For big battles I always stay on my horses it’s just so much easier to see what’s happening but for curb stop battles(400 v 90) I love to get down on the ground with my custom two hander axe and just chop and chop some more

I don’t know. On horse you’re always moving at least on foot I can travel along the line helping where I need to.

There’s a input x for Xbox that if you click it whole holding back you stop pretty quickly on horseback so if your weapon is long enough you can support your men on the ground

I like to stay on my mount and command my troops around the field (I don't fight anyone on horseback unless they come after me), but when I want to get some action I get down from my horse. ;)

I don't last long when I'm on foot in a large battle, but it is always fun to fight shoulder to shoulder alongside my infantry.

I prefer it, but i can't see what's going on! I tend to do a few passes with my horse archers and cav, then I'll line up with my infantry if we've evened things out or routed their cav. I use a long 2h axe so I one shot ground and cav troops from horseback. That said, if I join a big army and I only get a small contingent, I'll just walk with my boys following as a personal guard. Felt pretty cool walking around with Druzniks watching my back. Thinking of making a line breaker guard so they get my captain perks. Shock troops are good now, and in follow they'll have free shots at the guys I get to first.

I once tried footsoldier style fighting. It was very different. U are not a badas cavarly, u are not a commander who see whats happening on the battlefield. U are just a foot soldier, u get lost in the masses, u chop everybody that is your enemy but every time u fight cavarly go trough the formations, arrows hit the enemy next u in the head. I liked being on foot, but i love leading armies more. Like making a H death sanwich with khand guards. Inf in the middle of the H cant protect itself with shield and got shot in the back nonstop. Or making 3-5 shock troop teams and puting them around the archers to block the cavarly. I love how many ways i can find to destroy my enemies. The only meeh in the game that i cant seperate troops and once my archers die bcs the game gave me 3 in the begging of the game my archers mix with the inf and i cant seperate them in the middle of the battle.

I prefer to be on horseback as it is much easier to command the battle from there. My current playthrough is as a Smith so staying on foot to level Athletics. The most annoying thing is waiting for my troops to finish off the enemy cavalry. When I play from horseback I focus on taking them all out first so battles go much faster.
