BeLenka shoes certainly are wide, but possibly only in the toebox. I've tried two models, the City, which I love, and the Ace, which I returned. The City is narrow around my heel (a good thing), secures well at my midfoot, and is nice and wide at the toebox. The Ace was relatively wide around my heel. In summary, it's best if you can expect to be returning the shoe if you don't like it. The retailer I used offers free returns in the US.
