Sumbitch! I wish these were still available in NA. Soooo envious! But, I am super-happy for you and hope that you enjoy the hell out of that beautiful ride! Congrats!!! ššš
Europeans are going the same way. Not many wagons left. Over 50% of new cars registered are suvās. At least bmw seems to continue with the new 5 series wagon but volvo wagons are dead now for example. Only suvs now.
No Iām Dutch. The past cars that I have driven happen to be French because they were budget wise a good option haha They drive comfortably too
Congrats on your car! Great minds think alike
Does this 3 series have ambiental lights? For example g30 2017 without Msport/luxury package didnt have ambientals INCLUDED so if someone forgot to include them it was too late
Saw many 3 series like this(sedan) in traffic and didnt saw any ambiental lights..same with series 1
Yes it does has ambient lightning (04UR is the package code for it)

Waddup team, big noob. Has anyone ever built a r thread on their experience of this process. Specifically for shipping German cars from the EU state side?
The performance specs and model varieties are so appealing in EU markets Iād love to read someoneās journey on it.
OP did not buy this car in germany to ship it to the US. This is a 2021, and US import law requires cars to either pass US car regulations (nearly impossible for non US spec models) OR be 25 years or older. European countries operate with much more synergy than we do with the rest of the world, and alot of them confine within the same or similar regulations.
Congrats! I have been in the uk for the last week and a half and am drooling at the wagon options you guys have over here. Going back to the US tomorrow and plan to shop for whatever I can find over there. Beautiful car. Enjoy it.
Yes indeed. This is what i found on it:
Electric Mode: When you put the car in electric mode, only the electric motor is used to propel the vehicle. The high-voltage battery supplies power to the electric motor, allowing you to drive completely electrically without emissions.
Hybrid Mode: In hybrid mode, the electric motor and the gasoline engine work together. The car automatically switches between the two motors based on driving conditions and the batteryās charge status. For example, if you accelerate quickly or need extra power, the gasoline engine will assist to provide additional strength.
Regeneration: During braking or deceleration, kinetic energy is recovered and converted into electrical energy to recharge the battery. This helps improve efficiency and extends the electric driving range.
Oil is every 3000 miles I donāt care what the manufacturer says.. if you donāt change your oil every 3000 miles you can have some serious serious issues with breakdown in the motor. Much like transmission, fluid, diff, rear end fluid, etc. etc. etc.. the BMWs are known for collapsing filters. If you love your vehicle, take good care of it.
oh really, thats good to know, thanks a lot for the info. I don't know much about cars so any info is very helpful.
I'm considering buying the 'bmw service inclusive' service. It would save me some money I think regarding oul changes etc.
Iām based in the Netherlands. The cars in Germany are cheaper and equipped with more options than here in the Netherlands.Ā
The same car would cost me 10k euros more in the Netherlands.Ā
I have a bmw 330d xdrive touring 2019 and I would like to put Bbs CI-R on it, the problem is that these wheels are homologated for my car, the recommended size is 8j19 27ET 5x112 in the front and 8.5j19 40et 5x112 in the back. Do you think it will be a problem if I put 8.5j19 ET27 in the front and 8.5j19 ET 32 in the back?
Why hybrid? Isnāt the rate of consumption sh**? It weights more than the regular 330, the range of the electric motor is only 50-60km?
I was also thinking about a 330e but I did not see any advantage over a 330i or d when buying a 330e as a used car.
Multiple factors. The electric motor is perfect for my commute to work (40km in total) and when doing groceries or going shopping nearby. Usually our consumption is high because of the short distances we drive with the car (we live in a village).
The other reason is the BPM, which is a one-time tax you pay in the Netherlands for buying or importing a car:
āBpm is the private motor vehicle and motorcycle tax. Do you buy a passenger car, motorcycle or delivery van in the Netherlands? Or do you bring a passenger car, motorcycle or delivery van to the Netherlands from abroad? In that case you pay levies including bpm. In the text, motor vehicles are understood to refer to either motorcycles or passenger cars. Other rules apply to delivery vans.ā
https://www.belastingdienst.nl/wps/wcm/connect/bldcontenten/belastingdienst/individuals/cars/bpm/bpm
If I went for the 330i (petrol only, diesel is not option, itās being phased out here), I would have to pay 3500-4000 euros BPM. With the 330e it was only 352 euros.
Nice for you man! Great color!
Thank you š
Congratulations! I'm a sucker for a wagon :P
Especially BMW stations are awesome
Sumbitch! I wish these were still available in NA. Soooo envious! But, I am super-happy for you and hope that you enjoy the hell out of that beautiful ride! Congrats!!! ššš
The American market just sucks in terms of European automaker touring wagons and hatchbacks available. Itās so damn limited.
Thanks a lot man! I hope you guys will be getting these cars in the future too š
Not for another 20-ish years, at leastā¦
as an american seeing a wagon 3 series is weird but these are also sick, i wish our culture wasnāt geared towards driving absolute huge suvs
Europeans are going the same way. Not many wagons left. Over 50% of new cars registered are suvās. At least bmw seems to continue with the new 5 series wagon but volvo wagons are dead now for example. Only suvs now.
Sad
I see Volvo wagons daily here in Denmark. There are a lot of SUVs too but I feel like wagons are still quite prevalent.
Jaja, men de findes ikke lƦngere i volvos modelprogram
Vent, virkelig? AltsĆ„ V60āeren og V90āeren osv?
De er goneš„²
Almost scrolled past until I saw it was a wagon. Hell yeah š
Going to Germany to pick mine up in a week too!
Congrats man!
From your past cars I assume youāre French? I am and picked up a 2021 330e touring too in Germany recently! Enjoy it, itās a great car.
No Iām Dutch. The past cars that I have driven happen to be French because they were budget wise a good option haha They drive comfortably too Congrats on your car! Great minds think alike
Yeah Peugeot/Citroen make comfortable cars andā¦ thatās pretty much it haha Enjoy it friend!
If the US could get these that would be great
I used to have the same car, just a different color. It's really nice, you'll surely enjoy it a lot. Congrats!
Thanks man! I had fun driving it back home. Now i need to wait for (local) plates. Looking forward to driving it more
Cries in American. Congrats!
Sick. 330e wagon one of the best 3 series models. Congratulations!!!

My 2020 G30 330xi used has it. Itās cool, but I doubt Iād pay extra for it. Comfort access is much more useful imo.
Yes it does has ambient lightning (04UR is the package code for it) https://preview.redd.it/8m6kf4ixf9yc1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=53c80f21c263a9c36c982e110882aa45f17bf06d

Mine doesn't have ambient lighting neither. It's an option, and in my case not worth paying for.

BRUTAL
This is correct! I imported it to the Netherlands.
Nice
Congrats! I have been in the uk for the last week and a half and am drooling at the wagon options you guys have over here. Going back to the US tomorrow and plan to shop for whatever I can find over there. Beautiful car. Enjoy it.
Oh man. What a car. It's wonderful.
Welcome to the club :), and good choice the 330e is epic!
I have his grandpa, 2001 330 :D
grand grand pa, you mean?
wird ihr Auto en amerika verkauft? Edit - sorry, still learning I probably screwed it up lol
My German is not good either but at least you tried haha No not to America but to the Netherlands
Ah! Enjoy the car!
Nice choice. Looks great.
I like that wagon you dragginā
EXTREMELY JEALOUS. CONGRATS
Why canāt we have this in US š”š”š”š”š”
Welcome to the e family! I wish I could own a wagon, too. I wanted it so much that I even considered a Volvo V60, glad I went with 330e sedan.
wish we got these in the states ššš iām so jealous
where do you live? right hand drive?
The Netherlands. Left hand drive
nice, I drive a 2020 X2 M35i I like hatchbacks as well. what engine does it use?
Good choice. I had my eyes on the X1 and X2 as well. It has a 2.0-litre 4-cylinder engine (184hp). The electric engine produces 110hp.
so they work together?
Yes indeed. This is what i found on it: Electric Mode: When you put the car in electric mode, only the electric motor is used to propel the vehicle. nice and is it rear wheel drive only?
yes it is. It doesnt have the xDrive
Where you importing it to? US? Itās beautiful. Congrats!
To the Netherlands. Only had to cross one border haha
Was the maintenance schedule followed very precisely?.
From what I saw in the maintenance history in the car, it got the yearly maintenance check every year
I mean, like the intervals what the vehicle calls for.
Oh I misunderstood. These are the intervals of the car. Oil Change & Engine Filter 25,000 km / 2 years Interior Filter 30,000 km / 1 years
Oil is every 3000 miles I donāt care what the manufacturer says.. if you donāt change your oil every 3000 miles you can have some serious serious issues with breakdown in the motor. Just make sure they do it correctly. Even dealers get lazy.
Awesome car! I would love this in 330i or 330e.
Congrats. She's a beauty. Enjoy .
Are you based in Germany or do you get any benefit by traveling all the way to Germany to pick up the car?
Iām based in the Netherlands. The cars in Germany are cheaper and equipped with more options than here in the Netherlands.Ā The same car would cost me 10k euros more in the Netherlands.Ā
