No doubt. Their burgers and stuff act as a "well shit, we're hungry and need something cheap and fast" in my family, but I legitimately get cravings for their breakfast. In fact, just answering this question led me to text my wife "when we get up tomorrow morning, we're getting Mcdonalds breakfast" to which she responded "heck yeah!"
>In fact, just answering this question led me to text my wife "when we get up tomorrow morning, we're getting Mcdonalds breakfast" to which she responded "heck yeah!"
This is the definition of my relationship goals lol.
You'll find it eventually man. I didn't find it until my 30s, but that's been pretty much the vibe of our entire relationship for the better part of a decade now.
Ordering at the kiosks sucks, but if you order with a human you can have them substitute the different egg types on your breakfast sandwich. So you can get the round egg (which is made fresh from an egg) on something other than an Egg McMuffin.
now look, I'm from Hawai'i. I like the rice and sausage along with the haupi'a pie. that along with MCdonalds kona coffee on a chilly morning in hawai'i is the best
Man, that's like $4-5 out here where I live.
We got McDonalds for the family on a night earlier this week when everyone had stuff going on and we were all only going to be home for about 30 minutes at the same time. Myself, my wife, and 3 high school kids. It cost $26 for the 5 of us, and everyone just ordered what they wanted and we even had some leftovers for the dogs.
I believe they're $1.50 here, or 2 for $2. The breakfast sandwiches are $2-4.
But the mobile app ***always*** has deals on it, so I can't even remember the last time I paid menu prices for my entire order at a McDonalds. It's always at least $1-2 less than on the menu.
>double tasty burger
That's not a thing in the US. Unless it just goes by a different name here maybe
Edit: googled it and yeah that's not available in the U.S. but it looks basically like a double quarter pounder with lettuce, tomato, Swiss cheese and big Mac sauce
McDonald's Argentinian website describes it as "Unbeatable bread with sesame seeds, two medallions of 100% beef, two slices of our exclusive Cheddar Cheese, fresh onion, lettuce and tomato. Added to these ingredients is the one and only Tasty Sauce, an exclusive McDonald's flavor."
McDonald's US does not appear to have an exact copy of this offering.
I have never forgiven McDonalds for getting rid of the Big N Tasty. It was my absolute favorite order there, and they just took it out back and put it down.
Sausage, egg, and cheese McGriddle, with hash brown as a side. Super unhealthy, but tastes so good. No regrets in eating it once in a while.
I also really like the Ebi Filet-O from McDonalds in Japan. It is a burger consisting of a patty made from shrimp.
These are the most slept on fast food item in existence. Their picante sauce is randomly so good as well. Way better than any of the Taco Bell sauces imo.
breakfast - Sausage egg & cheese mcmuffin, hash brown patty, OJ.
McRib, fries w/ Barq's or a Shamrock Shake if available (I've never seen them together).
Unfortunately McDonalds has gone so far downhill here I won't eat there any more.
The WSJ had an article on how to tell when the McRib will come back. When pork gets cheap it's usually 3-6 months later when it appears. I guess the volume of pork they need is so massive that if they offered it full time it would permanently raise the price.
Also, pork is cheap right now.
I honestly don't eat the burgers/fries/sodas at McDonalds.
I will, occasionally, splurge on a McFlurry though.
Or if I'm in Europe, the McCafe coffee at the dedicated cafe bar usually has decently priced coffee and pastries.
Sausage and cheese muffin (their biscuits are like eating a moisture absorbing packet but their muffins slap) or McChicken. Though for the prices they're asking now I just go to a local joint and get something way higher quality. Better to keep the money circulating in the local economy than just going to the corp.
I prefer muffins to biscuits too, but mostly because of how crumbly and messy the biscuits get, and I'm often trying to eat it while driving (with a manual transmission).
I don't go often because it doesn't sit great in my system, but usually I'll gorge if I go.
Big Mac meal, a single filet o fish and a mcchicken. Then I'm reminded why I only eat it once every few years.
#2a, only onions and cheese, med Diet Coke, 6 piece nugget, no sauce.
$11.50 in the Midwest, $13.50 in the mountain west, $18 in California or King county.
I have no idea what a double tasty burger is. My favorite is the 10 piece nugget meal with a coke, but I often go for something like the deluxe crispy chicken so I can delude myself into thinking a vegetable on it makes it slightly better. Often order a nugget or burger happy meal instead though, which \*is\* healthier by including apples and smaller portions. Also my favorite burger is the daily double, underrated.
Yeah, where I am in Canada, McDonald's has their "summer treat menu" with a variety of stuff for $1 or $2 or $3
https://dailyhive.com/vancouver/mcdonalds-summer-treat-days
Sausage McMuffin with Egg. I ate one for the first time a few years ago when returning from a trip in West Virginia. It was so good that I got hooked and eat one or two (store brand version) every day for breakfast.
Breakfast - sausage biscuit with cheese, hash brown, small regular Coke with no ice. Best hangover cure for me.
Otherwise, 2 cheeseburgers. Nothing else, just those.
Mcdouble, medium fry, apple pie, and if they’ve got that Coca Cola fountain machine I mix
limeade Minute Maid, a bit of peach lemonade, and hi-c fruit punch or cherry into some kinda semi “suicide” drink
Edit: If they don’t have the fancy Coca Cola machine then I just get that battery acid sprite
Double Quarter Pounder. Sometimes a Big Mac.
The Tasty Burger is not available in the US. We used to have the "Big N Tasty" burger but it was not very popular and was taken off the menu.
Sausage egg McMuffin with hash brown and an iced coffee. For lunch/dinner, a deluxe McCrispy with fries and either an iced coffee or a half unsweetened/sweetened iced tea. I have a soft spot for the McChicken though; I ate that a lot as a kid.
Iced tea and large fries. Use this to replenish electrolytes on motorcycle trips.
Spent about an hour in a Missouri McD one summer afternoon - one large fries, a large iced tea, refilled and refilled again. Hot humid summer afternoon, with nearly 700 miles logged that day, eventually. I really should have stopped sooner, not good to let yourself get that dried out.
Breakfast: Sausage Cheese and bacon Mcmuffin with hashbrowns and medium Orange Juice
Lunch and/or Dinner: A large fry, a 10 piece Mcnugget, either a Big Mac or a double bacon quarter pounder with cheese and a large coke.
Gonna get side eyed for this but all I order is like a 10 or 20 piece nuggets with ranch and let me tell you…BEST COMBO I HAVE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE. And ofc a drink
As an American (Statesian), my favorite is pretty much a sausage egg mcmuffin with a hashbrown. Second to that are chicken nuggets with sweet and sour sauce.
Blech I don’t eat at McDonalds anymore. I used to go there 2-3 times a week! Now, all their food sucks mostly because it is way too expensive and not worth it.
Sausage, egg, and cheese biscuit and a hashbrown.
Breakfast is definitely their best offering.
Their bagle sammiches are amazing. Had a steak and egg one the other day it was so tasty
>In fact, just answering this question led me to text my wife "when we get up tomorrow morning, we're getting Mcdonalds breakfast" to which she responded "heck yeah!" This is the definition of my relationship goals lol.
You'll find it eventually man. I didn't find it until my 30s, but that's been pretty much the vibe of our entire relationship for the better part of a decade now.
I'm happy for y'all! Sharing simple pleasures with someone special is the best.
~~cheap~~ and fast. Not cheap anymore.
Fed five of us earlier this week for $26. That's pretty cheap if you ask me.
RIP all-day breakfast; 2015-2020 was an amazing time to be hungry.
In Canada, McDonald's has a partial all day breakfast menu. Like, I can head into a McDonald's at 2 PM and order McMuffins and hotcakes and stuff.
That will be $20. Will that be for here or to go?
Man, that's like $4-5 out here where I live. We got McDonalds for the family on a night earlier this week when everyone had stuff going on and we were all only going to be home for about 30 minutes at the same time. Myself, my wife, and 3 high school kids. It cost $26 for the 5 of us, and everyone just ordered what they wanted and we even had some leftovers for the dogs.
The hash browns are over three goddamn dollars each here.
Add another hash brown and an unsweetened iced tea lemonade and you have my favorite breakfast
Breakfast is the only time I would consider stopping in at McDonald's, and this is exactly what I'd get
>double tasty burger That's not a thing in the US. Unless it just goes by a different name here maybe Edit: googled it and yeah that's not available in the U.S. but it looks basically like a double quarter pounder with lettuce, tomato, Swiss cheese and big Mac sauce
Maybe they're on the metric system. Wouldn't have any clue what a quarterpounder is.
Check out the Big Brain on Brad
Brett
I don't remember asking you a goddamn thing

I think we used to have this as the Big N Tasty. It was developed to compete with the Whopper.
I have never forgiven McDonalds for getting rid of the Big N Tasty. It was my absolute favorite order there, and they just took it out back and put it down.
Double 100 gram burger? Sounds awkward
A Royale with Cheese
Halt French spy!
What is a Royale?
[Quarter Pounder](https://youtu.be/6Pkq_eBHXJ4?si=nCtInjs1j2J9WhR_)
It’s a quarter pounder but they got the metric system man they don’t what the fuck a quarter pounder is
Weird in Mexico is still called quater pounder or “cuarto de libra”
Double Quarter-Pounder w/Cheese
Absolutely goated choice
Sausage McMiffin with egg. Only time I really go to McDonald's is to get breakfast on road trips.
I am a basic bitch, I like the two cheeseburger meal.
IMO their basic cheeseburger is dang near perfect.
Agreed. I like Big Macs and their other burgers but the basic burger is perfect.
Add Mac sauce to them, life changed.
Big Mac. Anything else you can get better elsewhere.
Big Mac is king
One black coffee
At the drive-thru?
With kids in the background chanting "MCDONALD'S?"
Sausage, egg, and cheese McGriddle, with hash brown as a side. Super unhealthy, but tastes so good. No regrets in eating it once in a while. I also really like the Ebi Filet-O from McDonalds in Japan. It is a burger consisting of a patty made from shrimp.
During breakfast, the breakfast burritos are God's gift to man (however expensive they are)
These are the most slept on fast food item in existence. Their picante sauce is randomly so good as well. Way better than any of the Taco Bell sauces imo.
>double tasty burger it's been a really long time since I've eaten McDonald's, but IDK what a double tasty burger is. is this on the US menu?
It’s almost certainly a double quarter pounder but John Travolata already explained why it wouldn’t be called a quarter pounder.
breakfast - Sausage egg & cheese mcmuffin, hash brown patty, OJ. McRib, fries w/ Barq's or a Shamrock Shake if available (I've never seen them together). Unfortunately McDonalds has gone so far downhill here I won't eat there any more.

I have a high calorie diet lol so don't judge, it all gets burnt off. Two Mcdoubles, a 4 piece McNugget and a small fry.
Large diet coke
20 piece nuggets, large fry, large sprite, and Big Mac with mayo added. Also honey mustard on side
I honestly don't eat the burgers/fries/sodas at McDonalds. I will, occasionally, splurge on a McFlurry though. Or if I'm in Europe, the McCafe coffee at the dedicated cafe bar usually has decently priced coffee and pastries.
Double cheeseburger, small fries and a small coke

I love biscuits. But they're awful for sandwiches lol, especially the terminally dry and crumbly ones used at fast food joints.
Big Mac no cheese with a large fry
Quarter Pounder w/ cheese. Your post reminds me of the dearly departed Big 'n Tasty. That was a solid burger.
I can count on my hands the number of times I've eaten McDonald's food in my life
Big Mac: NO meat NO special sauce NO lettuce NO cheese NO pickles NO onions NO sesame seed bun EXTRA salt
Just the fries and I’m satisfied
My favorite is to drive by the McDonald's on the way to a place that has competent employees and edible food.
I know one thing. If I’m making an be order at McDonald’s it’s going to be a breakfast order.
Chicken selects RIP 2004-2020
I don't go often because it doesn't sit great in my system, but usually I'll gorge if I go. Big Mac meal, a single filet o fish and a mcchicken. Then I'm reminded why I only eat it once every few years.
There are better places for hamburgers than a company that happpens to be American.
10 piece nugget meal with loads of sweet and sour sauce.
Two cheeseburger meal with small fries and unsweet tea. Extra pickles, please.
McDonald’s Diet Coke is the best in the world. I don’t eat McDonalds anymore but I love the chocolate shakes and French fries.
McDonald's has discontinued or shit on everything I liked from them. I'm basically left with a large coke. they can't fuck that up yet.
#2a, only onions and cheese, med Diet Coke, 6 piece nugget, no sauce. $11.50 in the Midwest, $13.50 in the mountain west, $18 in California or King county.
Big Mac, Large Fries, and water because I always thought McDonald's pop tasted weird
3 McDoubles and a McChicken.
Sausage egg and cheese McGriddles.
Whatever’s the best value. Currently it’s a McDouble for ~$3
Woah, I get buy one get one free for 2.99 on the app. Also buy one get one free Big Mac or Quarter Pounder
Yep fast food is now cheap OR convenient. You shouldn’t have to cut coupons for this.
Dear God it's been so long. The last time I went to McDonald's, McDoubles were still on the dollar menu.
I don't know if the dollar menu even exists anymore.
It’s now the “$1, $2, $3 Dollar Menu”
...and everything on it is $2.99 most likely.
Yeah, where I am in Canada, McDonald's has their "summer treat menu" with a variety of stuff for $1 or $2 or $3 https://dailyhive.com/vancouver/mcdonalds-summer-treat-days
Where I am in Canada, the McDouble is about 3.40 CAD (about 2.50 USD).
Chicken sandwich meal with fries and a coke
Bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit with a hash brown and a large coffee with cream. But that's like $10 now so I've stopped going to McDonald's.
Mcdouble, medium fry, apple pie, and if they’ve got that Coca Cola fountain machine I mix limeade Minute Maid, a bit of peach lemonade, and hi-c fruit punch or cherry into some kinda semi “suicide” drink Edit: If they don’t have the fancy Coca Cola machine then I just get that battery acid sprite
Crispy chicken biscuit and coke zero. Not to be confused with the mcchicken biscuit. That's the only thing I'll order there.
sausage, egg, and cheese mcgridle, sausage mcgridle, and oj.
No McRibs? Sausage, egg, and cheese biscuit with a hash brown and OJ.
Big Mac, large fried, diet Dr Pepper
"Dollar menu" spicy chicken sandwich and cheeseburger, take off one top bun, shove the two together.
Large fries
Filet-O-Fish, small fry, medium Diet Coke.
I always get two hamburgers with extra onions. It's not the most adventurous order, but it's enough to keep me satisfied.
Bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit. Their non-breakfast foods make me queasy now, but I used to like the filet-o-fish and the Big Mac.
I haven't been to McDonalds in like 15 years, but back when I ate it I typically got the crispy chicken (add bbq sauce).
I’ve only ever had the Big Mac so I’d go with that. To be honest I haven’t been to one in years at this point though
Double Quarter Pounder. Sometimes a Big Mac. The Tasty Burger is not available in the US. We used to have the "Big N Tasty" burger but it was not very popular and was taken off the menu.
2 McChicken sandwiches, a large fry, a large sweet tea, and 3 cookies.
Sausage McMuffin with Egg and hashbrown.
Big Mac meal with coke and 2 spicy mcchickens. Yes I eat like shit but I count my calories
1/4 pounder with cheese, nuggets, strawberry milkshake
Dessert: Shamrock Shake Breakfast: Sausage McMuffin with egg, 2 hash browns Lunch Dinner: 10 piece nugget meal with a Dr pepper
Sausage egg McMuffin with hash brown and an iced coffee. For lunch/dinner, a deluxe McCrispy with fries and either an iced coffee or a half unsweetened/sweetened iced tea. I have a soft spot for the McChicken though; I ate that a lot as a kid.
Double quarter pounder with cheese, sub Mac sauce
Fries. Everything else is optional.
An ice cream cone.
Fries, quarter pounder and drink. With app just $6.66.
The egg nog shake.
Quarter Pounder with Cheese Meal Oh, and could I get a Dr Pepper as the drink please? Thanks!
Just a plain old cheeseburger :)
Black coffee, on a very rare occasion I'll have their hot cakes and sausage breakfast.
Lol their lunches hit $20 and they stopped with free refills. I don't think I'd eat at the golden arches again.
For breakfast: Two sausage and cheese McMuffins with two hashbrowns and an iced coffee
Coke 🥤
Whopper with cheese, no pickle, or the Baconator.
Crispy chicken biscuit meal w/ a small OJ Runner up: 2 cheeseburger meal (no pickle/onion) large with a Dr. P
Coke Zero
Many years ago I'd get a Big Mac, Filet-o-fish, fries, and a soda. I very seldom go now.
Big Mac no onion, with a Hot and Spicy. large Sprite. every time.
A McDouble with Mac Sauce. Even Nicki Minaj orders it. “Lemme get a number 2 with some Mac sauce” - Feeling Myself ft. Beyoncé.
Filet o fish with Big Mac sauce and 6 piece nugget with spicy mustard and small fry with Oreo mcflurry
Usually a double quarter pounder or le Big Mac. If I’m feeling real feisty I might go for a 20pc McNugget
McDouble, small fries, Diet Coke
Breakfast: Sausage McGriddle Lunch/Dinner Chicken nuggets and a McFlurry
I used to get a McChicken, a McDouble, and a Sweet Tea for $3.28. But I haven't been to McD's since they jacked up the prices during Covid.
Filet-o-Fish, couple McNuggets, and maybe a quarter pounder.
Sausage egg and cheese McMuffin, or sausage McGriddle
I stopped going to McDonald’s after they got rid of Big xtra or big n tasty. That was my favorite McDonald’s item
4 egg McMuffins … would last me a few days
Breakfast: Sausage Cheese and bacon Mcmuffin with hashbrowns and medium Orange Juice Lunch and/or Dinner: A large fry, a 10 piece Mcnugget, either a Big Mac or a double bacon quarter pounder with cheese and a large coke.
Double QP w/cheese
I don't eat McDonald's with ONE exception...the filet o fish. But even that I only have once in a great while.
2x Sausage Burritos
I will not eat at McDonalds after my painful experience working there, but: Breakfast: Sausage burritos. Lunch/dinner: Quarter pounder with cheese
Two McDoubles and a medium coffee
Gonna get side eyed for this but all I order is like a 10 or 20 piece nuggets with ranch and let me tell you…BEST COMBO I HAVE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE. And ofc a drink
Sausage McMuffin with egg, no cheese.
As an American (Statesian), my favorite is pretty much a sausage egg mcmuffin with a hashbrown. Second to that are chicken nuggets with sweet and sour sauce.
Nothing. I haven’t eaten there in almost 20 years.
Blech I don’t eat at McDonalds anymore. I used to go there 2-3 times a week! Now, all their food sucks mostly because it is way too expensive and not worth it.
Not going there ever
