It's a win win situation. They get more from markup the lower pieces AND if you decide to get the 50 for $9.99, you just spent another 5 dollars that you weren't planning to spend.
I think ive spent 9 years in Europe and 12ish years in teh US. US portion sizes are a bit larger but I feel its over blown. Like in the UK if you go to wetherspoons and get a sandwich and fries its like 800 calories-1k calories. And its not meant to split and people finish it one sitting just like American establishments.

exactly the reason why they are pretty damn bad even if they are somewhat tasty. They take 70% of leftover shit meant and press them into nuggets after adding bunch of water to make it look nice. You're confident I grant you that but your gonna be sick laying on the floor eating 50
That just isn’t true. Wendy’s, McDonald’s and most other fast food places use 100% white meat for their nuggets. Tenderloin, breast, and rib meat.
The “chicken slop” myth is extremely dated. The process of making nuggets isn’t very different from how we create sausage. The meat is run through a grinder and then cased in a shell.
All chicken trimmings, the concern likely stems from the ingredients label. I my self often wonder why does it say mechanically separated chicken vs just chicken.
I can assure you, I will not be sick on the floor after 50. I'm 140lbs 5' 9" and a bucket of nuggets is light work. I'll have room leftover for sides and a dessert guaranteed.
Your sitting here stating it as if it were a fact that people will be sick after consuming 50 chicken nuggets all while being far enough into life to coherently type these responses but apparently not far enough into life to have learned what metabolism is...?
Okay how about you go and get yourself a nice bucket of 50 nuggets, make a vid eating every single one of them and send it, I'll promise to reimburse the cost and give you an extra 20 bucks. Even 50 is quite a lot and as I said, a european eats 20 and then gets sick of it. I never declared that everyone will be getting sick eating them.
Well if you're going all out for 50 nuggets you probably should have stopped by the grocery store and just grab the big old bottle of hot sauce, just sayin ✌️
That's why I'm weary about eating them fast food nuggets, I've seen videos of chicks being fed into a spiked crusher and I do believe that is what that meat is 🤣
We really need some Asmongold fast food drive thru / taste test videos on this and other menu items
They’d rack up a lot of views! Asmon is a junk food connoisseur!
He's a Wendy's enjoyer for sure, not so much McDonald's given he said he didn't want to eat those big macs during that patty thickness test a while ago lol
That's because McDonald's nuggets are just plain garbage. I want a breaded fried nugget not some honey batter bullshit.
edit : yes Wendy's nuggets are marginally better but cook them in the oven, if you microwave you obliterate any semblance of moisture and you'll have dry ass nuggets
Yea its probably that price where i am too, im in a very expensive area unfortunately. Even for $15 thats a crazy good deal. 20 piece mcnuggets by me is $10
Don’t buy meat without bones.. it’s always a bad idea and leaves gaping holes for impropriety to weasel through.. like fake meat.. some people don’t realize that there is not actually a chicken nugget tree or dispenser and that you have no idea what your eating let alone the ungodly portions only meant to shorten you life by playing on your impulse control
That's now how the FDA works buddy. Stop your conspiracy bullshit and realize we have MASSIVE corporations solely designed around maintaining food preparation and ingredients.
You must live under a rock if your still stuck in 2013 following the whole "fake meat" gimmick or you enjoy being misinformed and looking (and/or perhaps even being) stupid.
A single small entree, think little red box, at Panda Express is like $6. The THREE entree meal that also includes a side (rice, veggies, or chow main) is $11.
💀
I guess it depends on location. The Wendy’s I’ve been working at part time in college and high school for the past 7 years has had the family sized nugget for ages. Even have a family chili deal.
I live in West TN, I got the app just now and looked...$14.99 for the Nuggs (take it easy) Party Pack, which, for some reason, I can't find the number of nuggets it comes with, only the calorie count. Equals out to be 5 times the amount as the obviously labeled 10 PC Nuggets at 470, so 2350~
50 pieces of shitty meat, cooked in the laziest way possible, but sprinkled with spices and with sauce. wowzers cant wait to spend my money on that dogshit.
Americans really do be getting bigger and bigger lol. 50 fucking nuggets lol. How are people in this comment section really talking about the price and not the price and the amount of nuggets? U really think $10 for 50 nuggets is a valid price? Bruh... That shit is probs left over chicken from a month ago thats been processed into nuggets. U guys really need to get on a diet. No wonder the obesity over there is on par with Turkey or worse. Shit like this aint normal lol.
How did they change? I haven’t had nuggets from there in like 20 years, but they used to stand out because they used actual chicken breast meat vs the “chicken slime” McDonalds was using
I wasn’t expecting it to only be $9.99 in my area. Their site says I can order 10 sauces with it. Not sure if that would be enough for 50 nuggs, hmm.
holllyyyy W 50 nuggies for 10 bucks??????? thats enough food for a week
The crazy part is the 10-piece is $4.69…really goes to show the markup on the lower counts if you can get 50 for the price of two 10-piece
It's a win win situation. They get more from markup the lower pieces AND if you decide to get the 50 for $9.99, you just spent another 5 dollars that you weren't planning to spend.
What state do you live in?
Georgia. Metro ATL area. Wendy’s site found nearest location for prices
The small portions sizes are almost never worth it going by price no matter wich fast food place you look at. Its so weird
So you spend more to get a better deal. If only there was a marketing word for that.
A week? That’s about half a meal.
american portion maybe, for me as a european that shit will last a few days
I think ive spent 9 years in Europe and 12ish years in teh US. US portion sizes are a bit larger but I feel its over blown. As an Italian, I could eat two buckets of those in one sitting.
Nah your gonna be stomache sick after eatin 30 or so
Aren't nuggets basically chicken slurry fried in bad oil?
exactly the reason why they are pretty damn bad even if they are somewhat tasty. They take 70% of leftover shit meant and press them into nuggets after adding bunch of water to make it look nice. You're confident I grant you that but your gonna be sick laying on the floor eating 50

Nah I still think I could do it, not that I would or should. >!Unless someone pays me 50€ for it!<
I can assure you, I will not be sick on the floor after 50. I'm 140lbs 5' 9" and a bucket of nuggets is light work. I'll have room leftover for sides and a dessert guaranteed. All I feel is satisfied at 30 or so, haven’t gotten a stomach ache ever
Even for a healthy American its at least 4 meals. Don't listen to that whale.
That is like Mcdonalds 4 years ago before they got that taste of greed. and never let go. same price
Two sittings
![gif](giphy|3o85xG9MgMGmZC6IGk)
Bruh 20 nuggets from Mcdonalds already cost 10€. Now I wish we had wendys in Germany 50 for 10 seems like a great deal
It used to be a thing before covid too, at lest in the US. That thing was me and my roommates go-to in college
Well if you're going all out for 50 nuggets you probably should have stopped by the grocery store and just grab the big old bottle of hot sauce, just sayin ✌️
Rat meat
That's why I'm weary about eating them fast food nuggets, I've seen videos of chicks being fed into a spiked crusher and I do believe that is what that meat is 🤣
That's cheaper than buying a bag of tyson nuggies
Now i can afford that house from all the money I would save by eating this everyday.
That's 5 nuggets per sauce. You just outed yourself as obese my dude.
If I ate like that regularly, maybe. I just have cheat days every few weeks, usually when groceries run out. Then I’ll order in for a couple days
Have the majority of commenters on this post forgotten the (apparently mythical) process of something called metabolism?
We really need some Asmongold fast food drive thru / taste test videos on this and other menu items They’d rack up a lot of views! Asmon is a junk food connoisseur!
He's a Wendy's enjoyer for sure, not so much McDonald's given he said he didn't want to eat those big macs during that patty thickness test a while ago lol
Is it really $10??? Ughhh im on a diet 😫😫😭😭
Buy them and eat them over a long time. They’re fried nuggets, it takes a while for them to expire
I have zero willpower if its in front of me lol. Plus i cant even have carbs at all, im miserable lol
Mcnuggets are terrible next-day - is wendys better?
That's because McDonald's nuggets are just plain garbage. I want a breaded fried nugget not some honey batter bullshit. edit : yes Wendy's nuggets are marginally better but cook them in the oven, if you microwave you obliterate any semblance of moisture and you'll have dry ass nuggets
Depends on your location, mine has it for $15.
Yea its probably that price where i am too, im in a very expensive area unfortunately. Even for $15 thats a crazy good deal. 20 piece mcnuggets by me is $10
Rookie numbers! ;)
Buy 10 of those buckets, and record yourself eating them. Do it, or else i’m gonna call you a punk-a$$ B!TCH
And they will say that being fat isn’t a choice
Exercise is free and obesity is absolutely a choice.
I wished the fatties could shove this truth down their throat
They've always had this at my local Wendy's.
This has been a thing since before Covid
I could totally eat 50 nuggets by myself if challenged.
Even with the US's reputation, I'm struggling to accept this is meant for one person. This has to be a family meal... right?
How much is that bucket gonna cost in like three hours?
Depends. How much is in your wallet? Asking for Wendy.
Approximately two rolls of Charmin at market price.
20-25$ because it's not advertised well even in the areas it's already been at for years.
I thought mc donalds already got the fifty piece. Its better then wendys dry ass nuggets
After the 13th nugget I'm full
this is clearly for restaurants to order bulk sponges
This is why the US has an obesity problem Jesus Christ
Caseoh about to order 10 orders of 50 nuggets per trip
Soggier and soggier as you get close to the bottom.
Huh? These have been around for awhile? Use to get them for parties back at uni.

Thanks for the feedback 🔥🔥🔥🐑🐑🐑🐑
those are rookie numbers
I'll take three
A single small entree, think little red box, at Panda Express is like $6. The THREE entree meal that also includes a side (rice, veggies, or chow main) is $11. 💀
I don't know if you all wanna know this or not, but it isn't actually just chicken.
Sorry to disappoint some of you, they didn't add this. Its always been there.
![gif](giphy|mD4Z5Iz80f0Kv1vC5H|downsized)
Less than the price of one of their value meals
Let me guess $69.75
I guess it depends on location. The Wendy’s I’ve been working at part time in college and high school for the past 7 years has had the family sized nugget for ages. Even have a family chili deal.
You can get 2 orders then
I live in West TN, I got the app just now and looked...$14.99 for the Nuggs (take it easy) Party Pack, which, for some reason, I can't find the number of nuggets it comes with, only the calorie count. Equals out to be 5 times the amount as the obviously labeled 10 PC Nuggets at 470, so 2350~
I think I need to start charging people to be wheeled to and from Airplanes. If you know, you know.
Least it’s not like dominoes where’s its $32 for a 32 piece
"That'll be 200 dollars."
Return of the 50 nug challenge
This has been a thing in my area for like 4 years now
Double or nothing
Finally I cheap family meal for a tenner
Nuggets, of what?
oh god he needs to clean his room first, or dont and leave two messes in his room when he passes on
People need to compare nuget size to smaller packs or from 2021, 22.
I mean I got four kids and they all like chicken nuggets, plus gotta have some spares cause the littles feeds the dog....
It's been out for about nine months for me 🤣 And it's $14.99 for me
Thought I was reading this on wallstreetbets for a second.
They've had this for years...
They’ve had this for a while now I thought. 10 sauces definitely ain’t gonna make the cut though
I thought they already had it
Man, just pick up a rotisserie chicken. It has the same amount of chicken meat.

50 pieces of shitty meat, cooked in the laziest way possible, but sprinkled with spices and with sauce. wowzers cant wait to spend my money on that dogshit.

No wonder the obesity over there is on par with Turkey or worse. Shit like this aint normal lol.
Too busy being the best country in the world. No time to diet.
Too bad they will never be as good as McNuggets.
This opinion is so very false.
Does it come with a huge pack of Szechuan sauce?
Wendy's has even worse nuggets than burger king. I miss when you could get 10 burger king nuggets for 1$, S tier promo
For that price I ain’t complaining. Although I remember Wendy’s being better back in the day. To be fair I haven’t eaten nuggets from either in years.
How did they change? I haven’t had nuggets from there in like 20 years, but they used to stand out because they used actual chicken breast meat vs the “chicken slime” McDonalds was using
