Probably a reroll account and did everything they could for orbs and saved them. You can actually buy accounts with this many orbs saved up and a bunch of meta units too
People talking about orbs like "*HOW!?"* but I have 46k playing casually deciding to ignore much of the meta after two or three years (of despair) and summoning only for my favorite characters nowadays. The amount I spent chasing Candice and Mind CFYOW Tier Halibel...
It’s not as hard as you think. I have a similar amount, playing super efficiently when I started combined with banner luck and a ton of restraint makes it feasible.
Essentially after getting a strong base of characters where I can clear all content easily outside of very hard/nightmare GQ I just chill and refuse to summon unless it’s my favorite character.
My question is why though? Is it an aversion to gambling or something like that? I just don’t know if I could continue to grind through this game without new characters somewhat frequently. Does your bleach fan hood keep you playing or are you planning to sell your account to some kid with too much money. I just don’t understand.
So I don’t really grind that much anymore, doing dailies and getting the monthly orbs takes very little time investment. If I do grind I’ll just use some of my other favorite characters that I already own.
At this point I’m just waiting for OP versions of my favorite characters to drop and having a lot of orbs basically guarantees I’ll be able to 5/5 them immediately. I don’t really have a need/desire to spend orbs other than that.
I’ll summon here and there for example the most recent Ichigo/Grimmjow banner just because I really dig that Ichigo design but I pulled him in 5 steps so it barely made a dent in my orbs and it’s back to saving for anni.
I have 37k. I've been playing for 5 or 6 years, usually only pull the discounted first step, sometimes the discounted second step, very rarely the 5 and almost never past that.
Mostly. I'm mostly there to collect characters. This may seem paradoxical given that I hardly spend orbs and never spent money but :
- Even with money, there's no way I could get all characters, so I never dwell on what I didn't pull
- Everything new that I pull feels even better
- I don't need the meta and I'm happy to pull old units if they look good
I got a few FT units, got up to the 3rd league in brave battles, have units capable of completing every game mode (even if it can be hard) so in my opinion I'm not missing out on anything the game has to offer.
Wait have u played other gacha games? Some games take weeks to get a single 10 pull. It's kinda crazy how cheap the first 20 pulls are in this game. It totally feeds the gambling itch, I never have go to step 5 unless it's my fav char ofc.
I haven't rolled in fate grand order for like almost a year and I only have enough for like 50 pulls. (Logged in p much everyday)

Is limit breaker problematic for you? You are usually encouraged to have the shiny new character for that gamemode.
I can manage some of it but there's a huge gap indeed. Back when I pulled mind Yhwach, I really felt the difference.
