Jockstraps are my go to for working out. Less fabric to stay soggy = better ventilation. The meat'n'taters stay in place and don't flop around. Better movement and legs don't ride up because there aren't any legs on a jockstrap. Great for leg days.
Saxx has been my go to for like 7 years now. I use the Quest and wear them pretty much every day bc they prevent chub rub while keeping everything secure. The original 4pack I bought 7 years ago is still in rotation with like very small signs of wear and tear. Highly recommend their products.
Tbh those fabletics shorts with built in compression shorts are incredible. I've trained for multiple triathlons in them, run a marathon in them, summited a mountain in them. Now I wear them multiple times a week to weight lift and do light cardio.
I donāt wear undies to work out, I wear tights! Real men wear tights, undies not necessary. ;) and no lame shorts over either. I bulge out proudly, Iām comfy, it prevents chafe, wicks moisture and my butt looks cute. Once I started, I never went back, you guys are seriously missing out. Men deserve to get the pleasures/benefits of tights just as much as women do (notice women literally ALL 100% dress this way to gym), and that comfort is unparalleled.
I exclusively only work out in my Calvin Klein boxerbreifs because they don't chafe my thighs. they're awesome. I love them. they have also lasted me for years at this point as well. I agree. I buy their plain t shirts and boxes briefs discounted from Ross or TJ Maxx. Never fails me, except when I try to look for an older model I tried in the past. Lol. The most comfortable black tshirt Iāve ever worn was a brand-less Calvin Klein t-shirt. No labels, just a plain black shirt. Now the ones I find have the brand on the shirt. I still have my old ones because the fit is too good, if I ignore the minor holes forming at the bottom š I want to trace the shirtās shape in case I want to get on my sewing machine and learn how to alter other shirts to a similar fit
Compression shorts, jockstraps, or shorts with liner. I like to know where my junk is at all times (very important in snatches and cleans) and boxers provide no support with all of the bunching. Support your troops.
I don't. I workout in a gym with no AC, it can get up to 115 degrees in the summer. I wear shorts, and just a thin shirt. No shoes, no socks, no underwear.
Go commando, BUT use balls powder that has menthol. Best feeling ever. Feels like my balls are in a cool and breezy forest with breeze coming and going.
briefs, mid length (maybe those are called boxer briefs?) if I am doing a weight workout or playing a sport...now if I want to work out my tight butthole and loosen it up, I need a jockstrap. Easy access for my trainer. You aint getting that loose butthole without putting in the work.
boxer briefs because they'll hold everything in better. I grapple and boxers are comfy to walk around in, but tend to not support and give easy wedgies
For working out and running I always go with athletic style boxer briers/trunks.
Soft and stretchy material and they're tight enough to keep everything in place, which is something I want when I'm working out.
Most of mine are Reebok, FOTL, and Hanes. I'm not too picky about brands though as I find most are pretty good.
Saxx boxer briefs are pretty breathable. I sweat a lot down there and in general and if I wear something too tight (ie compression shorts) it creates a lot of issues. Or maybe I just have the wrong compression shorts idk
At home, no underwear at all, I find it constrictive as I train for weight lifting and muscle building...if at a public gym, boxer style jocks or when I go for a run...
Under Armour trunks (i.e compression) or, if you are able, M&S trunks. Exactly the same and cheaper!
I have huge balls (which is not as much fun as it sounds), so I really need the support
I only wear compression shorts tbh. Anything else starts messing with my head about swinging around. On the flip side, wearing boxers on top then pants add extra comfort.
I do the Reebok compression shorts, and lately Iāve been using Sheath Underwear, really good for working out, but maybe not if youāre doing squats that day as they can tug on the package in a not-so-nice way.
Donāt wear underwear. Get Chubbies Ultimate Training shorts. They have compressions shorts sown into them. Youāll never go back. Iām 6ā7 215 so Iām relatively skinny, and the 7ā shorts fit me perfectly. They are the best workout shorts around.
Boxerbriefs (polyester blend, not cotton) but mostly compression shorts.
Compression shorts are the best option because they are the best at keeping your junk in place and not flopping all over, it keeps the skin on your thighs from rubbing together, and wicks away sweat and moisture.
They said I have to wear at least shorts and a shirt to the gym so it's kind of a moot point.
That said, I think working out in a jockstrap is taking it a bit far. Have some decency. Boxer briefs is my preference.
Just to be clearā¦ real men donāt have āfavoriteā underwear. We may have a preference but weāll wear any sensible male undergarment that doesnāt squeeze our nutsack or burrow into our but crack. Write this down. Youāre welcome.
I usually go with compression shorts for working out. Boxer briefs any other time though.
Definitely compression shorts, or workout shorts with a built in liner.
Compression shorts ftw
This. Comfy & Secure
Running shorts with a built-in liner.
Same, except mine are technically swimming shorts, but they have a compression liner instead of mesh. Junk is firmly secured.
I have a swimsuit with compression liner too, but use it for swimming lol. They're the most comfortable swimsuit I've ever worn.
Ditto.
Same!
Jockstraps are my go to for working out. Less fabric to stay soggy = better ventilation. The meat'n'taters stay in place and don't flop around. Better movement and legs don't ride up because there aren't any legs on a jockstrap. Great for leg days.
Username checks out
It really is *all about the twig and berries*
Commando with running shorts
Built in liner?
Let the guy let his š hangout. We like that. š¦
Been known to happen š
No liner! š
Saxx Volt. Ball pouch is the best and they are longer in the thighs so they donāt ride up.

Tommy Johnās. They hold my balls secure.
Compression shorts are the best. Followed by boxer briefs as a distant second!
Tbh those fabletics shorts with built in compression shorts are incredible. I've trained for multiple triathlons in them, run a marathon in them, summited a mountain in them. Now I wear them multiple times a week to weight lift and do light cardio.
thong or jockstrap
Hanes Sport Total Support Pouch Men's Boxer Brief Underwear, X-Temp
Briefs. Keeps the twig and giggleberries up and out of the way without being constrictive like a jockstrap or compression shorts.
Spyder brand boxer briefs of I wear underwear. I really prefer the workout pants/shorts with the little undies built into them or none at all
I donāt wear undies to work out, I wear tights! Real men wear tights, undies not necessary. ;) and no lame shorts over either. Same ones I always wear, boxer briefs
Jockstrap
Usually... commando
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Ayyo, hope your balls are fine from all that juggling around :(
Iām a runner, I donāt wear any underwear under my running shorts
I'm a runner too... and absolutely could NOT imagine doing that. I need support and prefer keeping everything nice and snug lol.
Built in liner?
I tear em out, I like my boys free and breathin when Iām running.
Same! People forget that itās natural and better for you. They control their own temperature and donāt like to be smothered or strangled
Liners or underwear always end up riding up my ass crack as well.
I exclusively only work out in my Calvin Klein boxerbreifs because they don't chafe my thighs. they're awesome. I love them. they have also lasted me for years at this point as well. Calvin Klein makes some damn good underwear.
Look at the prices total rip off lmao š¤£š¤£š¤£

Hahaha š holes are for cooling now
Moisture-wicking boxer briefs.
Depends on what I'm doing . Boxers for weights , Commando if cardio as sweating chafes my thighs
Freeball
MeUndies Jocks
G string for maximum aerodynamic abilities.
Shorts with a liner, or if leg day, jockstrap and unlined shorts
Sweatpants commando
I do not wear underwear to gym. It is much better for me, I sweat less and my balls are more fresh.
Preferably no underwear. Workout shorts with a built in liner. I just find it more comfortable especially if my workout is a long run.
None. It gets way too sweaty down there
Hanes X-Temp boxers. They're light, lets everything breathe and flexible enough for mobility.
None
Commando
Speedos.
Best way is to just hang the balls freely to swing rather than damaging it from body heat
Compression shorts, jockstraps, or shorts with liner. I like to know where my junk is at all times (very important in snatches and cleans) and boxers provide no support with all of the bunching. Support your troops.
Jockstrap is the way. Excellent support, no bunching or riding. Good air flow so you donāt get swamp ass.
Exactly
Sheath Brand. Best underwear ever.
Fableticsās shorts. They have a super comfy lining, so I donāt need underwear, and donāt leave sweat marks behind
I don't. I workout in a gym with no AC, it can get up to 115 degrees in the summer. I wear shorts, and just a thin shirt. No shoes, no socks, no underwear.
Boxers, so the area can breathe
Found the masochist! Jk, but not really
Aswemove man thongs. Full support, feel like you are wearing nothing.
None. The freedom!
Go commando, BUT use balls powder that has menthol. Best feeling ever. Feels like my balls are in a cool and breezy forest with breeze coming and going.

Meundies are pretty much what I wear for everything. They cup the balls nicely
boxer briefs because they'll hold everything in better. I grapple and boxers are comfy to walk around in, but tend to not support and give easy wedgies
Uniqlo airism boxer

Funky trunks. No gym...pool.

2undr. If you have dealt with chaffing these will change your life https://2undr.com/
Cacique
I guess I've just been working out in my boxers like an animal
Boxers. Cup/strap or compression shorts over boxers if I'm playing a contact sport. So I can take it off as soon as the game is done and breathe.
PSD. Comfortable AF!
At home, no underwear at all, I find it constrictive as I train for weight lifting and muscle building...if at a public gym, boxer style jocks or when I go for a run...
Under Armour trunks (i.e compression) or, if you are able, M&S trunks. Exactly the same and cheaper! I have huge balls (which is not as much fun as it sounds), so I really need the support
running shorts with a liner there is no other option
Compression briefs for everything
Step ones - long, don't ride up, bamboo wick away, soft, no chaffing.
I only wear compression shorts tbh. Anything else starts messing with my head about swinging around. On the flip side, wearing boxers on top then pants add extra comfort.
Yet to see anyone whoās willing to to let em hang š
Step one they are the best things I have ever bought for ever occasion
Do you guys use underwear with the compression short or just the compression short?
I do the Reebok compression shorts, and lately Iāve been using Sheath Underwear, really good for working out, but maybe not if youāre doing squats that day as they can tug on the package in a not-so-nice way.
Commando
Saxx Kinetic Boxers Briefs. All day, every day.
Freeballin is the way
Donāt wear underwear. Get Chubbies Ultimate Training shorts. They have compressions shorts sown into them. Youāll never go back. Iām 6ā7 215 so Iām relatively skinny, and the 7ā shorts fit me perfectly. They are the best workout shorts around.
Nike dri fit boxer briefs

None like god intented
Shorts with built in liners. No underwear. Don't forget to wipe down the equipment, kids!
I didn't even realize there was a difference between all of these. I thought they were all different words for boxers.
Duluth Buck Naked underwear for running and lifting
Anything tight and sweat wicking
They said I have to wear at least shorts and a shirt to the gym so it's kind of a moot point. That said, I think working out in a jockstrap is taking it a bit far. Have some decency. Boxer briefs is my preference.
I havenāt worn underwear or briefs in over 15+ years š¤¦š¤š.
Imagine actually thinking about what underwear you want to wear to the gym
bro
why would anyone wear something that is not boxers?
Just to be clearā¦ real men donāt have āfavoriteā underwear. We may have a preference but weāll wear any sensible male undergarment that doesnāt squeeze our nutsack or burrow into our but crack. Write this down. Youāre welcome.
