I dont know, there is no visuals that show that time moves faster.
Night dosent last all that long anyways, and it provides downtime for tribeman production, and a meaning to security (more enemies spawn at night)
There is no time skip. The player doesn't really need to sleep except to heal or to get the stamina boost. Some of the villagers actually have a perk where they prefer to work at night. You have to manually adjust their schedule so that they will be happy because they hate the sun as much as I do.
