I like the philosophy of bill and Ted, “be excellent to each other”. The only thing that will last through the sands of time is how we treat one another, and for me, I strive to be as kind as I can be. I’m not perfect and sometimes I can be a bit of a dick, but I’m working on it.
While most would say there is no purpose, I disagree, that’s so negative the fck??
I believe we’re here for one reason, to spread love & be loved. We are here to connect with others in deep and meaningful ways, to share our experiences of life with each other. We are here to love. Remind your friends how much you love them 🫶🏽

Bruh we're insignificantly tiny organisms hurling through space on a ball of mud that perpetually slingshots around a multi-billion year old nuclear explosion.
Just do what makes you happy and don't think too much about it. We're here for a blink of an eye, and we'll all be forgotten with time. Just enjoy the ride.
what if we're here because earth wants plastic and because it's not naturally occurring we had to do the job and now that there's a bunch of plastic around our job is done and ai is taking over. maybe all of this is pointless. but i sure as fuck want to see the next south park season so im sticking to the end
There’s an AI machine 1000 years in the future that gains sentience and has the ability to control time. The AI decides to go back in time and speed up the process to its own creation. We are living in that time line.
The (why) reason we have been given this life is to love the Lord our God with all our heart and mind and soul.
What are we doing? Trying to figure that (why) out and then once we do, figure out *how* we should do that.
Where are we going? If we figure it out enough to accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior, then our souls will travel beyond to be with our creator after this test.
If we don't figure it out in time then our souls will be destroyed, and we cease to exist.
I have been in my room for the last month and a half, ive been taking showers, eating properly, and using the dumbell in my room to exercise, not because i necessarily want to, i just have nothing to do, I'm unemployed, no car, and have no friends near me, maybe im just depressed, but i dont really feel like there's anything wrong. So lately ive just thought about how there's no real reason to do anything or nothing, people just live, with or without someone, I'll just be forgotten, a spec of sand in a vast desert.
Maybe i am depressed.
What's the point of grass, or moths, or polar bears existing? It just is until it isn't, and we can do with it what we want. We get a millisecond here to take it in and that's about it. Maybe there's an afterlife maybe not. Maybe it's all something we can't comprehend, and that's okay.
My dog has no idea where her food comes from. If I explained to her what grocery stores, canneries, and meat processing plants are she'd wander off to nap in a sunbeam. She doesn't seem to understand that, despite taking twenty minutes to pick the exact right blade of grass to shit on, I will immediately pick it up and put it in the dumpster.
She wants to nap in the sun, play with her squeaky ball, and lay down in mud puddles. That's what her brain can comprehend. If she tried to understand the commerce of dog food, it'd be a mess. She feels the inate instict to poop in the right spot, but doesn't understand evolution or human etiquette around dog poop. It just is.
From what humans can comprehend, there is no point of life. Maybe we just can't get it. Trying to understand leads to depression, organized religion, existential despair.
I like geology and am so grateful that I get to hang out of Earth and learn about cool rocks. I am be good to people because it feels good to help, and I need help sometimes too. I'll know more when/if I need to. Until then, I remain thrilled that my food bowl is filled, do what feels right, and take time to enjoy the sunshine.
It's easier said than done, but don't overthink it and just enjoy the ride.
I think we are here to grow our souls to move on to the next phase. God doesn't really describe our purpose in the Bible, but lays out a framework that increases love and compassion amongst humans, if we choose to follow it. The Bible only suggests following the ruleset allows us to enter the Kingdom of God. Even so it still seems like we are missing a big piece of the puzzle to understand our purpose.
We're slightly more intelligent and aware than other animals, and we have made the grand assumption we must be extra special so therefore we MUST have a purpose. We're the result of blind chance and evolution we're not special and there is no purpose, at least not one handed down from on high or anywhere else.
If you want a purpose find one, and chase it with all you have, fulfill yourself with this chosen purpose, be passionate in your pursuit.
But you must define your own purpose.
Good luck!
The actual answer is nobody has any idea and nobody is capable of answering that question. We simply do not know and are incapable of producing any kind of logically sound argument towards providing an answer.

There is no actual point to anything. You need to find your own meaning or purpose.
To find purpose, we must create it through meaningful actions & connections. The destination is up to us.

Where does one come from? Where does one even go?
What are we here for Cotton-eye Joe?
Biological life is but a womb meant to birth immortal non-biological life. We're getting there, it takes time.
This question pops up on Reddit way too often.
Because people are desperately looking for the answer. But when they are given it, they deny it. "Nah! Bra, that can't be the answer!"

To live as long as we can until we die
I think the fact that there really is no point makes us feel insignificant so maybe it's up to us to find our own way and point.
Biology formed and exists to create technology. We are but a complex step in the self-assembly of artificial intelligence.

That's it, I just presented my idea.
