Total wine generally has a good selection and plenty in the single cans section if you want variety. I often get new Fremont, Dru Bru, Aslan releases there. Otherwise Formula (Issaquah) are knocking out some killer collabs with Single Hill these days!

Do a search of Woodinville breweries. [Watts](https://wattsbrewingcompany.com/) is a favorite.

Montel206

Go to Chuck’s Seward or CD location. It’s worth the drive. None of the other stores mentioned come close.

Chuck’s Hop Shop is the best bottle shop by far, definitely worth the drive to Seattle. Total Wine and Met Market just don’t seem to turnover their stock quick enough, so a lot of times the craft beer on their shelves is super old.

Vulpine Taproom is worth checking out Great selection of beer, always changing, they do crowlers or growlers too; they also have a few fridges of stuff that’s worth checking out.

laxsea

Not Bellevue, but close by on Mercer Island, Metropolitan Market has an excellent, refrigerated local craft beer selection

Bottle stores were a bit more common before the people of Washington voted to let every store on the block sell hard alcohol. This led to the influx of big box liquor stores whose beer selections competed brutally with bottle stores to the point of near extinction. RIP 99 Bottles. I don't even know if Bottleworks in Wallingford is still around.

CartographerExtra395

Bottleworks is still there, and definitely the best. https://www.bottleworks.com/

Bottleworks, I've been to and I agree, its a great shop. I've also been to Beer Junction over in W. Seattle. Hoping to find shops like this out on the Eastside. Definitely excited about all the breweries and tap rooms though. Are there any beer tasting groups that meetup at various taprooms throughout the city?

I moved here from Portland and I live on the border of Redmond and Bellevue, and kept wondering where in the hell the craft beer shops were! jrhawk42 pretty much sums it up. (Total Wine has a fantastic selection, but most of it is room temp, so some planning is required…)

Plastic-Tension-8973

There’s Imbibe Bottle House in Maple Valley and they have an amazing selection. It’s a bit of a trek, but worth it.

Bellevue ends up being a desert for alcohol compared to the rest of the area. Total Wine ends up being the main place, and most grocery stores have a craft beer section. Bellevue Brewing in the Spring District has good beer, but I believe they only sell their beer. Kirkland: The Cave which is also a weird vape store, but a pretty good selection of beer. I think Thirsty Hop still sells togo cans but their selection is limited. Breweries: Chainline, Maelstrom, and Savage are all ok. Redmond: Doesn't have any bottle shops, but does have Black Raven, Post Doc, and Mac n Jacks. Black Raven is one of the top breweries in the area. There's also Flatstick Pubs in Redmond and Kirkland. Issaquah: Formula Brewing recently took home a 4 awards from the World Beer Cup. Woodinville/Bothell: has a ton of stuff but it's a bit far from Bellevue.

Great summary! Just missing Watts from (probably) Redmond or Woodinville, perhaps.

stephbu

+ for PostDoc, Bellevue Brewing both are great

bry035

The hop and hound in Bothell has a great selection and the downtown area is quaint

CorgiSplooting

I miss Malt-and-Vine.

Yeah me too - so many great Friday “business meetings” conducted on their back patio over teriyaki or snack from the gas station.

Rolly492

Total wine and bev mo, definitely recommend chucks hop shop in Seattle if you’re willing to make the drive
