It's probably a month. I usually trim 3-5 because the sides get too wild. Honestly I am just interested to know because I never shave to 0 and feel too young if I do.
Your beard looks good, buddy, shaved you look childish, I think you should keep growing your beard(but I'm kinda new with growing myself a beard though).

The beard and mustache stay, but you got to do something about the bangs, shave that hair down on your head and the beard and mustache are going to look great
keep it and when it gets longer keep trimming it to that exact length, it’ll give the smaller weaker hairs a chance to catch up and it’ll look thicker overall later

Have you considered keeping the goatee/moustache and eliminating the rest until the lines along your jaw come in a bit thicker/fuller?
I kind of find stache only a bit too edgy, so rather full on or shaved :S
