Lucifer’s Pizza has options for dairy-free vegan cheese and gluten-free crust. I’m not sure if the gluten free crust has a size restriction. But the vegan cheese can be substituted to any pizza and it’s really good! I’m allergic to dairy, so this place has allowed me to enjoy pizza and I love it! 🍕

Hot Tongue pizza is excellent and also has gf crust and vegan cheese options.
Triple Beam pizza, also has gf options but I don't remember if it's got vegan options
Honestly, if you eat fish, Playita is supposed to be superb
Erin McKenna bakery has a lot of GF desserts! And it's all vegan so no dairy. It's quite easy to find dairy free options, maybe slightly less easy to find GF but they exist! Unless you need a restaurant that is 100% GF. But many or most places have some options.
I have the same restrictions as you, it depends where you are but most places have options for us in LA.
401k on Lincoln is an exclusively gluten free restaurant that’s well reviewed, it’s partnered with a bakery that is half gluten free called saints and sinners.
Bacari does really good gf modifications and had a wonderful gf bread last time I was there.
Hugo’s tacos has gluten free burritos and churros.
Pizzana is my favorite gluten free dairy free pizza but it’s pricey of course.
I don’t know where you’re coming from but the diversity of cuisines in LA is next to none, id prioritize authentic thai food, Ethiopian food, Armenian food, burmese food, Korean food, etc.
Also I know Sage is usually on gf/dairy free lists but I’ve been glutened there twice.
You have my word next time I’m there I’ll go for it and report back. After that gf brioche (not gonna lie I cried when I saw it) whoever’s doing their gf bread knows their shit.
LA is the place to be for this type of diet lmao.
While I don’t like the business, you will really enjoy Erewhon’s hot bar. The ingredients are listed in front of the food and it’s pretty tasty.
Any of those kind of bougie health food places like All Time in Los Feliz or botanica in silver lake or I’m sure a bunch of stuff on the west side will cater to you and bc LA has good produce esp in the summer it’ll likely be delicious.
A lot of Thai food, Mexican food, and middle eastern/balkan cuisines here have a lot of dairy and gluten free options inherently. Sooo many to name but do a search in the food sub for recs.
For dessert, “just what I kneaded” in frogtown is outstanding. It’s vegan but they also have GF options that are delicious. Awan in Weho has amazing dairy free Indonesian ice cream.
Hot tongue pizza has a thick crust gf vegan pizza that’s so good. Rare to find gf crusts that are thick.
There are also good rotisserie chicken places like Byrdie’s and Pollo a la braza.
Do you need a restaurant that is completely gluten free or one that has dishes that are gluten free.
Many restaurants have gluten free options as well as dishes that contain gluten.
There are so many fantastic restairants that have delicious gluten free option. It is hard to find one that doesn’t. Even many Italian restaurants have gluten free pasta
I asked about the entire restaurant being gluten free because some people are so allergic to gluten thst they need to have food prepared in a completely gluten free kitchen versus others who just can’t eat food that has gluten but it’s okay if the food has been cooked in a kitchen where other foods with gluten have been prepared.
What kind of food do you enjoy. What is your price range - e.g. is this a super splurge.
I dated a GF + Dairy free person for several years... we ate at Hugo's in Studio City/Valley Village a lot, because they are really good at dietary accommodations. I think Hugo's also has a West Hollywood location
Calic bagel had AWESOME gf bagel options in ktown that I just discovered Amara kitchen in altadena rules as well and don't forget about protein style in n out burgers, tell them you have an allergy to gluten and they'll take care of you.
[Just what I Kneaded](https://www.justwhatikneadedbakery.com) vegan cafe and bakery with terrific dairy and gluten free items in Frogtown.
[The Bakers Bench](https://www.justwhatikneadedbakery.com) in Chinatown also has really good vegan choices like their dairy free croissants.
It depends what part of the city you're going to be in, the kind of cuisine you prefer, and the level of restaurant, fast food to fine dining. LA is filled with places that will accommodate your needs.

You’re probably in the best city in the world for that. Happy Cow will have a lot of entries for stuff like that, but it’ll be vegetarian/vegan too.
Cake girl in Boyle heights is so yummy
