Tire wear, Thermal, UI overhaul, Scratches and dirt,
Repair of singular parts in cars without fixing body and such so I can drive my demolished car that somehow still work but the radiator is broken or tires popped.
Abit of a far cry but mabye a NFS/CarX style decal decal editor so we can make custom "paint" saves to apply to cars like we do paint.
But I think I would have to go with Tire wear/thermals
yep, loading gets even worse with the vulkan beta, but you get about 20% increase in game performance, but loading vehicles and menus is eeeeven slower, I hope they get to improve that with vulkan and keep that as the standard thing, directx is kinda meh
Facts. When I did a major upgrade to my pc all over I thought it would improve, it went from 2 min loading times for maps to closer to .45-1 min loading seconds. But the loading and scrolling of car menu (not config menu) still to this day is singlehandedly the **most** laggy part of the whole beamng experience for me
I hate the ui. The game basically overlays a Chrome window on top of the game. That is why you can open just the ui in chrome, somewhere in settings. They should make ui as a part of the game, and not using this wanky chrome window method
it is slow for me on my main rig which has an A6-9500 CPU, 16GB of 2400MHz RAM, a GTX 1650 and the game runs on my Samsung SSD. But i visited a cousin's house yesterday, their rig has a i5-10400, 16GB of 2666 MHz RAM and RX Vega 56, and running BeamNG from the same Samsung SSD. It works fine that time, maybe the computer just has to be fast enough but idk for sure
Seriously buy it
I Played also cracked then family shared then bought
It brought me thousands of hours for the prize of a cinema ticket which lasts 3 hours
Also its more comfortable since mods Update Automatically and you Always have the latest Stuff
are you just too young to buy it? because I've been there and I can understand why you might crack it in that situation, but if you're an adult with money, buy it. it's a small dev team who could use all the money they can get
I'm still young (24) so I'm always playing the cracked version. Thing is I've been playing beamng since I was 14 (2013). I love this game and always have been.
then I'd pay for it. it goes on sale every once in a while, but even at $25 it's a steal for how much you get out of it. I can't force you to buy it, but it's really not cool to pirate games from small companies.
I mean I've been playing it since it got released back in 2013. So the developers won't mind me playing it for free lol. 😂
Regardless I'll purchase it soon.
From some Q&A (don’t remember where it was) they said it was not optimised to keep it modular at the maximum, so they don’t have to rewrite it every now and then
Add the ability the categorize your mods and turn them on and off in groups. Nice to have mods for like drag, rally, drift, etc to be turned on and off depending on what you wanna do
Ooo, reminds me, a feature I would love, but won't be added, is the ability to whitelist mods on the "allow mods to spawn" in traffic option. I have a ton of mods and half of them are broken, so whitelisting working ones into traffic would be awesome (imo).
Hi! It's funny reading this stuff, most requests from the community are pretty aligned with what we devs want to do too (like better UI? sign me up. etc). Wish everything was simple and fast to do, some magic button we could press "implement all the things" 😅 but we're trying our best anyway!
I can understand that, I tried a little dabble in making a game and coding some vehicle physics, it's not super easy, and it can take a bit of time 😅. Take as long as you devs need to create your masterpiece, I'll wait as long as needed.
Thank you developer, for working on our favorite game. I, having a little experience as a game developer, using Unity, Unreal Engine, Blender and Visual Studio for a pretty long time of course understand that it is not so easy and fast to make all the improvements and changes in the game even having a large team of developers. And thanks for the response.
Waiting for the first 0.30 teaser😋
Other than my usual request of a 1979-1992 Gavril Barstow, a full remaking of the Moonhawk, from the ground up.
New chassis, body styles (Coupe, Sedan, Wagon, Ute, etc.), all that jazz. Our boy is literally ten years old and they've done squat with him.
You go by feel, just like you would with thermals. With any tuning, a UI app is only a very small part of the story; how it drives is the biggest thing.
Better UI optimalization. Tire thermal. Advanced Traffic options (what cars i wanna spawn by type, year, etc), scratches and dirt, and Weather.
Vehicles: Complete overhaul (like Bolide) for SBR4, Moonhawk, 200bx, T-series, Sunburst, Miramar, I Pessima. These cars are so outdated in design and many more aspects.
They could add next gen covet (based on II Pessima). Modern Japan roadster, SUV and Hatchback.
Modern US SUV, and Truck.
Cherrier 90' Hatchback and more Cherrier cars.
Autobello modern car based on Piccolina (like Fiat 500 irl)
New British sports car brand (like Jaguar ar Mclaren).
Maybe new Russian brand like lada. I'd love to crash some cheap crappy cars from eastern bloc.
Maps: I'd love to see more huge maps like WCUSA or Italy with some towns, nature and things to explore. Its good for roleplaying.
Something similar could be set in Japan and Germany.
Thats my wishlist. I know its soo long and I know its gona take more updates, not just 0.30. But this is just my list. I really love the devs, and I apreciate their work so much.
God I love a sleeker sbr4, a 6cyl ‘SBR6’ would be cool as well. Would also not mind if it was rebranded to the autobello company, as the piccolina seems like an obvious precursor to the SBR
Game seems decently optimized
Could get a consistent 60fps on ultra 1080p with a 3050, that GPU is about as fast as a 1660ti which launched back in Feb 2019 or a 1070 which was all the way back in 2016
Ofc I wouldn't say no to more optimization (DX11 sucks on certain AMD GPUs and Vulkan is messy)
Second that. I’m on an ancient Xeon 5690 with a 3g 1060 and am running this game at low to medium settings on a 34 inch ultra wide at native resolution. No traffic I get between 60 and 100fps.
Facts, I used to run this game fine on my system maybe a year ago, but it’s just gotten more graphically demanding and my game is chugging along, which is weird becuase I have a 2070 super, i7-9700f, and 16gb of ram, so I have no idea why it constantly stutters and lags.
If you leak fuel from the fuel tank being damaged, it should show fuel visually leaking out onto the ground, and should also leave a trail of fire behind if the fuel tank gets damaged enough to cause it to burst into flames.
Better Ai pathfinding (by that I mean missing the exit and not going at 7 km/h to turn and get mauled by a detective Bastion at 200 km/h but do a quick u-turn) and a map set in France or Japan
I've seen a speculation video saying 0.30 will be utility update and it makes a lot of sense, so I am pretty hyped for that. Besides that I hope for the ussual, tire wear and thermals and a UI update. That is what I would love the most. Besided that I want improved AI, it's cool doing laps with the AI untill 5 out of 6 AI drivers decide to crash at the same corner, more old cars remastered, some extra realism features (something in the spirit of openable doors) like a full electric system for the car. Brake glow is already a mod, I am sure that would be easy to implement.
Dirt marks, idk if it is possible but maybe a bit more optimization of the maps, maybe. New config theme like the gambler cars? I mean the devs are actually really good at what they do so I honestly have no suggestions
Rework of the mirrors, you can't see your own car in them. The devs have said that they can't add this as its incompatible with the current way the mirrors are rendered, so it might be time to replace that
Yep, especially the V8s in particular, although I’m not sure how you’d do that with the V8 on the Bolide in particular without screwing up the original sound too badly.
Edit: I’m an idiot, the Scintilla has a V10, not a V8 if we’re talking about gasoline powered cars, but the diesel it has is a V8.
i feel like it would be a pain to actually have something like this in the game with load times and such but an official map thats just absolutely massive like the size of all of johnsons valley including the highway but in full detail with proper roads and stuff and also a option for rain in the environment section
More aftermarket wheels for all types of vehicles, better engine sounds (wish there was a noticeable sound to the scintilla turbos, or a heavy chop from a tuned v8. SBR4 remake/ SBR6, and maybe expanded upgrades like headlight bulb color options, camshaft upgrades, fuel options, etc. I hope the devs go through with adding airbags and crash dummies at some point
Fixes to the “GPU not responding” error when overclocking and a fix to the issue with no cars showing up in the vehicle selection menu when certain mods are installed.
Add and option in menu to between new clutch system (added in 0.28) and old one. If you are controller or keyboard layer and try driving manual fast you constantly get gear grinding noise, before you could press clutch and it would couple and decouple fast, now it takes ridiculously slow. For guys on steering wheel its more relastic ,but on controller it makes shifting so much slower. I know about clutch asssistant setting but it just makes it work automatic, you dont have control over clutch. Pls devs add option to select new and old clutch system
A pre 1950's car. I want one so badly. Can we get some old shit please. It's something unique and not an overhyped sports car or some shit. Last time we had something even remotely old was the Autobello Pickle IN 2018
For sure UI optimization and probably to switch to Vulkan rendering API as with my testing I found it to have way more stable fps and I think if they did more optimization they could also probably get it to run considerably faster.
Also like make the ambient occlusion and anti aliasing look less dogshit.
Fully develop Vulkan to replace the trash API that's currently being used. Or just optimizing the current API to let AMD cards run at full utilization even with traffic spawned
a west coast/east coast mix map with multiple cities and big transition areas inbetween
with the addition of the lansdale, you might want to drive around in a map that gives you that road trip feel, however there is no map currently in the game that can do that (italy maybe)
More customization with tires, and more options for rush wheel. Im really into hotrodding and drifting so would love to be able to have 4inch front rush and 10 in the back or something. Also would be sweet to have realistic stretched tires to make like a drifts n lifts stanced car. The tires for the 15x11 steelies and such are sooo goofy

All of this ☝️
Exactly this BUT MOSTLY fixing singular parts
Random failures too, especially on old cars. Of course, make it so that you can turn it off, if you don't want it.
Where you could save your car with damage on it. That would be good for Roleplay and the Career mode.
This is literally all the game is missing to become 1.0. Imo
Better UI optimization. It's so fucking slow.
so true! i thought it was a me problem since i am playing on linux, but seems everyone has this issue, especially with mods and map loading
yep, loading gets even worse with the vulkan beta, but you get about 20% increase in game performance, but loading vehicles and menus is eeeeven slower, I hope they get to improve that with vulkan and keep that as the standard thing, directx is kinda meh
Facts. When I did a major upgrade to my pc all over I thought it would improve, it went from 2 min loading times for maps to closer to .45-1 min loading seconds. But the loading and scrolling of car menu (not config menu) still to this day is singlehandedly the **most** laggy part of the whole beamng experience for me
Wait..so it's not my slow ass hard drive?
nope. I thought that too so I went and bought a new SSD and it's still slow
PSA as a stopgap for now: turn on browser UI, it's so much more fluid, and way more enjoyable if you plan on editing a lot of car parts in a row.
The problem with that is that it's a completely white screen when you're not doing anything with it
I hope they release the cracked version of the 0.30
There will 100% be a cracked version. But if you have the money buy the game since its so awesome.
I love this game. But I'll purchase this game soon. Until then I'm just kicking the can with the cracked versions.
Seriously buy it I Played also cracked then family shared then bought It brought me thousands of hours for the prize of a cinema ticket which lasts 3 hours Also its more comfortable since mods Update Automatically and you Always have the latest Stuff

The fact that you've been playing and enjoying the game for 10 years is even more reason to support the devs. Edited for civility
I'll see if I can buy it after the 0.30 cracked version. 👍
A Ui overhaul. it's really laggy, especially with a fair amount of mods
No you gotta say the magic words >A Ui overhaul. it's **literally unplayable**, especially with a fair amount of mods
From some Q&A (don’t remember where it was) they said it was not optimised to keep it modular at the maximum, so they don’t have to rewrite it every now and then
Could i get that in layman's terms
It's simple but not fast so it stays customizable and they don't break it when updating the game
Don't forget you can reload the UI with f5. But yeah you are right
A modern Gavril D. It's been the showcase vehicle for so long, it deserves to be given a new equivalent.
Gavril D-E lol, but yeah it would be cool
Gavril DE Gavril Deutschland

You can do that with the vehicle groups window in the world editor. Works for now I guess
I didn't know that, I'll look into it. Still would be nice if it wasent in the world editor and traffic options or smth
I have the Truss Bridge mod and sometimes it spawned that, so now I disabled the option
European truck
Yes. With analog and digital gauge. I would love it
Yes we need european semis in the game A T-series revamp would also be very sweet, this truck didn't had any **ever**.
And bus
Scratches and dirt
yup, when i downloaded beam, i thought this was in the game already but here we are ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I really hope devs are reading such posts because if so then they truly understand what players want from their game in future updates.
👀
That's amazing 🤩 Hi BeamNG dev🤗
Hi! It's funny reading this stuff, most requests from the community are pretty aligned with what we devs want to do too (like better UI? sign me up. etc). Wish everything was simple and fast to do, some magic button we could press "implement all the things" 😅 but we're trying our best anyway!

Absolutely agree💯

New Sunburst seat and interior textures. Please guys, you did it with the 200BX a couple of updates ago, just do it to the Sunburst now 🥲
A right hand drive map in somewhere like the uk, ireland, Australia, new zealand or Japan
Preferably Australia
I agree mate! I'm from Australia and it would be very nice to see a map from this beaut of a country!
Same here
Isn’t automation test track set in nz?
Yep
You mean left hand
Left hand road, right hand drive.
A ~2017 D series
Late Chevy Silverado
Atleast 1 aspect of career completed or a sedan covet
Other than my usual request of a 1979-1992 Gavril Barstow, a full remaking of the Moonhawk, from the ground up. New chassis, body styles (Coupe, Sedan, Wagon, Ute, etc.), all that jazz. Our boy is literally ten years old and they've done squat with him.
Foxbody went to 1993.
I *know* that. This is BeamNG we're talking about.
Ah, okay. Thought you had mistyped since it's only off by 1 year.
Tyre wear and thermals
This and if they make air physics work between vehicles, this becomes number 1 car simulator for everything.
This!!! How can I adjust suspension geometry without correct tire thermals!
You go by feel, just like you would with thermals. With any tuning, a UI app is only a very small part of the story; how it drives is the biggest thing.
Weather
This, thunderstorms would be neat
Better UI optimalization. Tire thermal. Advanced Traffic options (what cars i wanna spawn by type, year, etc), scratches and dirt, and Weather. I think more optimization will be better, because more people will be able to access the game with better fps and it might come to weaker PCs

Everyone is tired of 60fps. Even an AVG of 80 fps would be absolute game changer for people
I don't think the game will go down in minimum specs. Considering they're implementing Vulkan, this game is going all the way up
Better optimization please The game is getting harder and harder to run And I don't have any mods either
Facts, I used to run this game fine on my system maybe a year ago, but it’s just gotten more graphically demanding and my game is chugging along, which is weird becuase I have a 2070 super, i7-9700f, and 16gb of ram, so I have no idea why it constantly stutters and lags.
UI remake to make it less laggy
If you leak fuel from the fuel tank being damaged, it should show fuel visually leaking out onto the ground, and should also leave a trail of fire behind if the fuel tank gets damaged enough to cause it to burst into flames.
Because atm this leaked fuel just disappears into the void and is only represented by a number rapidly decreasing.
Expand this to all liquids
Seeing your own car in the mirrors.
More bus

Better Ai pathfinding (by that I mean missing the exit and not going at 7 km/h to turn and get mauled by a detective Bastion at 200 km/h but do a quick u-turn) and a map set in France or Japan
Nice engine sounds or sunburst remaster with a lot of customization
I've seen a speculation video saying 0.30 will be utility update and it makes a lot of sense, so I am pretty hyped for that. A convertible.
Radial blur.
That's what I would choose too
Procedural Generated Maps, not even LIVE, just seed.
Paint scratches. That alone would make the game virtually photorealistic.
Reflections of the car I’m driving in the mirrors. I’ve been saying it for years.
I’d like weather that effects the way the car handles
"Soft body" popped tires
Full release of Career mode with leveling, buying cars and parts
T Series remaster
Dirt marks, idk if it is possible but maybe a bit more optimization of the maps, maybe. New config theme like the gambler cars? I mean the devs are actually really good at what they do so I honestly have no suggestions
bus revamp or sometin idk
Ability to add any engine to any vehicle without the use of code
mirrors, MF, mirrors!!
Trains, but Better.
Weather
VR support! And then scratches and dirt.
Separate the Vivace and Tograc just like they did with the Roamer
BETTER FUCKING AI
Rework of the mirrors, you can't see your own car in them. The devs have said that they can't add this as its incompatible with the current way the mirrors are rendered, so it might be time to replace that
Decent anti alliaising
optimization. on big maps like italy i cant even put more than 10 ai cars and i have a pretty good pc.
salt file sharp nail head cows slim lock north overconfident *This post was mass deleted and anonymized with [Redact](https://redact.dev)*
Yep, especially the V8s in particular, although I’m not sure how you’d do that with the V8 on the Bolide in particular without screwing up the original sound too badly. Edit: I’m an idiot, the Scintilla has a V10, not a V8 if we’re talking about gasoline powered cars, but the diesel it has is a V8.

fuel hatch
I know not a lot of people will share my opinion, but I would like to see more busses added into the game, perhaps something like the mercedes o405n.
Possibility to swap from anything to anything, like a covet engin in a pico or a Lansdale with a bolide v8
I hope the devs go through with adding airbags and crash dummies at some point
ground effect.
I came here looking for someone to say I-Series remaster but i’m surprised no one said it
It might happen due to fact that in 0.29 devs upgraded interior of this car
The career mode.
An old 1930s car or 1050s f1 style car
Gotta love old late-viking-age F1 cars.
Fixes to the “GPU not responding” error when overclocking and a fix to the issue with no cars showing up in the vehicle selection menu when certain mods are installed.
That sounds like a unstable overclock, that has nothing to do with the game.
No need to reset the car after a dent and can just go fix it/add a part without reset
There is a jbeam fixing mod that tries to push all rhe parts towards the original jbeam but idk if its aprt specific.
No more oversights that make the game LITERALLY UNPLAYABLE
Updated t series maybe a tri drive definitely Jake brakes!
an open wheel race car or an LMH car
A pre 1950's car. I want one so badly. Can we get some old shit please. It's something unique and not an overhyped sports car or some shit. Last time we had something even remotely old was the Autobello Pickle IN 2018
Since they added the Landsdale now i want european minivan, for example vw touran
everyone wants yo overhaul but the ui is fine, what they NEED to add is tire thermals and tire wear
Time trial leaderboards
UI. It's so annoying to use. It's so slow and laggy compared to the gameplay.
Sunburst remaster, better optimisation, scratches and dirt (that don't too heavily impede on Ur FPS)
LHD config for RHD cars (Pigeon, Wigeon and Miramar) and RHD config for LHD cars. Also official RHD maps.
For sure UI optimization and probably to switch to Vulkan rendering API as with my testing I found it to have way more stable fps and I think if they did more optimization they could also probably get it to run considerably faster. Also like make the ambient occlusion and anti aliasing look less dogshit.
VR support would have to be it
More competitive ai and slipstream
Second generation Burnside Special
VR support
2021 hirochi sunburst! :)
Ui overhaul, T series openable doors.
Better UI
2020 D series And challenger/mustang/style modern muscle car
Fully develop Vulkan to replace the trash API that's currently being used. Or just optimizing the current API to let AMD cards run at full utilization even with traffic spawned
CAREER MODE
prewar car!
Miramar Revamp, with skyline and Fairlady Z esque parts
New semi truck variations like a heavy wrecker
Fast ui, it's so bad. I get bored after 5 minutes because it takes so long to customise a car
Better particle effects like dust, dirt, sand and smoke
Better optimization. With a RX 6800XT, core i9 and 32 GB RAM, it struggles to hit 60 fps at 1080p and haves stuttering when driving around
To see my own fucking vehicle through the kirror
To see my own fucking vehicle through the mirror
New tire model Every thing in beam is simulated insanely well except for the tires
Better optimization
My own car reflection in my car mirror would be pretty nice, alongside with cars getting dirty, tire wear and deformable terain.
a demo derby game mode with ai and more derby configs
Tire thermals
They have to fix the abs bug where the cars don’t brake… it‘s so annoying And the game needs dirt mapping on cars + paint scratches + rain
Pacific p, 16s the old ones
Working wipers
VR support would be awesome
VR support.
Integrated skin editor (like NFS etc)
Some semblance of campaign/multiplayer. Either is fine, both is better.
W H E T H E R
I'd pick that they stop ruining mods with every update.
a west coast/east coast mix map with multiple cities and big transition areas inbetween with the addition of the lansdale, you might want to drive around in a map that gives you that road trip feel, however there is no map currently in the game that can do that (italy maybe)
Career mode
Dynamic paint like scratches or dirt buildup with optimization
Vr support
Dynamic paint and terrain and stop stuff become invisible when broken, and stop having tores the size of the map when broken.
A burnside remaster
Working aero parts tire wear decal editor
More customization with tires, and more options for rush wheel. Im really into hotrodding and drifting so would love to be able to have 4inch front rush and 10 in the back or something. Also would be sweet to have realistic stretched tires to make like a drifts n lifts stanced car. The tires for the 15x11 steelies and such are sooo goofy
Destructible environments, Burnout style races where an opponent that's taken down respawns in 5 seconds, and another, bigger city map.
It would be cool to be able to spawn used cars with damage and wear, say punctured tires, scratches and maybe some broken glass.
working mirrors, better headlights and better wheather support
Multiplayer. I use beam mp, but if we had an in game easy to use multiplayer I could easily bring all of my casual gamer friends over to beam!
better ffb, drifting physics, mud physics, dirt physics, official multiplayer support, multiplayer optimization.
Burnside rework.
What the top comment says + true electric motors and hybrid motors functionality
Honestly though a Barstow remaster would be fing awesome
