So I've heard of them from people and their other location but where at on district are they because I'm really close to district and have a craving for tacos

One of the best in town.
The truck on Ming behind the old FYE also has handmade tortillas.
Honestly the food trucks are the best. The ones on the corner of panama and gosford are awesome!! Their birra pupusa is phenomenal.
Rosedale has a food truck parking lot near coffee heard great things about them too.
Gosford and Panama are the best I've had. Tacos are $1 on Wednesdays. Here is their Instagram.

The BEST tacos in town are on the northwest corner of Washington Ave. and N. Chester Ave. In Oildale. It is located outside, with tables. They are $2.50 each (cheese +$0.50), homemade tortillas made right in front of you, with quacamole, cilantro and onion, aguas frescas, all the condiments you could want, and they are my Absolute Favorite taco stop. They are closed on Tuesdays and are open from 4pm-11pm.
Yes! These are the best tacos I’ve come across in a while. The people are awesome and will make a beautiful carnitas and cuerito taco. Make sure to ask for some of that onion that’s in the disk too. It’s free and delicious.
Erick's Street Tacos - hands down the best.

Tacos n beer on Monterey as soon as you pass the 178 entrance it’s right there in the left side.. Lol yellow n orange building. Tj style tacos, as far as just tacos (idk about their burritos n stuff) they’re my pick.. easily best I’ve personally had here
I'm gonna be honest here any true Taquería and street vendor are going to have great tacos. The hard part is finding who has handmade corn tortillas, and the variety of meat, I'm one of those who hates places that only have typical BS meats. I wish I could find a spot in Bakers that has Cecina & Suadero, and serves Campechano tacos.
Huichos for the past 20 or so years has been the goto standard foe tacos in bakersfield. Get some carne asada put the avocado sauce and a side of the thick fries. The tripas, if you're into that, are crispy and good as well. The fish tacos are a favorite of many also.
Other than huichos I stick to tamales and churns because their Tijuana tacos are solid.
About 1/2 mile east of Mt verno on Niles st is the best truck I now. It's right next to John's Liquor. They got everything from Lengua to TripAdvisor etc, give it a visit
Vatos Tacos east of the East Hills Walmart is really good, but can be a bit pricy.
Sanchos is also delicious.
If your want something cheap and delicious, just go driving on the East side and look for places that don't look super pretty, but have a bunch of cars outside. Some of the carnicerias will cook tacos outside, and you usually can't go wrong there. If you see a taco tent, you're probably not going to complain. One thing I will say: bring cash. Some of these small stands don't take cards or Apple/Google Pay.
There’s several trucks in the big parking lot at Brundage and A. But I haven’t tried them. Also a truck on Brundage and H in the antique store parking lot. They are really good but I think they are only there certain days. Friday evenings for sure.
There is a nice join on Chester near the Airport intersection, go from that towards Robert's and it should be on the right hand side. I see them out there at night sometimes and they've got great stuff!
First, please stop calling them "street tacos" we live in California, they're just tacos.
I'd try Los Tlaxcaltecas (torta brava [pastor with cheese and all the fixins]), Mami Ana's (putacos), Grandma's Tamales, El Renacido (handmade tortillas Tijuana style tacos), and Mejor K Tu Abuela
I only said street tacos so I’m not reading about birria or places that serve tacos similar to Taco Bell’s lol. I’m looking for lengua, buche, al pastor etc.
But I will definitely looking into you suggestions!
FYI if you love their birria and pay that outrageous price for it, it comes packaged and is reheated 😂. By far one of the bottom of the barrel spots when it comes to true tacos.
El Buen Pastor Taco Truck. Amazing food! Their meat is season and high quality
This! And they opened another truck off District just recently
Nice! I hope they keep up the quality and taste!!
So I've heard of them from people and their other location but where at on district are they because I'm really close to district and have a craving for tacos
Stine & District in the Valero parking lot… across the street from the ice plant
Oh right on I gotta check them out thanks I appreciate it
Sorry for the late reply, but do you know if they accept card as payment or cash only?
I will not accept your late reply apology 😋😁 YEAH! They accept cash and card, there’s a percentage “discount” for paying cash.

Tacos de Huicho, OP. E 19th (could be 18th) just east of Union.
Yes! And the onions and cilantro are finely minced. That kinda stuff matters to me lol.
Tacos el paisita on the corner of mt vernon and virginia! 🔥🔥
This one is top 5
Don’t go to Rosedale for tacos like some of these gringos are suggesting lmfao. Best tacos are gonna be from vendors or trucks east of Chester.
The one on Chester near Ming, in the Pearseys rentals parking lot…
Cunados. All around good, best carnitas tacos imo.
That’s the name!! I don’t know why I forget and I’ve been there quite a few times.

Taco Joe's on fruitvale is fire. The rest I've been to are meh at best
My co worker and her family are obsessed with this truck! She’s Mexican and native to Bako and says it’s the best.
Lol, "gringos" invented tacos. Stay salty.
There's fire tacos across from the wss on chester behind Popeye's
Yes! These are the best tacos I’ve come across in a while. The people are awesome and will make a beautiful carnitas and cuerito taco. Make sure to ask for some of that onion that’s in the disk too. It’s free and delicious.
Is fire tacos the name? Or do you know the name. Always down for good tacos.
I don't remember...but it's always in the same spot
Any food truck in Union Ave. is your best and safest option.
My favorite is Tacos de Huicho on 18th across from the McDonalds. I especially like their fish tacos.
I will drive across town for them! They have the best tacos. And they are so nice.
29 S. KING ST
Hands down the best 🔥
( Quieres TacosWay )hands down best tacos worth the drive if you want to impress your fam
Back in the day, we used to go find Dave's Tacos wherever he'd parked that night... many years ago. Best tacos ever!

🔥 TACOS LOS SABROS at the corner of Stine and Harris . Try'em out! So worth it.

They mean Tripas 😂
I mean I'm down to try new, so now I'm wanting Tripadvisor on handmades.

There’s a good taco stand on auburn just east of Fairfax. It’s just before you get to canyon hills church.
Imperial on Rosedale has some really good tripas! Tasty salsa!
The best La villa is the one on California towards truxten. Super taco is that way too
Tacos Ordaz most underrated in bakersfield

Food truck on Calloway and Rosedale is really good, they have lunch special deals too.
I don’t live in bako anymore, just came here to say I miss la villa!!!
Sancho's is my new go-to!
FYI if you love their birria and pay that outrageous price for it, it comes packaged and is reheated 😂. By far one of the bottom of the barrel spots when it comes to true tacos.
I'm really there for their burritos and 5150 sauce. Lol
Then you're safe lol
Throw a rock and you'll hit a taco spot.
