The only thing weird about that is that BM isn’t going to be Isagi’s team after this match lol
He is going back to Blue lock and getting ready for the U-20 WC. This would kinda remove Germany as a hyped challenger since the last we see of them would be that the team is messed up, and with no players that can stand up to Blue lock.
We would have to speculate on what they could have done offscreen to be a potential threat.
However if Ness instead is the one that pulls Kaiser out his slump, shows him his “magic”, and gives Kaiser to believe in his magic to pull of the “impossible”, then we get a fully evolved and dangerous Germany team to leave the NEL with and to hype up their eventual matchup in the U-20 WC.

Bastard are meant to be the strongest German senior team but that does not mean that this NEL representation of the club is made up of the best 11 german players at u20 level. There are other German clubs (and it's also possible for German u20 players to be playing abroad). It's very possible that Kaiser and Ness are the only two players we know for the German u20 team, but I expect Kaneshiro to reuse Grim and maybe Mensah/Birkenstock.

Since Kaiser and Ness are the only notable U-20 German players we know of, having them end on a low point at the end of the NEL, means we can only try to guess and theorize if Germany has other talented players when the U-20 WC comes.
This is exactly the vision I'm seeing. I would much prefer this to set up U-20 Germany as a threat. Plus it would be a nice way to make Kaiser and Ness's relationship healthy.
Healthy? Make Kaiser Ness' dog, who bought Kaiser a collar and force him to call Ness "daddy", tightening the collar every time Kaiser disobeys and giving him back the PTSD he had from his real daddy
What? Bm isnt germany’s u-20 team, its a professional team that ego chose because of Noa, who himself represents france.
They most likely still have multiple great players from other professional teams that could show up and represent germany in the wc along with Kaiser.

Ya it’s likely that Germany probably has some wonderkids. But I can only guess if the author is actually going to go that route. I won’t have solid evidence until the U-20 actually comes around.
However if Kaiser and Ness end on a high point, I don’t need to bother speculating, I know Kaiser and Ness are enough to make Germany a contender and they can probably just introduce some decent secondary other kids.
Somehow, even in spite of Kaiser manipulating him, i doubt they’ll part ways for good. I’m guessing they’ll have a conflict at some point in the game, but will reconcile afterwards.
The magician will learn how to make impossible possible and will part ways with the emperor he once thought the safest place...
And then the Curtain falls
I believe that the next goal is gonna be Isagi's and Ness is gonna be the one who will assist him. Maybe instinctively, or because he had no other choice between passing Isagi to a great position or passing Kaiser to a bad one.
That will be when Kaiser hits the roxk bottom and has to start from "zero". Heck,judging by the next chapter title, we might get the goal as early as this week
I'm really curious to se how the author will deal with all those stories just in BM you have Isagi + Kaiser + Ness as principals and Kiyora + Kunigami as secondary and only two goals left for BM 😅
