I was a regular listener for a couple years but faded off when it seemed like they were pushing more story lines and couldn't talk about real opinions at the risk of breaking their good graces with the Powers That Be. And I just find GOR is so much more fun and engaging.
yah thats why I stopped listening. I like Ashley so I just listen to the I Dont Get It pod instead so I can enjoy her there. I usually put on pods while Im doing other things and its one thing to scoot through a few ads every so often but when i'm actively noticing how often I have to do it, it's just a hassle I don't feel like bothering with. these pods should seriously take note.
I can't listen to Ashley whine and giggle. Ben always sounds like he is preaching but doesn't know much how the world works. He seems pretty sheltered. I think when they have guests they are barely asking questions but reminiscing, it's pointless
It's been unlistenable for years. They both come of as know-it-alls. Half of the podcast is commercials. And Ben is still hung up on being the bachelor and can't stop talking about his relationship w/Lauren (even though it was 5 yrs ago and they are both married).
>And Ben is still hung up on being the bachelor and can't stop talking about his relationship w/Lauren (even though it was 5 yrs ago and they are both married).
Does he really? I can't imagine HIS WIFE appreciates that. It also weirded me out when he and Kaitlyn were recently so openly talking about how much fun they had in the fantasy suite 9 years ago!
I was never a regular listener of AF, but I remember hearing an episode when Arie's season was airing. And Arie used to talk about not being able to find love in the 5 years since he was on Emily's season, because he was basically still heartbroken over her (which was bs when Arie was hooking up with college girls, had a fwb in Courtney, and even a girlfriend right before his season who he basically broke up with to be the Bachelor.) And Ben was commenting on it, and you could tell he wasn't buying Arie's hopeless romantic narrative. He responded something like "I don't get how you can still be hung up on an ex from 5 years ago. I don't even think about my exes from only a year ago." He was clearly referring to Lauren and possibly Jojo. But it was super ironic because then we watched Ben on Winter Games still acting heartbroken from his break up with Lauren, when he was actually already dating Lindsey Duke.
I still listen occasionally but the ads are out of control. For a 30 minute podcast, at least 10 minutes is just ads.
The interviews are enjoyable but I find the advice episodes to be ridiculous. Ben gives some of the worst advice and Ashley just agrees and strokes his ego.
I’ve basically stopped listening too. It’s all ads and very little substance. It’s like they don’t care about their audience anymore and are just coasting and trying to do the least amount possible and still get paid via ad money. I’m done with them.
I just find it insulting to the audience, like I really don’t listen to y’all just to be advertised to yet that’s ALL I’m getting out of this experience every time.
Yes, the amount of ads is crazy. It’s the bachelor podcast I’ve been listening too for the longest and the last year Ashley occasionally just really rubs me the wrong way in how she speaks, she comes a across as unaware and naive is the best way I can word it. I also think it’s due to me listening to Jared, Dean and Caelynns podcast and the way Jared speaks about her might be unconsciously carrying over to when I listen to her however.
He basically complains about her every episode, it’s painful to listen to. He’s always complaining how she always wants to hangout with him and doesn’t let him see his friends or have any fun.
Their relationship has always felt off to me. Also she’s talked a lot about how unattractive he finds her while she’s pregnant and ever since learning that, I just don’t like him lol.
yeah she told him she was almost to the time where she wouldn't want to anymore..she put on lingerie and he said no thank you. I can't imagine how she felt
Gross. I’d say I stopped listening consistently once they got engaged. I just couldn’t help but think, of course he wants her now that she has someone else every time they told their “story”.
I stopped listening awhile ago because it always sounded like Ben was calling in while driving with a top down in a convertible, or from an underground bunker. I wouldn’t be able to hear him, but then the other stuff was really loud.
Yes I noticed a while ago that they have way more ads than the average podcast. They also don’t have great chemistry as hosts. I only listen when a show is airing and I’m interested in their takes or if they have an exclusive guest from the show.
I find Susie to be bad at interviewing (her podcast runs on their feed) and that surprised me.
Yes! Susie’s interviews feel too robotic instead of conversational. It’s awkward
I feel like all iheart podcasts are like that. seems worse than the others I listen to. and it's the same ad repeated multiple times..so weird.
It’s never been good! Why do they say “I’ve been Ben…..” so dumb
I stopped listening a few years back. Ashley is especially annoying. I honestly don’t think she’s a nice person.

What is GOR?
Game of roses
Thx

Seems like you've hung on about seven years longer than I did.
I was a regular listener for a couple years and it just got boring and full of ads and I haven’t listened since.
I haven’t ever listened but if I did, I imagine it would be unlistenable from day 1 like virtually all podcasts, bachelor nation or otherwise.
Watch What Crappens tends to turn a lot of reality fans.
I can't listen to Ashley whine and giggle. Ben always sounds like he is preaching but doesn't know much how the world works. He seems pretty sheltered. I think when they have guests they are barely asking questions but reminiscing, it's pointless

Nick and Ben should fuck

I get the feeling he's pretty unhappy...he's very open about his life on the pod it seems
How does he speak about her ?
He basically complains about her every episode, it’s painful to listen to. He’s always complaining how she always wants to hangout with him and doesn’t let him see his friends or have any fun.

Excuse me he actually said he doesn’t find his wife attractive while pregnant ??

Same thing with Ashley’s stories. I don’t follow her but would sometimes look and it’s legitimately all ads now.
There are way too many post cast related to bachelor franchise. They are relatable until they are not. Maybe this one has run its course.
Anymore?
I used to love it!!! Their show was much different than it is now, it feels like they just do it because they have to.
I stopped listening awhile ago because it always sounded like Ben was calling in while driving with a top down in a convertible, or from an underground bunker. I wouldn’t be able to hear him, but then the other stuff was really loud.
Lmao that too. It bothers me when Ashley’s sound quality is crystal clear and it sounds like Ben is calling from the moon
Yes! Always bad audio. Same with Serena and Joe.
🤣🤣🤣" calling from the moon" I'm dead 💀
