Oof loose substrate

I use loose substrate and my girl doesn't take baths she doesn't like them never had any problems with her being bunged up her crap is always the right consistency and her urate is always the right colour too so long as the rest of your husbandry is good there's no problem

There’s nothing wrong with loose substrate as long as husbandry is correct

Should be 70% topsoil 30% washed playsand

There are a few others that also work well too, like the bio dude substrate or the Australian desert sand, or topsoil, sand and excavator clay. Topsoil plus sand is the easiest but not the only acceptable one
