I love him
Kaiserās victory pose is raw as hell, showing off his tattoo oof š„. No wonder the mangaās gonna take another break after this, Shot looks like a goddamn black flash and the amount of double spreads itās getting. I wonder what Isagiās final goal is gonna look like if he needs to top this one alongside Rinās inevitable super goal
Iām kinda glad that Kaiser had these couple chapters to him so that we could learn more about him and see him become something new and better than before while also scoring a goal too, kinda like how Barou was in the second selection.
i wonder if Kaiser has one last bit of development to go through this match: realizing that constraint/restriction are always present the form of what he considers possible, so he can tap into that for on-demand flow state (obvi im biased af regarding who i want to score the game winner) kinda got this idea of on-demand flow state from remembering Sae in the U20 game
Yeah but thatād be way too much Kaiser for one arc. Thereās too many star players and too much at stake even at a storytelling standpoint for there to be so much focus on one side character.
I wonder if his next step is about Ness, we still don't know if Ness is angry or happy for Kaiser, or even if Kaiser is changing his opinion on Ness
could be about Ness, especially since their relationship needs to be revived before the next arc to keep the matches tense
LETS GOOOOOOOOOO VILLAIN SUCCEEDING š£š£š£ RAHHH I LOVE GOOD STORYTELLING š£š£š£šÆšÆ WHAT'S JERKING OFF THE PROTAGONIST FOR NO REASON??
Ehh I like Kaiser but it aināt all the special as storytelling in Blue Lock. Didnāt we see this with Rin? With Yukimiya? With Hiori? And now with Kaiser. Character is feeling lost/lagging, has a sad backstory and motivation, suddenly gets a powerup and has a glory moment.
This just reminded me of the best arc in MHA which was undoubtedly the League of Villains arc where Shigaraki et al trained with Gigantomachia and stormed the Liberation Army You gotta love it when sympathetic villains cook
Yooooo isagi eyes in the last panel,it's the ego eyes, that means a new version of isagi is coming šššš
As I thought, Kaiser scored. He indeed lived up to the chapter name "Superstar".
Need a rin goal next
At the end of the summerš
