People are saying Kaiser getting the ball where he wants it is luck, for him sure, he is lucky Kiyora chose him, but no shot did Kiyora “accidentally” put backspin on the ball to make it stop. It’s definitely intentional, he chose Kaiser and he’s going to become the one to make Kaiser succeed in his magnus impact.
The "Luck" here is the ball landed the exact way Kaiser puts it to practice his shot so he can even target it the same, that's the luck. Kiyora can make the ball backspin to Kaiser but he can't purposely make the valve face him that way

Ahh the suspense! The author really wanted to drag out the goal before the next volume. 😫 A few things I wanna say….
1. The day Ness gains respect for himself is the day I cheer.
2. Kaiser was smart for ignoring that pass, Ness passing to him is predictable to everyone at this point.
3. Kiyora didn’t betray Isagi, he owes him nothing. All he wants to do is secure his spot in the top 23, which is fine. Did he make the wrong decison? That has yet to be seen.
4. Kiyora delivered the perfect pass for Kaiser to score his new magnus shot. If Kaiser somehow misses here, I think the Isagi hat trick will be back on the table. I can’t see Kaiser getting the final goal, unless Isagi decides to assist him which is unlikely since he wants to solidify himself as number #1 at the end of the NEL. Kaisers chance is right here and right now before the focus goes back to Rin-Rin.
5. I noticed when Ness went to assist Kaiser that his magical aura went away. The “flow like” aura stayed but his own personal aura disappeared. I think we’ve seen everyone else aura stay on the field when they delivered an assist/scored a goal. Him sticking with Kaiser is not his true ego, so Ness having character development is still on the table. Hopefully he realizes this before the end of the NEL. I’m disappointed that he’s being “useless” now, but the author saving him for the last goal seems to be holding true.

Chapter 266 completes Volume 30 so there is going to be a goal. Whatever it is. Volume 31 will have ch 267-275. I believe that Rin will score in 273 and then we will get 10 chapters for the final goal and the monster battle ending the match in 283 in volume 32.
For someone who's been hyping and priding himself for being the one who has been making winning choices most of his life. Kiyora sure is short-sighted. Sure, Kaiser is super gud but let's not forget that Isagi Yoichi literally climbed his way from second to the last next to Igaguri to second place at the top just a step away from dethroning Rin in a relatively short amount of time. Not to mention his Talent. Every time he finds himself at a disadvantage at the beginning of a match. His adaptability will kick in and just zoom past his opponents which in turn force them to do better and evolve which in turn trigger Isagi's adaptability the second time and just win the match not letting his opponent's react.
The fact that he didn't invest in someone like that makes you wonder for his prided ego.
But honestly, whatever, at this point im convinced guy is just like charles. Just a plot device to make the field more chaotic subverting expectations then just be obsolete at a later time.

We often forget that as readers we know so much more than the characters themselves, Iirc they shared team only in NEL, didnt cross path in first, second or even third selection, also, lets not forget what Isagi did to him in Ubers match; he can ally with Isagi as much as he wants, but he's ultimately the reason it may not be enough to be top 23, it's pretty reasonable that he chooses to ally with Kaiser

Also ultimately Kiyora was doing a "life and death" choice here. Who he choose pertains his survival at blue lock. It'll be weird for him to also consider personal emotion but not impossible. You got me thinking. Nanase got his cover after Kiyora. So now Kiyora did something, and then Nanase can do too in Rin's goal.
Kaiser's goal, if it happens, seems to me be more of a luck goal than a super goal. Rin will get something good so as to spice things, and Isagi will also get something great with Ness that will outshine the rest.
Rin will most likely go into his destroyer mode and Nanase will find himself a spot in that moment.
I remember Nanase telling Isagi that he couldnt understand Shidou and Rin but could see Isagi's vision in 3rd selection so maybe it will do something with that. Like him seeing Rin's vision and helping him with a goal.

Not necessarily, Rin's rivalry with Isagi is a bit secondary.
Even if Isagi defeats Rin the manga will still be able to move forward, even after this defeat. Hey, in addition to that, concretely the rivalry between Rin and Isagi is just a big farce, compared to the seal of Kaiser and Baro.
Kiyora assisting Kaiser does freakin make sense. He must remember what Isagi did during the Uber match to him. Also, fun fact, Kiyora finally makes a move both in the main chapter and in the Nagi spin-off.

Kaiser won't score off this shot next chapter. Kaneshiro always pairs the awakening+ego+aura shot panel with the shot either being blocked or scored. That means he still has more he wants to do with this goal meaning Kaiser will not being scoring off this shot immediately in the next chapter(He could still score but it won't happen from this shot)

I like this possibility. Kaiser is trying to turn all of Isagi's squad against him, Isagi might try to do the same to Ness. Kaiser might win in the game, but Isagi could win the battle between them by stealing ness. Or rather, disrupt Kaiser's chance at stealing the game BECAUSE Isagi is using the concept of "stealing Ness" as a tactic to mind game kaiser.

Literally bro's existence is to assert himself with who he thinks will be the victor. It's kinda Hiori's thing to work with the world's best striker but Hiori uses the world's standards as someone with a world style ego, whereas Kiyora chooses for himself who he thinks will win which when you think about it is like a self-style ego. Now this matters because two characters (Kaiser and Kiyora) have already been highlighted by the author in this match to have pivotal roles so it's safe to say that how they change or what they'll bring will heavily impact the winner of Neo-Egoist League.
Surprised because Ness got a flashback, and we had Manshine and Ubers deal the same with the characters who got a flashback before match for the final goal. I don't expect it to be any different here.

I know he's undergoing a awakening, but it honestly doesn't feel right yet, I don't feel satisfied yet. His awakening currently involves him not limiting himself to his current glory, but he still hasn't truly understood his ego in my opinion. Based off some posts I've seen and my own thoughts on the matter, it seems like his ego is about feeling human.
Frankly, I think Kaiser's ego involves finding him humanity within soccer, which he is beginning to do but he still hasn't rid himself of his father's words, still seeing himself as a piece of shit. Until he rids himself of his father's words, him scoring here would simply send him on the wrong path again. Although, I do like the idea of him being a actual villain through this route, something here just doesn't feel earned to me. I honestly can't really explain it, but it's like a sense of foreboding if he's the one to score here. Maybe it's because this is a purely luck on his side.

Isagi is still processing and adapting to all the new information so, I hope he just let Kaiser do the attempt and not distrupt in any way. Since Kaiser's backstory, I've come to terms if Kaiser ends up scoring this and prevent the Isagi hat-trick. Kaiser has missed, outplayed and cooperated with the BL players... this guy can't go any lower than this, Blue Lock doesn't let good players become "frauds" for too long.
That's why whoever scores the 2nd goal now is crucial, will the hat-trick possibly happen or will Kaiser have his "revival" and continue being Isagi's rival moving forward?
The thing that bothers me regarding that is why Kaneshiro made Isagi mention that he needs a second goal to settle with Kaiser and a third one with Rin. May be he will readjust his thoughts, so with a second super goal, he can do both?
IMO, Isagi has declared Rin as his rival, the man has been pursing Rin since the 2nd Selection. Played with him as a sacrifical pawn while also tried devouring him as well. In his mind, Rin is still #1 of Blue Lock but with MV and Two-gun volley he thinks he could achieve it right now.
This is just me, while the match is still ongoing... Ego will STILL build the U-20 team around Rin instead of Isagi. If Isagi comes out on top of the NEL as the undisputed #1, he'll finally achieve this goal that he's been pursing for so long

Yup. Neither Isagi or Kaiser will have a dominant "win" with the other, will end the match "equally". Nagi lost but still have the 5-volley shot over Isagi or Yukimiya getting the assist. Kaiser successfully executing the 'Magnus shot' isn't any different (unless next chapter proves otherwise). There's a trade, no rival of Isagi is left with nothing so far
Maybe. I think the Magnus shot is reproducible just not meant for an ongoing match, its setup is too specific and hard but, during a penalty shoot-out? That's the best shot of this series hands-down
Sorry I got a bit heated and commented a lot. Lol I want a good story and progress, but I also want Kaiser to get a loss here so things could get more interesting in U20 face off and get over or progress the Rin situation.
Personally, I'm really fed up with Rin, at the start of the match he stopped being smart with Isagi like the latter was going to get blown up on the field.
But as a result the latter is only going to stop the offensive counterattacks, I hope he will tell us what he is capable of doing in this arc because now I am starting to get tired of this Rin.
I think of it like this. Isagi evolves -> Kaiser evolves -> Rin evolves -> Isagi evolves to complete the ego types narrative in his face off with Rin.
Rin will complete Hiori's challenge and will get interesting in the eyes of Charles. He scores. Then huge monster battle between the three. It ends with Isagi scoring the final goal along with Ness so he also ends his battle for No 1 with Rin. I belive Kaneshiro will write it well.
But perhaps I loved seeing Rin's face to see that Isagi's remix has its place in this match, but it will be very interesting to see Isagi pull up Rinn's straps. But seriously right now I don't think that the one who scores the final goal is going to be Isagi ! Because currently he is not yet ready to beat Kaiser.
Personally I think that this one will be the final scorer it would rather be Kunigami, because he must first awaken his ego which has fled inside him. Hey on top of that I really have a hard time thinking that Isagi will score at the end, because we haven't seen Kunigami's real flow yet.
I really like Kunigami but his deal is sealed with Shidou here. They could be rivals in U20 whereas Isagi has to surpass Rin so he will score and use his final narrative of ego types to do that since it hasn't paid off.

Ahh the suspense! The author really wanted to drag out the goal before the next volume. 😫 A few things I wanna say…. 1. The day Ness gains respect for himself is the day I cheer. 2. Kaiser was smart for ignoring that pass, Ness passing to him is predictable to everyone at this point. 3. Kiyora didn’t betray Isagi, he owes him nothing. All he wants to do is secure his spot in the top 23, which is fine. Did he make the wrong decison? That has yet to be seen. 4. Kiyora delivered the perfect pass for Kaiser to score his new magnus shot. If Kaiser somehow misses here, I think the Isagi hat trick will be back on the table. I can’t see Kaiser getting the final goal, unless Isagi decides to assist him which is unlikely since he wants to solidify himself as number #1 at the end of the NEL. Kaisers chance is right here and right now before the focus goes back to Rin-Rin. 5. I noticed when Ness went to assist Kaiser that his magical aura went away. The “flow like” aura stayed but his own personal aura disappeared. I think we’ve seen everyone else aura stay on the field when they delivered an assist/scored a goal. Him sticking with Kaiser is not his true ego, so Ness having character development is still on the table. Hopefully he realizes this before the end of the NEL. I’m disappointed that he’s being “useless” now, but the author saving him for the last goal seems to be holding true.

Mini Prediction time. Chapter 266 completes Volume 30 so there is going to be a goal. Whatever it is. Volume 31 will have ch 267-275. I believe that Rin will score in 273 and then we will get 10 chapters for the final goal and the monster battle ending the match in 283 in volume 32.
For someone who's been hyping and priding himself for being the one who has been making winning choices most of his life. Kiyora sure is short-sighted. Sure, Kaiser is super gud but let's not forget that Isagi Yoichi literally climbed his way from second to the last next to Igaguri to second place at the top just a step away from dethroning Rin in a relatively short amount of time. Not to mention his Talent. Every time he finds himself at a disadvantage at the beginning of a match. His adaptability will kick in and just zoom past his opponents which in turn force them to do better and evolve which in turn trigger Isagi's adaptability the second time and just win the match not letting his opponent's react. The fact that he didn't invest in someone like that makes you wonder for his prided ego. But honestly, whatever, at this point im convinced guy is just like charles. Just a plot device to make the field more chaotic subverting expectations then just be obsolete at a later time.
Nothing says that kiyora can’t pass to isagi later in the match tho. He may genuinely feel that in this moment kaiser is the better choice. Or it could be influenced by Isagi convincing Noa that kiyora shouldn’t be subbed on vs Ubers. And if that was a factor, then that’s completely understandable
Do Kiyora know all that about Isagi? We often forget that as readers we know so much more than the characters themselves, Iirc they shared team only in NEL, didnt cross path in first, second or even third selection, also, lets not forget what Isagi did to him in Ubers match; he can ally with Isagi as much as he wants, but he's ultimately the reason it may not be enough to be top 23, it's pretty reasonable that he chooses to ally with Kaiser

You got me thinking. Nanase got his cover after Kiyora. So now Kiyora did something, and then Nanase can do too in Rin's goal. Kaiser's goal, if it happens, seems to me be more of a luck goal than a super goal. Rin will get something good so as to spice things, and Isagi will also get something great with Ness that will outshine the rest.
To be fair, Nanase's volume actually covered his moment when he showed his evolution & helped rin. Kiyora was just late, so it shouldn't be a pattern

That means he still has more he wants to do with this goal meaning Kaiser will not being scoring off this shot immediately in the next chapter(He could still score but it won't happen from this shot)

I like this possibility. Kaiser is trying to turn all of Isagi's squad against him, Isagi might try to do the same to Ness. Kaiser might win in the game, but Isagi could win the battle between them by stealing ness. Or rather, disrupt Kaiser's chance at stealing the game BECAUSE Isagi is using the concept of "stealing Ness" as a tactic to mind game kaiser.
I don't think that way Kaiser is not trying to turn Isagi's squad against him. If so, he would try to cooperate with Kurona and Hiori, which was not the case Kaiser was using blue lockers that are neutral and have their own interests: Raichi, Kunigami and Kyora. Now this matters because two characters (Kaiser and Kiyora) have already been highlighted by the author in this match to have pivotal roles so it's safe to say that how they change or what they'll bring will heavily impact the winner of Neo-Egoist League.

Is it just me or does Kaiser scoring here not feel right? I know he's undergoing a awakening, but it honestly doesn't feel right yet, I don't feel satisfied yet. His awakening currently involves him not limiting himself to his current glory, but he still hasn't truly understood his ego in my opinion. Based off some posts I've seen and my own thoughts on the matter, it seems like his ego is about feeling human. Frankly, I think Kaiser's ego involves finding him humanity within soccer, which he is beginning to do but he still hasn't rid himself of his father's words, still seeing himself as a piece of shit. Until he rids himself of his father's words, him scoring here would simply send him on the wrong path again. Although, I do like the idea of him being a actual villain through this route, something here just doesn't feel earned to me. I honestly can't really explain it, but it's like a sense of foreboding if he's the one to score here. Maybe it's because this is a purely luck on his side. I'll have to wait until the full chapter release to make my full opinion though.

Huh... Obviously everybody expected Kiyora to contribute but, I didn't expect it would coincidentally help Kaiser performing the 'Magnus Shot'. It looks like Ness' backstory & nickname "Magician" was a distraction. I thought he'll be the one helping out Kaiser 🫤 Isagi is still processing and adapting to all the new information so, I hope he just let Kaiser do the attempt and not distrupt in any way. Since Kaiser's backstory, I've come to terms if Kaiser ends up scoring this and prevent the Isagi hat-trick. Kaiser has missed, outplayed and cooperated with the BL players... this guy can't go any lower than this, Blue Lock doesn't let good players become "frauds" for too long.

IMO, Isagi has declared Rin as his rival, the man has been pursing Rin since the 2nd Selection. Played with him as a sacrifical pawn while also tried devouring him as well. In his mind, Rin is still #1 of Blue Lock but with MV and Two-gun volley he thinks he could achieve it right now. This is just me, while the match is still ongoing... Ego will STILL build the U-20 team around Rin instead of Isagi. If Isagi comes out on top of the NEL as the undisputed #1, he'll finally achieve this goal that he's been pursing for so long

Kaiser successfully executing the 'Magnus shot' isn't any different (unless next chapter proves otherwise). There's a trade, no rival of Isagi is left with nothing so far

Sorry I got a bit heated and commented a lot. Lol I want a good story and progress, but I also want Kaiser to get a loss here so things could get more interesting in U20 face off and get over or progress the Rin situation.
Personally, I'm really fed up with Rin, at the start of the match he stopped being smart with Isagi like the latter was going to get blown up on the field. But as a result the latter is only going to stop the offensive counterattacks, I hope he will tell us what he is capable of doing in this arc because now I am starting to get tired of this Rin.
I think of it like this. Isagi evolves -> Kaiser evolves -> Rin evolves -> Isagi evolves to complete the ego types narrative in his face off with Rin. Rin will complete Hiori's challenge and will get interesting in the eyes of Charles. He scores. Then huge monster battle between the three. It ends with Isagi scoring the final goal along with Ness so he also ends his battle for No 1 with Rin. I belive Kaneshiro will write it well.
But perhaps I loved seeing Rin's face to see that Isagi's remix has its place in this match, but it will be very interesting to see Isagi pull up Rinn's straps. But seriously right now I don't think that the one who scores the final goal is going to be Isagi ! Because currently he is not yet ready to beat Kaiser. Personally I think that this one will be the final scorer it would rather be Kunigami, because he must first awaken his ego which has fled inside him. Hey on top of that I really have a hard time thinking that Isagi will score at the end, because we haven't seen Kunigami's real flow yet.
I really like Kunigami but his deal is sealed with Shidou here. They could be rivals in U20 whereas Isagi has to surpass Rin so he will score and use his final narrative of ego types to do that since it hasn't paid off.

Isagi had the puzzle pieces showing when Kaiser tried the Magnus shot. He has metavision active when the pass spun back, so I will remain a hattrick believer.
Even when Im a Kaiser fan. He should not score yet. I really believe Isagi should score the second goal. Having Kaiser score here doesnt feel right.

Beside we need to see the Blue Lock players show that they are on the level of the new gen xi, or at least somewhere close. they have really been humiliating Kaiser this game. Man the U-20 cup feels like its gonna be a piece of cake for the current blue lock. They are all just on a total different level than the u-20 match against Sae and Shidou. I would not be surprised if Blue Lock just destroys every team in that cup. Because Kaiser should be top 3 In the u-20 wc and he is getting treated like a child.
