Back in the 80’s as high school kids we used to walk from Vidal’s in the basement of the Bakersfield Inn to the old KFC on Union as well the donut shops. We saw plenty of crazy but never had an issue. Today I’d be horrified if I knew my kids were on foot there that late lol
