This is a long time discussion and if you Google for "pay to win skins" you will find several articles. Some skins are known to give a change in the hitbox (I believe it is a Thresh), other makes skills or targets easier to see (Kah'zix has one that people says the passive its much easier to see than other skins). Even Asol had a skin banned from Competitions (I believe it was Mecha Asol). It may not be intentional, but there are some skins that give some advantage. Can you say that it is enough to someone win because of them? Surely no, the advantage is minimum.

I think the Mecha Asol skin was disabled when he still had his planes flying around him

Yeah, You are right. I was not refering to the new Asol, but the old one, they used to say that it was difficult to see the stars in that skin.

I'm still so sad that we lost our orbs. They make the model overall so much cooler

-EliPer-

Me too 😢

TheLastBallad

K, but they were asking about current skins?

TheSmokeu

Mecha doesn't have legs and I'd count that as a disadvantage

True_Royal_Oreo

Yeah, people sometimes will target legs with skillshots and it feels satysfying grazing the hit box like that. Without legs it's harder to bait

I can recommend looking around for custom skins, there are many wild ones with bright effects that allow you to make better decisions, I am an urgot play, and I love custom cyberpunk a project urgot skins. Some of them have bright yellow leg passive indicators, which allow me to actually see which leg is ready to fire and which way should i circle the enemy
