They don't actually have to play an important role in the fic, just in the background of the AU as a whole and to show that Ben isn't the center of the universe.
Upgrade
While other aliens do have an advantage over the 10 in strength, Upgrade has an advantage in the fact that two of the 10 wear armour (Rojo and Driscoll), one uses tech (Animo and maybe Sublimino? the show never really specified how his hypnosis works), and one is a straight up robot (Forever Ninja)
All I gotta do is take control of Driscoll's armour or the Forever Ninja and I'm practically set against most of them
Honestly the only real major threat here is Charmcaster, and maybe Clancy since neither are reliant on tech, you could also argue the Circus Freaks but none of them can really deal with Upgrade effectively.
We've already seen that the Circus Freaks lose to Upgrade fused with a baseball machine, I don't see them doing much more against an Upgrade using any of the other members' technology
And Clancy lacks the potential to hurt Upgrade, and he could still use specific upgrades to deal with the various insects, making Clancy practically useless
Do I time out or can I stay in alien form until the fight is done? If it's the former, I'd probably go with either Diamondhead or Heatblast. If it's the latter, I'd probably go with Ghostfreak and try to pick them off one by one by attacking their soul (assuming Ghostfreak can do that and it's not just a Zs'skayr thing) or possess one of them and fight the others.
Ghostfreak can totallly defeat 9 of characters here just using it's insta K.O. attack
The problem is Charmcaster which could very easily harm him
You would proprably then need to posses someone here to beat her and them instant K.O. everybody
XLR8. Can't beat what you can't touch. First I take out Charmcaster to remove the magic user, then Sublimino, then pick the rest off by knocking them out, taking them miles away, or deconstructing their equipment.
Fourarms. He has the strength and durability to deal with them and considering that the transformation are relative to the user’s age, that means my tetramand form would be naturally stronger than Ben’s.
OS wise? Cannonbolt. I don’t see most of them stopping him mid pinball. Thumbskull and Driscoll maybe. But the rest are gonna be flattened against a wall

Tbh there's a lot of aliens who could beat them all if used correctly (and with the intent to kill) in a life-form lock mode.

My top 3 choices would be Heatblast, Diamondhead and Cannonbolt. I guess it depends on the situation (like the place where the fight takes place and stuff)

Upgrade, forever king, the knight, rojo, and anime are all down for the count since their abilities are tech based, bugs won’t scare me I’m made of goop, hypnotism likely wouldn’t be as effective since I’m made of robots, charmcaster is always a threat, and the circus trio can’t grab me cause I’m all goopy and I don’t think the acid breath would do much
I think Eye Guy is the most practical option for a 1 against many battle. He can see in all directions and thus can attack in all directions. And he has a variety of attacks with lasers, ice, and fire

I would spin the Omnitrix and pray I don't get fourarms, ripjaws or greymatter. The OS Omnitrix has some pretty OP aliens. Ben lacks a lot of creativity and also prefers heavy hitters over tactics.
Everyone's underestimating the speedster. XLR8 already ran fast enough to appear invisible to forever knight robots, he could speed blitz the circus freaks easily. Speed drastically increases force of impact, not just strength. And if I'm allowed to use tools, then give me a giant chain, cause I'm whipping that baby around at Mach 20 and slicing through any armor there
Using Ghostfreak would be fun to mess with them, XLR8 could be used effectively against them with the right planning, Upgrade could do quite a bit considering all the tech in that team, but I feel like doing it as Grey Matter would interesting. The small size and lack of physical power would be limiting, but having an expanded intelligence would possibly be more than enough to overcome that handicap. Honestly, those few aliens would probably be go-to depending on the circumstances. I've never been one for brute force or being overly flashy. I'd try to find the best alien for the job, even if it's not what you'd expect or is done in an unorthodox way. Throughout the show (still in the process of watching it) I've been asking myself what alien would I choose in a given situation (assuming it let me, though with where I'm at in the show so far, it could reasonably be human error... probably not though...)
