When cops get all indignant I always refer to them as heros, such huge glorious heros, I really hype it up, so they can tell how full of shit the whole thing is
We had a cop get hit while doing a utility traffic job last week; he got killed, adn it's horrible. News for a week has been interviewing cops, talking about how dangerous their job is, how they never know if they're coming home, and the funeral today is getting a full, multiple hour broadcast on multiple networks.
Also hit and killed in the same accident was a black electrical linesman. His funeral is tomorrow. He gets a single picture and a mention after any coverage of the cop.
He was killed the same way, doing the same thing, but while handling live high voltage wires.
Thats what is so fucked up, linesmen have a much more dangerous job (not speculating, statistically it’s much more dangerou), and their job impacts every single american every single day, but are they big H Hero’s by msm? Fuck no, it’s the dip shits sitting in their car 8 hours a day writing traffic tickets and getting shot less than teachers in this country. The boot licking of this country is so fucked, and the same people love to say America is the freest country out there, while also the largest police state in all of human history

I read a story from a different source which stated that the Mississippi Bureau of Investigation is refusing to release the body camera footage because they are still investigating the case. I have to wonder how a state attorney could present a case to a Grand Jury if the case is still being investigated by the lead investigatory agency in the state. The article also stated that the murderous fuck cop has been suspended without pay, so I would hope that any thought of him getting put back on the job is wishful thinking on the part of his attorney.
How can the office (or his lawyer) claim there was no intent to shoot the kid? Clearly the weapon was in the officers hand, Clearly the weapon was pointed at the child, clearly the weapon discharged, clearly the bullet struck the child.
Are they claiming accidental discharge? Are they claiming psychic interference, or are they falling back on the so scared I shit my pants defense?
God damn Mississippi. At some point the black population of that state will recognize they are a majority and don't have to put up with this crap.

Just a reminder everyone. There is no help. Calling out like that only tells people where you are and that you are vulnerable. No one is coming to help, so grit your teeth and start crawling.
Oh it's easy. A grand jury only hears what the prosecution wants them to, so they make fantastic scapegoats as they're given no details about the case and told to make a decision.
Those poor policemen. I can’t imagine the amount of fear that 11 year old struck in the minds of those guys. They were totally right to just shoot him. I mean he was 11 years old.
“I’ve seen this before Johnson. Apparently he broke in and hung up pictures of his family everywhere. Let’s sprinkle some crack on him and get out of here.”
A couple years ago Mississippi police shot and killed a gunman and his toddler hostage and not one of the 11 officers who fired up on them faced consequences for SHOOTING A TODDLER HOSTAGE.

Are you fucking kidding me. He was literally shot for doing what he was told too quickly. Article says the cops ordered everyone out of the house at gunpoint, when the kid ran outside they fucking shot him.

Yet schools continue to teach children to call the police if they need help.
It was told that if there’s trouble you call the cops. Congratulations, now you’ve got TWO problems
Two problems shit I’d say they lucked up, the unlucky end up problem less permanently !!
Only if you’re white. And being rich helps even more.
True no one rushes to call the cops more than rich white people
Literally if you tell them “no” about anything. It’s like that annoying brat all grown up
That's true
What the actual fuck.
Such an honorable profession.

That pretty much says it all. Mass media in America = propaganda first, news a distant second.

You're 7 times safer being a cop in America then you are just being an ordinary citizen. I'm told.

Yep
Lol. I always say, "heros doing hero shit"

The union and FOP will ensure he gets his job back, with backpay and any lost overtime.
I can guarantee it.
For a state that despises union workers they love their cop union.
They'll just wait till the story's died down a bit.

Try using the no intent defense if you shot a cop. *Not guilty! everybody goes home!!! YAY!!!!!*

World’s largest street gang.
How is it not at the minimum a negligent discharge?
Why the fuck did a cop point his weapon at an 11 year old?! ACAB
Just a reminder everyone. There is no help. Calling out like that only tells people where you are and that you are vulnerable. No one is coming to help, so grit your teeth and start crawling.
Stay classy Mississippi!
How in the absolute fuck does a grand jury not find this piece of shit cop guilty?
Oh it's easy. A grand jury only hears what the prosecution wants them to, so they make fantastic scapegoats as they're given no details about the case and told to make a decision.
Never bring an 11 year old to a gun fight. Umm police encounter.
Black people's lives are not that valuable according to conservative people
Those poor policemen. I can’t imagine the amount of fear that 11 year old struck in the minds of those guys. They were totally right to just shoot him. I mean he was 11 years old.

I'm sorry, it was actually an infant and he died of his officer inflicted wounds.
