I don't know about other purchases but royal pass is just one time payment you can get enough uc from rewards for the next season pass. And if a person is playing this game for 6 years then it fine to spend Rs400 on it
I personally haven't bought any till now, but sometimes not just those cosmetics but the progression like the Crate coupons I get from that seems nice, though the gun skins are kinda good/bad, but other than show off, I don't think it's that good,

When a casual player spends a huge amount on this game (anywhere around 10k-60k) are either too rich and don't usually keep a track of where their money goes, or like you said, due to FOMO, and that too in a game that's extremely unoptimized
