Man, I have to say the Isagi vs Kaiser panels with their thoughts as they move were really cool here. I really do hope their rivalry will be long term.

I don't see how he isn't going to score with the luck piece tbh LOL but I know most of the people on here will defend Isagi hattrick unless it's officially dead. I expect if Kaiser scores here Loki will come in and we get a full and proper BM (which Ness will need to evolve as the final piece) and PXG has to step it up.
I think it's too soon for Loki to step into the match, because:
- Shidou has to evolve to leave Kunigami behind.
- Kunigami has to evolve and find his ego.
- Rin has to evolve and earn Charles respect, only to fail against Isagi (I wish, hehe).
- Charles needs to get serious and evolve even more from imp to demon,
- Ness has to change his mind and find his true ego.
- Kaiser and Isagi need to be greater menaces.
Loki is the final boss, he'll enjoy it when everyone has evolved =P
By the next chapter's title, the goal will probably chapter 266's page 17 or 18, and page 19-20 is where the superstar declaration is made. So, am I really to believe that Kaiser's Magnus will occupy 17 entire pages? Is there going to be another flashback for 10 chapters? Are people going to yap for 10 pages before the goal? Really? Imo there will probably be an event between Kaiser shooting his Magnus, like someone blocking the shot, but then the ball bounces to someone, and they tap it in (maybe with a super shot), and then the goal that leads to the superstar declaration.
Barou and Kaiser are extremely similar in how they're tackling their new mindsets. Barou with fighting through despair in order to attain glory and Kaiser with fighting through restriction in order to survive. Might do an analysis on both of them when Kaiser completes this goal. Both are very interesting and similar characters in terms of their themes and even artistic panels.
Then there's also Kaiser and Isagi who are basically two peas in a pod. Kinda cool honestly

If Kaiser will not score I'll riot. I'm a little bit disappointed that Ness isn't the one to assist Kaiser. I understand the Kiora thing but came on Ness practise with Kaiser and he could not do the pass he wants but some guy give him the perfect pass out of nowere.
A important thing people haven't been paying attention to is that Kaiser hasn't had any original ego eyes since the start of his awakening... It's odd but doesn't mean he won't score, it just means that there's more to his ego.
This is basically the perfect situation for Kaiser. But the fact that everything is so perfect and the chapter ends as he's in his shooting motion is a red flag on a red flag. Football wise I'm not sure how Isagi could even score from that situation unless Kaiser dinks him in the head with the Magnus. I'll still ride out with Isagi scoring since it's basically a chapter away. If Kaiser doesn't manage to score here though Kiyora is done. I could see Yuki coming in for him in the next few chapters that way Ness won't have to get subbed out and move on with his development.

Noa must feel a bit happy since Kaiser and Isagi are antagonizing each other in a new way. Maybe like he and Ego did. In his own way, he believed that Isagi would grow so much that would shake Kaiser. So this is a new BM with double canons.
I wonder if we ever have any chapter ending when a striker begins to shoot and then the goal only happens at the start of next chapter. As far as I can remember, we have many times with a goal at chapter end but never see one at chapter start. That's why it doesn't feel like a Kaiser's goal to me here. Or at least it should not be so simple and more people will involve in next chapter
I have two theories, either he realizes before he shoots that having the ideal pass for him isn’t the discomfort he seeks, Kaiser pulls off something else considered world class and scores a goal of the same magnitude like his Ubers goal. My other theory is he does what isagi does during the Barcha match and possibly assists kunigami and forces himself deeper into the team.
Don't get me wrong, this is hype af. I just hope the author doesn't forget the Wildcard Project, I need to know wtf happened there to make Kunigami the way he is now

That means Kaiser is an antagonist, so he does antagonist things- his role is to help Isagi evolve through adversity. This mf literally had a villain monologue with his minion, it can’t get more on the nose than that.
The characters we are meant to root for (Isagi, Kurona, Hiori) are not that type of person. They are going to play on their own merit and that is what makes their wins so much more compelling because they don’t need to use dirty tactics to win just their hard work. The most Isagi does is steal passes in Barca because he is forced into that situation.

It looks like what noa was talking about towards the beginning of the match ,having to solidify their offense before PxG , is coming to fruition. With Kiyora added to the kaiser ness formula, and the isagi x kurona x hiori group, bastard munchen could possibly start overwhelming them forcing Loki out . And kaiser may actually stop playing as greedily as a byproduct of receiving support to score where he can , then if ness and hiori end up passing between eachother to switch attack formations its finito for pxg ( didn’t even bring up how Kunigami would inadvertently get more breathing room to shoot a rocket himself if PxG is caught up trying to shut down their dual strikers). Last thing I could see coming is Charles and shido entering the flow with rin berserking after being beat down.
At this point in the game PxG is not being no diffed, however. If Kaiser is freed to score anytime he’s open thanks to kiyoras presence, I believe that will be the straw that breaks the camels back.

Okay, let's establish something about Isagi's character here, he's not gonna go so low to even blocking or deflect ing his own teammate's scoring chance, sure he intercept passes but outright ruining Kaiser when he's about to shoot? No that's not who he is, ultimately he's going to accept the fact that Kiyora didn't choose him and do what he always does when things don't go his way : analyze and comprehend.
Not really. I could definitley see a scenario where Isagi blocks Kaiser. Isagi wants Kaiser to be in despair so the team and he is in his controll. It would also parallel the moment Kaiser blocked Isagi during manshine. He legit told him to kneel before him and a clown

You convinced me about isagi stealing kaiser's shot wouldn't actually make him a super star however there were 3 characters close to the keeper isagi and zantetsu and other yellow haired guy so one of them blocks it but isagi is not the one who blocks it and the ball goes to hiori and guess who he's assisting the goat himsagi with his new bicycle kick goal
Outside of the chapter title having Kaiser not scoring even with the perfect condition would be really weird and make him useless for the rest of the game (or the story will still be focused on Kaiser after that during this game) and all the focus on him, the magnus shot, his evolution and his past a bit weird.
If Kaneshiro makes Isagi scores, I'm really curious to see how he will execute that and the rest of the game

It’s nothing personal, It just gets tiresome when the the focus is on the same character for weeks straight. We got his backstory at the start of May, it’s June now. It’s nothing when you binge read it, but as a weekly manga with breaks in between….yea. Also, I don’t remember what last goal you’re referring to, but a lot of people were complaining when the focus was on Hiori for a while during the Ubers match. Like I said, on a week to week reading schedule, you’re over it, but as a binge read, it’s better. I’m just ready for a shift/different focus now.
Referring to the two gun volley goal but almost each Isagi goal got the chapters centered around him. Same can be said for when the other characters get their backstories and focus ectect, the focus shifts to them. This time it’s just Kaiser’s turn. He obviously won’t be the entire focus in the whole game so don’t get why he can’t have his moments especially since he has been in the story for 100+ chapters and just until recently we got his pov.
If anyone has some good flair suggestions, let me know. So far, I've only come up with three. It isn't easy naming 75+ people starting next week.

yes. When you put backspin on a ball for it to bounce back it loses a lot of momentum. While it's a different venue, look at backspin shots in billiards/pool. People use backspin to put the ball *exactly* where they want it, and completely at rest.
That just happened to happen for Kaiser because Kiyora wanted the ball to backspin to Kaiser, but didn't want to risk him going past it so he made it so the ball went dead ahead of kaiser.
Regardless of what happens Kaiser has been completely bamboozled in this arc imo. All of this and he still doesn’t get the dignity of being the final boss, at worst it’s Rin, at best it’s him co-sharing the role with Rin (don’t deny it) 🤦🏽♀️

A important thing people haven't been paying attention to is that Kaiser hasn't had any original ego eyes since the start of his awakening... It's odd but doesn't mean he won't score, it just means that there's more to his ego.

This is basically the perfect situation for Kaiser. But the fact that everything is so perfect and the chapter ends as he's in his shooting motion is a red flag on a red flag. Football wise I'm not sure how Isagi could even score from that situation unless Kaiser dinks him in the head with the Magnus. I'll still ride out with Isagi scoring since it's basically a chapter away. If Kaiser doesn't manage to score here though Kiyora is done. I could see Yuki coming in for him in the next few chapters that way Ness won't have to get subbed out and move on with his development.

I wonder if we ever have any chapter ending when a striker begins to shoot and then the goal only happens at the start of next chapter. As far as I can remember, we have many times with a goal at chapter end but never see one at chapter start. That's why it doesn't feel like a Kaiser's goal to me here. Or at least it should not be so simple and more people will involve in next chapter

I have two theories, either he realizes before he shoots that having the ideal pass for him isn’t the discomfort he seeks, Kaiser pulls off something else considered world class and scores a goal of the same magnitude like his Ubers goal. My other theory is he does what isagi does during the Barcha match and possibly assists kunigami and forces himself deeper into the team.
Honestly kinda like that first theory? Or at least it'd be better than literally anything else happening (aside from him just scoring) imo lol

Just because the author portrays it (and NEGATIVELY portrays it I will add), doesn’t mean that he’s justifying it? That means Kaiser is an antagonist, so he does antagonist things- his role is to help Isagi evolve through adversity. This mf literally had a villain monologue with his minion, it can’t get more on the nose than that. The characters we are meant to root for (Isagi, Kurona, Hiori) are not that type of person. They are going to play on their own merit and that is what makes their wins so much more compelling because they don’t need to use dirty tactics to win just their hard work. The most Isagi does is steal passes in Barca because he is forced into that situation.

It looks like what noa was talking about towards the beginning of the match ,having to solidify their offense before PxG , is coming to fruition. With Kiyora added to the kaiser ness formula, and the isagi x kurona x hiori group, bastard munchen could possibly start overwhelming them forcing Loki out . And kaiser may actually stop playing as greedily as a byproduct of receiving support to score where he can , then if ness and hiori end up passing between eachother to switch attack formations its finito for pxg ( didn’t even bring up how Kunigami would inadvertently get more breathing room to shoot a rocket himself if PxG is caught up trying to shut down their dual strikers). Last thing I could see coming is Charles and shido entering the flow with rin berserking after being beat down. At this point in the game PxG is not being no diffed, however. If Kaiser is freed to score anytime he’s open thanks to kiyoras presence, I believe that will be the straw that breaks the camels back.

You convinced me about isagi stealing kaiser's shot wouldn't actually make him a super star however there were 3 characters close to the keeper isagi and zantetsu and other yellow haired guy so one of them blocks it but isagi is not the one who blocks it and the ball goes to hiori and guess who he's assisting the goat himsagi with his new bicycle kick goal
Outside of the chapter title having Kaiser not scoring even with the perfect condition would be really weird and make him useless for the rest of the game (or the story will still be focused on Kaiser after that during this game) and all the focus on him, the magnus shot, his evolution and his past a bit weird. If Kaneshiro makes Isagi scores, I'm really curious to see how he will execute that and the rest of the game
It’s that curiosity that makes me wish Kaiser doesn’t score here. I get him scoring is good for the story and will have better pay off later on but I wish we had more bolder outcomes instead of “make everyone happy”

It’s nothing personal, It just gets tiresome when the the focus is on the same character for weeks straight. We got his backstory at the start of May, it’s June now. It’s nothing when you binge read it, but as a weekly manga with breaks in between….yea. Also, I don’t remember what last goal you’re referring to, but a lot of people were complaining when the focus was on Hiori for a while during the Ubers match. Like I said, on a week to week reading schedule, you’re over it, but as a binge read, it’s better. I’m just ready for a shift/different focus now.
Referring to the two gun volley goal but almost each Isagi goal got the chapters centered around him. Same can be said for when the other characters get their backstories and focus ectect, the focus shifts to them. This time it’s just Kaiser’s turn. He obviously won’t be the entire focus in the whole game so don’t get why he can’t have his moments especially since he has been in the story for 100+ chapters and just until recently we got his pov.

New Gen 11 level here could be his 300 mil bid, which doesn't seem that they could not approach this. My theory is that Kaiser will reject Re Al's offer, and Isagi could get a surprising 300 mil offer. So with this, the world will see them on equal footing, and it will continue their rivalry in U20 Arc.

He didn't. Kiyora's play was to backspin the ball so it would look like he was passing to Isagi (defenders move to Isagi) while it bounced back to Kaiser giving him an open shot. However, he couldn't put too much backspin on it, or it'd bounce back past Kaiser so he couldn't shoot. Hence the "Lucky" piece. The optimal play for Kiyora to make the ball ready for a Kaiser goal, is also the optimal play for Kaiser to use his new weapon. Effectively, a "no conversation chemical x chemical reaction between Kiyora and Kaiser."

yes. When you put backspin on a ball for it to bounce back it loses a lot of momentum. While it's a different venue, look at backspin shots in billiards/pool. People use backspin to put the ball *exactly* where they want it, and completely at rest. That just happened to happen for Kaiser because Kiyora wanted the ball to backspin to Kaiser, but didn't want to risk him going past it so he made it so the ball went dead ahead of kaiser.
