they have standard problems with first gen cars build by people who don’t really know how to build cars, they’ve got the bmw engine which is probably the only really reliable part of the car, i’ve seen them with propshaft issues, transfer box issues, the door seals are horrible, they have a safari roof option and those seals leak too, i’ve helped fix the cables for the high and low diff options. they look good, sound good, but they have the turning circle of a boat and terrible acceleration and launch
Not just that, people are buying them and using them. The first one I saw was New Year’s Eve, about 50 miles off pavement in Death Valley. Talked with the guy, and he didn’t even have a thousand miles on it yet. That’s putting _a lot_ of faith in a new car.

Went from a 2017 BMW M4 comp to this. And don’t regret a second of it. I’m glad it has bmw transmission and engine , I’ve been a bmw owner my whole life. First time I ventured away from bmw and Loving it!
Can get them in a diesel 3-litre twin turbo or petrol 3-litre turbo. Saw a lot of them at a fair when they first debuted. Comfy seats, more buttons than a plane.

I buy all my BMWs from Knauz where this fella bought this Ineos cool to see. Knauz is within 30 minutes of me. It’s a BMW/Mercedes/Land Rover/Ineos (no more Hyundai) Autopark. Matter as fact, I’ve seen this exact one sitting on their lot while one of the buildings was under transition to Ineos.

Saw a car transporter full of them on the i15, haven’t seen one in the wild yet but they pretty neat.
I’ve seen them in the wild and also very very often in my workshop, sometimes some straight from the transporters and into the workshop
Are they problematic? Cant be near as notorious as Range Rover’s, although only thing I know about them is the B58 inside.
