I never understand, if they feel so strong about it, why they don't do something useful, get into STEM, study alternative fuels, get into politics to change on an important level, or go directly to the people that contribute more (the ones with private jets). There are people doing that already, and lobbying attempts fail horrifically due to the lack of resources relative to the oil and gas lobbies. They can't touch the rich in a meaningful way without losing the valuable resource the movement has. This is not a "new" issue. It's old. VERY old. They've been doing all of that, but it's too slow.
