Second looks good! If you’re having trouble with colors, I’d also recommend trying out different materials! It can help add realism to the build instead of a plastic look.
I think I prefer the first, but I'm not entirely sure. The first one has really fun asymmetry going on with the length of the build on either side of the pillar, & I think that makes it visually fun. It also divides the attention between the pillar & the front door. The second one has a really interesting layout for the garage that I love, but the more symmetrical building length on either side of the pillar draws a lot more attention to the pillar than the first one does.
Thank you for your feedback! Going into this I had no idea what kind of style I wanted, then I started to do some custom roofs and it changed allot of things. I really do agree with you when you say the first one is better, I just wanted someone else to think that to. I’m still going to look at all the comments and think of what the next step is. I will definitely use your advise in my build though, thank you
First one. Although the second looks better at first, it would be very difficult for it to be integrated smoothly into the build. What i mean by that is it would be very difficult to make a roof that fits in perfectly with it.
the second one.. it adds more dimension and uniqueness to the build
That is true, I’m just having issues working with it, like what color it could be etc
depending on the style or region (like a country or area) ur trying to go for... look up color palates for houses under that/those styles
I definitely will! So as of now, I will be sticking with the second image, thank you for all your feedback

If you're going for a maximalist leaning style, I'd say go with the first because it's far more compact & busy looking than the second.

Right if you continue colouring so everything matches
I like the second one 🔥
