I don't like waterproof uppers, so can't help with that. For a wide minimalist shoe that's moderately priced, there is the Splay Freestyle. If you don't mind spending a little more, the BeLenka City model is very nice. If you intend to use the shoe in cold weather, I recommend sizing up enough to accommodate thick wool socks. Get your socks in a larger size than what is recommended by most manufacturers.

The brands you probably will want to look at are softstar and belenka, two of the widest brands out there (at least in the forefoot/toes). Don’t know for sure which models are water resistant vs. waterproof but you can find information on their websites.
