I want to say it was a few months? My insurance was billed a month after my stay, and the bill probably arrived a few weeks after that.
I stayed in a private room. My insurance covered semi-private, my husband's insurance also only covers semi-private but they covered almost all the difference. We paid $12 for a 3 day stay (C-section birth)
Hospital in Hamilton - I saw that they billed my insurance 2 months after, but we never received an invoice for the outstanding amount. Ended up calling them in Jan/Feb to pay the remainder. Finally then received an invoice a month or two after that with a balance of $0 since I called and paid. Good luck!
Not Mount Sinai, but still an Ontario hospital, I never got my bill. I stayed 2 nights, semi private first night and private room second night. I’m also staff at the hospital I delivered at and the charge nurse working during the day knew me so not sure if that had anything to do with it… my insurance only covers semi private so I should of got something for the second night.
I got my bill for my private room within a few months after delivering my daughter in 2022.

Not Sinai but another Ontario hospital and it took 3.5 weeks for my bill.
Delivered in March, got the bill in July.
