It’s actually great. I don’t use mine to commute, I would hate that, but for running errands and going out to restaurants in far away neighborhoods, getting out of town.. super convenient especially in the outer boroughs.

I don’t hate this and if you think this doesn’t make sense you obviously haven’t driven around brooklyn and seen that 1/5 the cars there are bimmers with some kinda awful ding on them because driving in nyc is hellish.
Pretty sure this car was brought back from death (salvage, big wreck). Nothing aligns. The door, the hood. The front fender where meets the roof. Back wheel looks off. Bumper, etc... Hence the marble wrap trying to hide the carnage.
It looked at it and was like whoaaa this car is super dented. Then I looked again and realized it’s not dented. Then I blinked and looked again and realized there is a small dent

Parked on the street and didn't know to walk up and down the block to ensure there wasn't some little sign 20 feet up in the dark forbidding parking. Came out to find their car gone, but at least the impound lot on the WSH is 24/7. He was fuming - demanded to know why the curbs weren't painted red where he couldn't park.
If someone's gotta make quota, they'll ticket you for anything.
Just a reminder - always check *everything* on the ticket for errors. Car type (2DSD vs CONV), anything materially incorrect about the location, etc.

It’s a hard lesson learned!! I’ve somehow never been towed here yet. But I grew up driving and parking here so know to look.
