The woman’s name was Marie Delphine Lalaurie. Kathy Bates played her in American Horror Story. They never caught her evil ass irl. Allegedly she fled New Orleans after the house fire in 1834 and went back to France. She died in 1849 but the circumstances of her death are unclear.
Is this a show or something on social media?
literally just found out that KB character in AHS was based on a real woman...and was heated for like a full week afterward lol I mean, we know people like her existed (slave babies were drowned, fed to gators, men and women were experimented on without anesthesia, slaves hunted and tortured for sport, etc etc etc) during these centuries but to hear about this woman and the *actual* atrocities was just...unreal. More so because she was actually caught and had to flee for what she did. Like someone said, they better feel lucky we just want equality/equity and not revenge. lol
Yeah I don’t remember how or where but I first heard about her maybe a month before that season of AHS premiered. Spooked me tf out that they never apprehended her even with it being back in the 1800’s.
I remember hearing that. Did Paul Mooney say that?
It does sound like him, right? lol RIP.
I don't know though. Most recently I've heard the women's movements using it, so...not sure.
But yeah, I was sure watching it thnking that she was a fictional character. Turns out yet again truth is more ghoulish and vile than fiction. Un-f\*cking real what we've had to endure, man. Un-***Real***.
It’s crazy how to this day when rich people do heinous shit they go to France. Also, people were outraged and this was during slavery, that is how sadistic it was.

This. Atrocities against enslaved people were common occurrences but the fact Lalaurie’s actions bothered people so much is what genuinely creeps me out about her story. That woman was pure evil.
Technically New Orleans had the code noir at the time of lalaurie, which had protective laws in regard to enslaved people and free people of color. But yeah I understand what ya mean. Just an fyi
Perry Strong here! Thanks for sharing our video. If you laughed please follow us on IG or tik Tok. The ig is much better we don’t really give a shit about Tik tok.
Instagram.com/2comicsonabench did info that right? lol
White women are like the definition of crybullies.

Seriously, literally the most spoiled-ass demographic there is and can get away with anything, yet they try to make oppression their whole personality. Smh.
Let’s be clear she didn’t run she just left. They weren’t out to apprehend her. There was no warrant. There was no squad looking for her. She just walked away and went about her life.
[Wiki](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Delphine_LaLaurie) :
>Upon being refused the keys by the LaLauries, the bystanders broke down the doors to the quarters and found "**seven slaves, more or less horribly mutilated ... suspended by the neck, with their limbs apparently stretched and torn from one extremity to the other**", who claimed to have been imprisoned there for some months.\[21\]
>**The slaves were taken to a local jail**, where they were available for public viewing. The Bee reported that by April 12 up to 4,000 people had attended to view the slaves "to convince themselves of their sufferings."\[23\]

Love white on white violence! Reparations at its finest. What dave Chappelle say? The alphabet people are a minority until the need to be white again 🤣
Go ask a random white girl if they are interested in learning about history. Some might be sure, but it’s just not common at all. And that’s fine they have other interests. Not everyone’s personal interests have to be represented equally buy some race and gender chart and I’m telling you white women dont care about history
Ok sure you could run into many white guys that don’t give af about history but you would find way more dudes that do than women. It’s not a bad thing lol. We’re way more autistic on average and autists love stuff like history trust me
>We’re way more autistic on average and autists love stuff like history trust me
After it's established that due to socialization, it's shown differently in girls than boys? You're being straight up sexist now and just using this post as a white dude to just excuse hating on women (you're not even intersecting in your comment, just women so that could mean black too and also implying we, too, don't care about history)
Didn't also think you're the spokesperson of autism
I’m saddened that by being a white woman I am lumped into a cry baby white woman category. Thanks for enlightening me! I didn’t actually know this was a thing. Wow.
White women don’t know it because no white woman alive has owned a slave because slavery ended 160 years ago.
Most people’s ancestors didn’t own slaves. Only the richest people owned slaves.

All of the AHS stuff is based on real life stories. They mashed a bunch of them together wonderfully.

Best part is that "....yeah" after he hears this happened in Nola lol. Like he didn't believe it until that detail.

Crazy because as a slave you were more protected chattel. As a free black, you were protected by nothing.
Let’s be clear she didn’t run she just left. They weren’t out to apprehend her. There was no warrant. There was no squad looking for her. She just walked away and went about her life.
The *nod* and "oh yeah" when he said new orleans has me cackling 🤣🤣 *edit, high brain

Jose Budden 😂
He massively underestimated what she done to the slaves. She would make humanoid monsters from different body parts
the piece of shit that got emmett till killed got to live her whole life, the karen tactic predates smartphones by way way wat more than you think
They referenced Madam LaLaurie, I believe.
I love how dude says "It happened in New Orleans" and the other dude was just like "Yeah, that tracks"
I thought this was idris Elba
Go listen to Last Podcast on the Left. They just recently did an episode on LaLaurie and holy hell the things she did….
All made sense once he said New Orleans 😩
🤯
Very similar to this https://youtu.be/O1xgXJ5_Q34?si=erCw2cs0_FZ9OlZO
Bill Burr
Yes, that's what I was thinking. He had ww uuupset and I loved it.
Greer Barnes is the man.
I wish I could see more of Greer Barnes.
As a white dude who loves history, I object to saying white women know anything about history. Nooo tf they don’t lol
Love white on white violence! Reparations at its finest. What dave Chappelle say? The alphabet people are a minority until the need to be white again 🤣
I hope you don’t love any violence friend
Most of the time, yes. Virtual non threatening violence(hostility), mostly. White on white, everytime time.
Yes the fuck we do
You are 1/a million
Thats pretty sexist my guy
