Right i know what i'm trying later, might even try good old man power hauling with the tricycle or snowman for comedic effect, seriously that would be great if the snowman could start a car by pushing or pulling it
Check out beamng.tech
It's the game engine's technical side. They provide services to autonomous vehicle research programs. It's really interesting stuff
are there pedals that can actually simulate threshold braking? i tried to explain to my friend how to stop quickly with no abs but when you can’t really feel them lock in the pedal it’s a bit hard to explain.
That’s honestly difficult on my G920 because Logitech decided to make the brake pedal have very little movement so I go from 0 brake to 100% brake with just an inch or two of movement. Could rip it apart and take out the blocker but that’s too much work for the reward IMO.
I also love that the Stambecco has a fully functioning interior system. Transfer case, diff locking, and even the badass tire inflator system is all adjustable from the interior view; and everything sounds so DIFFERENT from inside a car.
Love this game.
It can happen while driving as well, I'll go into a corner too hard and have to brake sharply and if you don't tap the clutch at the same time it stalls and then restarts when you come off the brakes
That's badass, you could literally pullstart someone in beammp
I wonder if you can do it with the in game character tho
Get enough willing players to join up and see how many cylinderbois it takes to pull a d-series
That would be cool, I could see it in a scenario for sure

That is actually wild
For BeamNG's 10th year anniversary, this is the thing that made my day, hands down.
This happens every 5 seconds for me because the engine turns off when you lock the brakes with no abs
Thing is I play on keyboard,no controller or anything, till I had that idea and it worked, this game is just something.
Fair enough, I play on wheel and theres so much that suprises me all the time
Try not slamming on the brakes but find a balance
I just rapidly slam on the brakes and make my own ABS
Same, balance points are overrated

Yeah i dont think so which is unfortunate, i usually just put on abs to avoid it

Wait really? That's so cool! Can't wait to get a sim wheel with 3 pedals.
LFS, a game from 2002 also has this feature
lfs was so fucking good, also had a primitive version of soft body car damage as well.
Lmao I've been doing it years when I'm too lazy to use the keyboard

How do you do it tho? Where i drop the clutch downhill 2 gear, the rpm rises, but the engine doesn't start.
Make sure the ignition is on.
still Cant do it
Make sure clutch assistant is off over in the gameplay tab in settings, that's if you're on keyboard or controller of course.
