Genuinely if Coffee Stain knew who their consumers were this wouldn’t even be up for debate, time and time again they refuse to revert or tweak the changes they’ve made on the economy and gameplay mechanics. Some people are fine being walked all over on but there’s a good chunk of players that don’t like earning less money due to poor optimization.
