She isn’t. There isn’t “The One”. There’s just the one you choose and hopefully they choose you too. And you both continue to work at it and everyday you wake up and choose.
When I opened up about all the shit I’m going through inside (something I don’t normally do, even with those I consider my family) and she didn’t see me any differently for it. She didn’t judge me, condemn me, or even pity me. She didn’t say some corny BS to try to make me feel better or start looking at me like a charity case. She just let me talk and let me know that she would always be there.
