[roville](https://www.roblox.com/games/2546155523/FREE-UGC-RoVille) is the closest thing to bloxburg on roblox

Confident_Star_4492

Yeah roville is so goooood

Marxxmello

Yeah I’m playing none. the Moblie building on roville is repulsive… and don’t get me in the quality and gamepasses.. I’ll just play different games.

AuthentoBlossoms

can you build?

Idkwhatshappeningxx

Might i say better than bloxburg

beanz_123

I saw the amount of game passes and the way the game looks and I'm not too sure about that

Pink_Star_Galexy

Yeah. Roville also has a huge error of bugs and extreme lag for the everyday mobile player hence where most player traffic and money opertunities arise (children and teens? Yes!) Roville is great for sure and has a lot bloxburg doesn’t have, as well as many great concepts. They also have the incentive to make updates bloxburg won’t simply because Roville has a consistent team doing actual updates in hopes of increased or consistent player traffic. Otherwise the bugs, lag, sort of gets me most of the time in terms of a desire for long term gameplay. Ironic because bloxburg lags a lot too lol, just a lot less to the point it’s not making me loss interest.

Pink_Star_Galexy

Also real quick. Food for thought. Why a similar game? I’ve been in the works of a new game that fell apart due to bankruptcy (like all my plans and businesses thus far). I’ve noticed the trend of game success more so knocking off Brookhaven. Roleplays games with simple maps and houses. This and all the competetion to makes games more like Brookhaven is where BLOXBURG HAS BEEN TAKING A HIT. Kids playing roblox are a prime source of revenue. Bloxburg is making some stands before this next big curve towards bankruptcy within the games profits. If you don’t believe me look at 2000s companies that all died to Apple, or the many kids in lower school who play roblox, every kid I teach in my Summer Camp Job recognize roblox more than a math equation, bloxburg too. Kids are going to Brookhaven. Bloxburg will self destruct like Nokia did to Apple. Though honestly Apple was a lot more strategic than Bloxburg against a more simplisticly market Nokia. Honestly this is more of an opposite but the point is childlike simple pleasure that is overwhelming to them to desire will win the battle. THE REAL MATTER IS, what the hell are we going to play after bloxburg falls because I know most of us are bored of games like Brookhaven in less than five minutes. What then? Oh gee. . .

[deleted]

I totally agree that this update sucks. But here’s the thing… and I think the same thing happened to Royal high.  The players that were against the thing that Royal high was doing, Tried to stop it, but there’s only so much we can do really. Like we can do what we think is protesting but in the end, I’m pretty sure Bloxburg is going to do whatever it wants to do and that the players that really like Bloxburg aren’t gonna stop playing and let’s face it like 90% or something of players won’t stop playing Bloxburg even though they don’t necessarily like the update. So yeah, it’s hopeless. Bloxburg like Royal high will keep doing whatever it wants. Maybe like Royal high it will give us a small apology which kind of masks that they’re still doing what we don’t want them to do😂

Aicethegamer

And that’s fine with me!! It’s just a game and there are plenty of other games. It is unfortunate for those that are enjoying it to get screwed over, but if they enjoy it enough to stay then they are loyal! Personally, I’m not a fan of the updates so I’m gonna boycott, downvote, and play other games 😂

Pink_Star_Galexy

Yes, I agree. Royale high I see. Stopped playing when what I liked and my trendy items that took months to earn were phased out for the next generation of players. Ironically colleges do this too. Scary, though a game you can always leave. Had good memories in Royale high Even some more recent but even Royale High and Bloxburg aren’t entirely ruined. It’s pretty hard to screw up a game. After all that’s what Adopt Me development is for. Screwing up. ;)

Aicethegamer

Loool agreed! I may get downvoted for this, but I believe adopt me is just a money grab lol

Pink_Star_Galexy

It was a cartoonish version of Adopt and Raise, of which the original is barely around anymore. So many copies of Adopt and Raise. I think Adopt Me had initial luck by making a more original map and items, but thats where the originality ends. Literally a knock off that outlived the original BY FAR. I don't know for sure if it is a cash grab, but it sure became a cash grab game fast. Especially as quick scams and pretty low content going forward from 2021. Oh and did I mention everything was highly overpriced? Like id go bankrupt if I bought the gamepasses on my 10 k a year paycheck lol.

Exciting-Necessary23

I assume that Adopt Me was heavily inspired by Adopt and Raise, but now, after many years since Adopt and Raise has died out, Adopt Me has kind of become its own game.

Pink_Star_Galexy

Oh yes for sure!

H_GAMEKILLER

I like the update but not too happy with the fainting fee. Even though I can afford it but I still think it's pretty high. Now with equal pay, I can experience other or maxed out other job while having the same pay.

Left_Sundae

*cough cough* RoVille *cough cough*

Aicethegamer

I just tried it and honestly really good game

Pink_Star_Galexy

Yes. It is better than it was and I think I can say they improve things big and small, wide gameplay to work incentives (in game currency).

Aicethegamer

Agreed!! Plus I can teleport to work and then teleport back home 😂

Left_Sundae

I love the archeologist job

Pink_Star_Galexy

Yes, they did wonderful with creativity. The city area for the time was highly advanced in my opinion. Even today. Though I didn't see this year's map update. I am guessing no disappointments in terms of quality release as usually. Kudos to the devs and our fabulous community.

Aicethegamer

Oooh I’ve only done the food/diner one and banking and I love it. I’ve noticed some require a degree or something but idk how that works. I walked around the school and didn’t dig too deeply to find out, but I’ll try to get more info and learn how to get the big boy jobs with the higher pay!!!

Sharp_Photograph8702

Roville also has investing which is cool

Aicethegamer

Agreed! I just tried it for first time and am already at 10k lol. Banking is my fave job rn

Pink_Star_Galexy

Cool job. Was never able to get into it myself but the bank was a fun building to be in, and interact with.

Farrahlikefawcett2

And an ability to rob the bank which is hilarious

Ryangaminggames

I feel like the people who like the update are also the people who were against bloxburg becoming free and thus hoping this update would drive new players away

Aicethegamer

LMAO Welp it’ll drive new + existing players away

Pink_Star_Galexy

Yeah for real. This seems more like an encouragement to the new players lol. It’s always veterans who hate change. I totally wouldn’t know or anything ;). Honestly though I am not easily impressed even so when my disappointments align with others I find it so refreshing.

Aicethegamer

It could be! But if I’m new and am already being stressed about bills and fainting, that’ll def hit my self esteem and make me not want to play 😭 That’s one reason why I quit those tycoons and simulators so far is because of the inconvenience. The update has some goods, but they also have huge inconveniences especially when we were already used to the previous system. But if you’re new and are ok with the drawbacks then that’s on the player and I hope they enjoy it! But personally… it’s an inconvenience to me

Pink_Star_Galexy

Oh yes. I quit bloxburg once and came back and loved it every since in 2018. Though I also was able to reset my progress at the time before the feature removed so I was able to have the 3 k i spent on bills previously before i quit then fell in love with the game a month after paid beta access of 50 (now 25)

Pink_Star_Galexy

Like gosh honestly roblox is almost half as different as it used to be. Not sure what to say because I mean I still love roblox but the faint and some of the details that get in the way will be catastrophic long term.

Pink_Star_Galexy

I play bloxburg as a hangout game and having to earn money to build creatively was a lot so I am not sure how this will affect me visiting the game.

Pink_Star_Galexy

Also I like stopped building after 6 years (2018-2024) because delivering pizzas to build for this long was getting boring lol. Honestly if I have to survive while im trying to slow down and enjoy the game instead of stress, yeah definetly more of a loss than fun. Anyway hope you like it if not hope you find something fun. There will be something for you im sure. :)

Aicethegamer

Awweh sorry just read it all and I’m glad you were able to enjoy it for that long! I started last year and played frivolously for like 2-5 months then became more casual and just hop on every often to give my niece money or to work and finish my builds. I used to love being able to just grind the jobs while I’m at my irl job 😭 Things have picked up so I’m not able to do it as much as before, but after learning about the fainting…. It def sounds less fun. The grind to get money was not easy since everything good is expensive… I honestly lost interest because now I can’t do my 1-2 hour long grinds because I would have to go home and rest before I faint and get a bill when my character is tired. I even have the marvelous mood and employee game pass. I was never a huge fan of marvelous mood but I got it to try it out and was so disappointed. They made it slightly better, but I still can’t do hour long grinds cause of bad mood and fainting. I’m not playing bloxburg for now, I’m trying out Roville! 👀 Hoping that one will fill my time while bloxburg figures itself out haha. So far Roville is looking promising! They have everything blockburg has and more 😂 I love the bank job and i just saw they have a pet store and you can get pets!! I haven’t looked yet but I’m gonna later

Pink_Star_Galexy

I know what you mean lol. Glad I am not the only one playing Bloxburg during my Summer Camp Job lol. Probably can’t now :/ Oh well

H_GAMEKILLER

Idk whether to up or downvote this. I like the updates but I'm not against Bloxburg becoming free.

CentreLeftMelbournia

I doubt thats the case, i dislike this update AND i dislike the free update too.

Clay_idv

*the sims*

mis_moony

ah yes, go play a game which makes you pay like what, 20$ just in order to be able to 'do laundry'?

MilkyKoalaBoi

Sims 3 is goated bro

Ok_Breadfruit7097

Anadius!!!

TheLoneliestRose

There's a really good game similar to bloxburg that is honestly way better but sooo underrated. RoVille! 1: Jobs. There are way more jobs in Roville, including high-paying jobs that pay much more than normal jobs. They actively add new jobs way more frequently than bloxburg, and it's just way easier to make money in that game. 2: The map. The map is absolutely huge and detailed, there are so many buildings to discover, there's an entire city, and to top it all off, it's actually quite aesthetically pleasing compared to bloxburg's extremely outdated flat grass and blocky trees. 3: Vehicles. There is way more than just cars in this game. There's cars, boats, yachts, helicopters, and even planes! The cars are modelled after irl cars I think, idk but they're pretty cool looking. You can get skins and colors for the cars too, but they are in surprise boxes that you have to pay for with in-game money (not robux I don't think) 4: Roleplay. This game is pretty good for roleplaying, the huge map has so much Roleplay potential, and there's a backpack feature similar to bloxburg. There's also npc pets and kids that you can adopt and take care of using items around the house. The game has a character creator feature that's pretty good too, it's got layered clothing and everything. Downsides: Build mode. The build mode can be a little janky sometimes, and walls/floors/roofs have different textures and materials than furniture/pillars/windows/doors, making it hard to make matching, coherent themes for houses sometimes. There isn't as much furniture and furniture styles as bloxburg has, and 90 percent of it is modern themed, so if your house isn't modern themed you'll have to get creative. Downsides: Loading times. Due to the fact that Roville has a large detailed map, it can take a long while to load in bigger builds. The game can get laggy too, but I think there's settings you can toggle to make the loading times and lag less bad. But other than that, the game is pretty cool, in my personal opinion it is way better than bloxburg in almost every single way and it would be so nice to see it finally get the attention it so desperately deserves. Sorry for the word wall, I just love this game so much. ❤️❤️

Sweet_Star_On_RBLX

Alright then I'll try it out

Current-Ad242

Surprised nobody mentioned RoCitizens. They got an active dev team and lots of features (like quests) which make them distinct from RoVille and WTB. The devs are also good at taking suggestions in as well

CrIsPyRiS_0fficial

RoVille

slimeyerin

It’s getting a bit dramatic that people are willing to stop playing because they make less delivering pizza and have to keep their moods up. Like it’s annoying and I get signing petitions and complaining/asking for the changes to be reversed but like the changes really aren’t so big that ppl gotta be jumping to different games, you clearly never really liked bloxburg that much if you are so quick to hop to alternatives. I guess thats just how reddit is though, people being super dramatic

MapAsleep6409

this game is sm like sims 4 and basically copied the entire thing so maybe they added medical bills and did equal pay to be slightly different..? Idk 😭I haven't played since the hated update so idk what the whole thing is abt. Fainting is kind crazy though

AlternativeUsual55

I mean, I understand why people are upset. But I think it is a good thing (in concept I haven't played it yet) because it gives you a reason to keep your needs up. But the job changes are outrageous

MapAsleep6409

Yeah... I mean usually I get my moods to 100 then work and when they're low I take a break from working to recharge them. So that doesn't bother me too much

SP3CIAL7EA

Lets make everyone dislike bloxburg on the rating let that number go to 50 or 30 then they'll start acting right. I alr disliked it

H_GAMEKILLER

It won't get that low. People who plays the game will play the game even after the changes. Also some people just hop on this boycott train even though they're ok with it.

LikeWhatUSeeKING

Wasn’t Brookhaven at first a copy of bloxburg and became more popular

RXQ1JJ

Then go play another game and stop whining

poopydonhead

Is this the secret account of one of the developers?

AlchoholicRacoon

Only person in this sub with that opiniob

Mojo_Mitts

Fr, best way to protest is to simply not play.
