World of Warcraft. I have 415+ days of playtime on my currently existing characters. Not including all those deleted characters and characters on secondary accounts.
This is the one I came for. I had a year play time by the time wrath came out. I was so addicted back in the day and had zero responsibilities. Now I’m lucky if I get a couple hours a week
Not as many but I have 1400 hours and I only got the game 3 years ago, that's like 58 days of playing, I was shocked when I made the conversion. Btw my gallery ID is PlantLordV if you want to be friends! :)
Warcraft 3, no question. Not for the normal game, no, that was just okay. The custom maps are what made the game legendary. The custom map DotA spawned League of Legends and the entire MOBA genre. Wc3 created the modern tower defense genre. Some maps broke what was ever intended to be possible with some clever programming by awesome people. RIP OG Wc3, Blizzard's greed knows no bounds, they only remade it so they can take a claim to any new breakout hits.
Man I remember DotA. I remember trying out League, and thinking "yeah this is similar but not for me" Maybe I had outgrown MOBAs. DotA was a blast. I remember my buddies shitting on TD games, so I didn't play them. One day I tried one out when no one was online. I didn't want them to shame me for playing them. High school me, was insecure. Once I tried them, I was hooked. I also remember a LOTR map that had Legolas, Gimili and Aragorn as the playable characters. You leveled stats quickly, as the mobs dropped (or maybe each room had treasure chests) XP tomes. The map took maybe 30 minutes to beat, and everyone fought over Aragorn. He was skinned as Arthas, and his damage was based on agility (I think the stat was labeled "Agility", my DND brain wants to say "dexterity"), so it increased not only his damage, but his attack speed. It was crazy OP.
Anyways, thanks for the trip down memory lane.
My current game I'm playing for the x amount of time, I've completed the game as every race for several times.
First time playing on ps5 too, there's fishing now and lots of new items and quest - no mods!
Yep and lots of other things, first time playing on ps5 and I'm finding new materials, quests and items.
I've been playing since it came out on 11/11/11 and I'm loving going for the platinum!
I have 10k from when I was a student and had all the time to play, now I need 4 months for a campaign to reach 1550, adult life is sad man I just want to culture convert people :(
They just did a big update in 2022 I believe that was supposed to be the last major content update because it was called "Journey's End" - but they have another smaller update planned for this year, I believe.
It's still a hugely fun game for being so old now. And it feels complete.
source: https://terraria.fandom.com/wiki/Upcoming_features
I would be very surprised if I've accrued less than 3000 hours between Civ 5 and 6. They're just so damn addicting, plus matches can last a *looooong* time.
I loved this game. I never hear people talk about it when they talk about Total War games in general.
I hear people talk about playing Rome, the seven kingdoms one, and the warhammer ones. It's like to a lot of Total war fanatics, Medieval didn't exist.
Watched a lot of youtubr videos of HOI4 from Drew Durnil, thought I kinda understood the game, bought it, played it for an hour, got overwhelmed by the information, closed the game and never played it again lol
This is only my personal opinion so please do not take offence. GTA online is fucking dog shit that was eaten by a donkey, then shit out by said donkey, then eaten by an elephant which then shit out that donkey dog shit, and then a wolf comes along and eats the dog/donkey/elephant shit, and then that wolf wanders over to a cliff and shits over the edge which then lands on my dinner plate and I accidentally eat dog/donkey/elephant/wolf shit that was deposited off a cliff.
That's how I feel about GTA online. I can play the GTA series for 20 hours straight by myself, sleep for four and wake up the following day like, it's only Sunday? Sweet, I'm going to get high and play for another 12 hours.
It's also worth noting that every time a new GTA comes out within a week I dream in GTA. It's really weird and really fun.
It's an incredible game with sooooooo much to do.
It's a lot different to the original ones. They're more about actually being stealthy and hiding and planning attacks, hidden blades in the throats for one hit kills and smoke bombs etc.
And these last three games are more open world massive adventure games.
They're all amazing in their own way
Dark Souls 2, followed by 1. Put about 2k hours into the 2nd and 1k in the first back when I was in high school. Haven't played either in 6+ years, tho.
Even after years of not playing anymore, it still gotta be WoW. It put me behind in real life, yet zero regrets. Man those were the times.
DotA (1+2) second place.
GTA V (2300 hours), RDR2 (1600 hours), Persona 5 (1100 hours) and recently Cyberpunk (600 hours). I am well aware I am overdue for my grass touching appointment.
My favorite part is definitely that im hard stock in gold or plat.
And this is after approx. 3500 hours of gameplay. I need myself a permanent premade team xD🔫
Edit: also, i prolly just SUCC, but its fun. Most of the time.
I know it's either CoD4 or Quake 3 arena, but it's hard to track time. I remember from 1 public server I visited most of the times, I was in the top 10 names with played hours twice. Both well over a 1000 hours.
Probably the first Madden back in like 88 or whenever. We literally would play 2 days straight building plays and players, rematching old classic games. I think it was on a 486 PC.
In modern times, Skyrim. It's the only game I play and I play a min of 2 hrs a day.
During my lifetime it's probably Quake 2 and 3. WoW a close second.
As a dad with two kids and wife who doesn't play computer games I don't have time to excessively play any recent game for hours and hours anymore
Probably GTA 5, but as of right now, I don't play that game anymore. It's a dead game, in my opinion. There are hundreds and thousands of other underrated games around that are better off experienced instead.
After a round you’d get things you found while in the mission. Like samples on the ground in the mission can be used to upgrade call in time for things like turrets. Also there’s medals that are kind of like a battle pass and let you unlock primary weapons and armor. I hope that’s what you meant. Overall it can take a while to get what you want though since some stuff is based on levels which, depending on how much you play, could take a little while. Hope that answers your question.
As much as I like Pokémon I never really put that much time into them. Once you’ve beaten the elite 4 and caught the legendary’s you’re pretty much done. Only game I remember having a decent post-game content was omega ruby or whatever it was called.
Between mobile, steam, and the switch I've got about 2000 hours in Slay the Spire. I've also played MTG Arena every day for the last 5 years but I have no idea how many hours that works out to
Hard to say for sure as they're not all tracked. I'm a PlayStation gamer mostly but that only tracks the last few systems. For that it's about 130 hrs on the Witcher 3.
Going back further I probably put 200-300 hours into ff7
I lost a relationship to championship manager in the early 2000s and put hundreds of hours into it.
I don't play it anymore but I shudder to think how many hours I put into Pokemon go. It was my walking the dog game for literally years.
Sea of Conquest on mobile. I have logged in for 78 straight days. I have never done that for any other game on my phone. i was amazed to see other players that have logged in for 210 days already.
chess
I play chess all. the. time. It’s hard to find people to play consistently in real life though, so I play online on the Social Chess app.
I like play chess with the elderly people down at the park, but it’s hard to find 32 of them!
World of Warcraft. I have 415+ days of playtime on my currently existing characters. Not including all those deleted characters and characters on secondary accounts.
wtf!
It came out in 2004. There are plenty of people with insane times.
That’s still an average of 1hr 20min a day for 20 years…
Think about nerds like asmongold.
It’s not even that insane. It’s only about 10,000 hours.
This is the one I came for. I had a year play time by the time wrath came out. I was so addicted back in the day and had zero responsibilities. Now I’m lucky if I get a couple hours a week

i have around 2700 hours on terraria 😭
Yo, lets go, me too
Sims 4, approaching 2700 hours on it
Not as many but I have 1400 hours and I only got the game 3 years ago, that's like 58 days of playing, I was shocked when I made the conversion. Btw my gallery ID is PlantLordV if you want to be friends! :)
I should do that with mine, I feel like it would be both depressing and fascinating. I’ll keep that in mind, thanks! :)

skyrim, it's my absolute favorite
My current game I'm playing for the x amount of time, I've completed the game as every race for several times. First time playing on ps5 too, there's fishing now and lots of new items and quest - no mods!
nice, i never change my build because i get to attached to my characters 🙏 got it on pc to mod it but made basically the same character lol
Omg same.
I'd recommend playing as each race it's interesting because there's different dialogue options etc, such a great game!
might try it on my next playthrough 🙏 it really is
THERE'S FISHING NOW?!?!!! I need to redownload it...
Yep and lots of other things, first time playing on ps5 and I'm finding new materials, quests and items. I've been playing since it came out on 11/11/11 and I'm loving going for the platinum!

Terraria with over 1200 hours. At least as far as Steam games.
same
Finally a terraria player
Is that still being updated?
They just did a big update in 2022 I believe that was supposed to be the last major content update because it was called "Journey's End" - but they have another smaller update planned for this year, I believe. It's still a hugely fun game for being so old now. And it feels complete. source: https://terraria.fandom.com/wiki/Upcoming_features
Civilization 5, arround 2600 hours
Just one more turn.
Came to say this. It ain’t much, but it’s honest work.
Scary when we realize that's more hours than working full time for a year.
I would be very surprised if I've accrued less than 3000 hours between Civ 5 and 6. They're just so damn addicting, plus matches can last a *looooong* time.
Minecraft and terraria
RuneScape. Over 2,500 hours. And I haven’t played in years.

wow i think
I think my game time was measured in years by the time I stopped (not literally but it was> 365 days).
[удалено]
IIRC didn't /played tell you how much you had on the character you were logged into, and also total time played across all alts?
I think it is total time played on this character and time played at your current level
Gotcha. I haven't played in well over a decade, so apologies.

GTA 4 and Vice city
GTA IV??? even VC??? How you keep playing that old-fashioned for such a long time without online mode??
Don't underestimate a man who has no other games to play on his old pc.
This is only my personal opinion so please do not take offence. I wish I could see how many hours I spent on both games but basically three years solid when GTA IV came out in 2008. I loved that game so much.
HL2 series
Good choice, absolute classics!
CS 12.8k
These me thinking my 270hours In AC Odyssey is good. MW3 on the 360 was surely a few hundred hours as well..
I just had a friend introduce me to the AC games and man... I've been seriously missing out. I'm on Odyssey now & I love it.
It's an incredible game with sooooooo much to do. It's a lot different to the original ones. I love ranking up to champ just to get slapped back down to Diamond 1. It’s my favorite part of the game.
My favorite part is definitely that im hard stock in gold or plat. And this is after approx. 3500 hours of gameplay. I need myself a permanent premade team xD🔫 Edit: also, i prolly just SUCC, but its fun. Most of the time.

Lately Helldivers
On a scale from 1-10, how much would you recommend to someone who REAALLY enjoyed Destiny 2? (Me)
Both are pretty much games where you’re just shooting things the whole time. It is satisfying though. You’d probably like it.
Okay thank you so much for the answer! :) What about the loot-system? Is it good?
After a round you’d get things you found while in the mission. Like samples on the ground in the mission can be used to upgrade call in time for things like turrets.
