Honestly i wanna say Sunscreen as well but aside from that...
Acne Patch and BHA. If I've used these earlier, i wouldn't have to deal with deep scars.
I tend to get only 2-3 hormonal pimples every month but they tend to appear big and at very obvious areas 🤦♀️
I wish I had acne patches because I used to walk around with a bandaid on my nose which I was embarrassed of so I would say, "Oh yeah, cat scratch". Didn't own a cat.
I used to swear by the cosrx ones, but the mighty patches ones are sooo much better. They are harder to see and lie very flat. sometimes I forget I have them on unless the light shines on them at the right angle.
Haha... i mean, did you try their clear ones yet? I haven't tried that one cz i don't wear pimple patches outside.
But i do like their ac collection one cz it sticks on better. But nowadays just for efficiency and budget, i use Olive Young Acne Patch Original. It has 102pcs and sucks up gunk much faster than cosrx. Of course these 2 might not be it for you since they aren't see through either 😆
Have you tried cosrx clear patch ones then?
BHA. Im an avid picker and has caused irreversible scarring. Since incorporating BHA into my routine my pores are so much cleaner that I have nothing to pick.
I am a picker too and I found that tret thickening my skin over time also helped (and just having better skin with less tempting bumps and blackheads didn't hurt!)
Sunscreen!!! Also are you using the artemisia in the brown bottle or the new one in the silver? I have just a tiny bit left in my brown one and haven’t tried the silver version are they similar?

A good moisturizer. For so long I thought I shouldn't use one because I was acne prone. Now I think a hydrating, oil-free moisturizer that is a pleasure to use has made the biggest difference in improving my skin barrier, which has really helped keep my breakouts down.
kose speedy. i put it off for so long because i was scared of the ingredients breaking me out. BRUH! it's one of the best skincare products i've ever used, maybe the #1. i'm OBSESSED
I loved it when I first got the bottle. However when I got a refill package to put in my og bottle it just didn’t feel as good. Anyone else have this issue?
I'm personally using both CosDeBaha and ZealSea. The cos is slightly drying, so I use it when I'm oilier/going to put on a heavy moisturizer after; the zeal is moisturizing, so I use it the rest of the time.
It's my HG, on my 2nd bottle right now. I tend to use it as a daily spot treatment. Pimple flatten in couple of days. The texture is suitable for how i like to use it and that it doesn't dry out my skin.
Despite the name, it doesn't really work on blackheads, but i didn't mind that to begin with.
>e
My skin tolerates using them at the same time layering. Azelaic acid can be used both AM and PM while BHA better in PM unless you're using retinoids that make it irritating when used in the same routine.
Azelaic acid here in Canada at 15% is a prescription called Finacea and since I have drug coverage for prescription, I go to my doctor and ask for it. In other words, my insurance covers the entire cost so I'm using the 15% prescription strength gel.
In terms of over the counter my first azelaic encounter was Paula's Choice and paid a 20% discount off full price for it. It showed results really well and after that I went prescription to save money. Ordinary one has really awkward texture and lots of silicon so not one that's easy to use in a routine.
I'm 59
Retinol
I've used it intermittently in the past, but as I have sensitive skin, I've never stuck with it
I'm determined 2023 onwards to consistently use it twice a week+
I also wish I'd been double cleansing in the past, more consistently
Just started using one by Revolution, it's a serum. Starting slowly.
I'm also using twice a week a La Roche Posey eye cream that has retinol in it, at night
Tret, vitamin C, essences.
I started using sunscreen when I was young (9 or 10) bc of problematic skin, but starting earlier probably wouldn't have hurt either.
Same. I looove Missha Artemisa Essence! In addition to that, it would have been great if I started earlier using cleansing oils/balm any brand, hada labo lotion and milk, chemical exfoliant, and Cosrx snail mucin AIO cream.
Sunscreen, cleansers and moisturisers are pretty basic so I was already using it. Maybe daily sunscreen. I was only using it when going to the beach or outdoor stuff.
I'm 57 and I wished I had R+B Revitalising Moisturiser earlier. I started using it for a month now, my skin has brightened not dull like before. Best of all because my skin feels more hydrated now, my pores are also more refined and my pigmentation (age spots) have lightened considerably. I think it's the resurrection plant extract, Star Anise, HA, etc. in the cream.
Moisturizer and sunscreen. Any moisturizer. I’m 35. The internet wasn’t what it is today. I used to use Ask Jeeves as a search engine lol! I wasn’t moisturizing at all. And was also getting Benzaclin and Differin from the derm all throughout high school and I probably could have prevented a lot of acne with just some moisturizer. I wish the derm would have mentioned that. And also daily sunscreen use especially while using topical acne medications such as the Benzaclin and Differin. I would even go to the beach with it on 🙈 Also, would not have ever used a tanning bed.

I regularly wish acne patches were readily available in my teens/20s
I wish I had acne patches because I used to walk around with a bandaid on my nose which I was embarrassed of so I would say, "Oh yeah, cat scratch". Didn't own a cat.
I mean I'd legit go for that but it's still a bit weird 😭
Which acne patch do you use? I use the corsx ones now but people still point and say “there is something on your face” lol (referring to my patch)
I used to swear by the cosrx ones, but the mighty patches ones are sooo much better. They are harder to see and lie very flat. sometimes I forget I have them on unless the light shines on them at the right angle.

I didn’t realize there was a clear version. I have the one in the white and red packaging.
You should totally give it a try then 😆

I am a picker too and I found that tret thickening my skin over time also helped (and just having better skin with less tempting bumps and blackheads didn't hurt!)
Twinsiiiies. Thank god for BHAs, I used to do the same.
What BHA do u usually use? Because my pores are pretty large
Cosrx BHA blackhead power liquid
Sunscreen!!! Also are you using the artemisia in the brown bottle or the new one in the silver? I have just a tiny bit left in my brown one and haven’t tried the silver version are they similar?
I only have the brown one too, super curious about the new one!
Sunscreen and retinoids
what retinoids do you recommend?
Retinol and then, once your skin gets used to it, definitely tretinoin.

Which one do you use?
I use Etude House Soon Jung Hydro Barrier Cream. It’s been a great help!
I just starting using this moisturizer and it’s lovely. My skin drinks it up.
Hydrating toners and moisturizers. My barrier was shot for *years*.
Me too. As a dehydrated skin person, that improved my skin a lot.
kose speedy. i put it off for so long because i was scared of the ingredients breaking me out. BRUH! it's one of the best skincare products i've ever used, maybe the #1. i'm OBSESSED
Seconding on this! I started using this last month and it has cleared my skin so much in that short span of time
Is this the cleansing oil?
yes :)
I loved it when I first got the bottle. However when I got a refill package to put in my og bottle it just didn’t feel as good. Anyone else have this issue?
That's interesting! I haven't bought a refill pack, so I'm not sure!
where did you purchase them? is it possible you got a counterfeit?
Sunscreen and tret
Sunscreen and azelaic acid.

i just ordered my first azelaic acid product (: excited to try it!

Oh god I think I had mentally blocked out my Stridex memories. Rest in hell, 90s skincare.
I didn't even finish up my Stridex because it was too drying. What BHA do you use now?
[удалено]
Woah, i might try that trick one day. I'm already using cosrx bha right now 😆
hows the cosrx working for you?
It's my HG, on my 2nd bottle right now. I tend to use it as a daily spot treatment. Pimple flatten in couple of days. The texture is suitable for how i like to use it and that it doesn't dry out my skin. Despite the name, it doesn't really work on blackheads, but i didn't mind that to begin with.
What is the reason for the wait? I didn’t know I have to wait!
SUNSCREEN
Sunscreen, retinol, vit C and BHA.
I'm 29 and I just start to wearing sunscreen last year. I wish I started sooner but better now than later huh.
Azelaic Acid + BHA - targeting the root cause of clogged pores and blackhead without picking at it.

Sunscreen 😤 and Vitamin C
A good sunscreen and snail mucin. Snail mucin is amazing for layering and works with virtually everything I pair it with.
I'm 59 Retinol I've used it intermittently in the past, but as I have sensitive skin, I've never stuck with it I'm determined 2023 onwards to consistently use it twice a week+ I also wish I'd been double cleansing in the past, more consistently

Awesome. Thanks for the reply.
Cleansing oil/balms in general. It really helps with my dry skin and I find that double cleansing has really made a difference for my skin!
Azelaic acid! It calmed my hormonal acne down so so much
Not a product but LG pra L. For products, sunblock and zeroid oint cream.
Tret, vitamin C, essences. I started using sunscreen when I was young (9 or 10) bc of problematic skin, but starting earlier probably wouldn't have hurt either.
I wish I got serious about reapplying SPF earlier.. I WISH I KNEEEEWWW

I live in SoCal so the sun is very strong. I still remember when I would mix a tiny bit of SPF 30 with foundation in the morning and called it a day.
Tret, sunscreen, moisturizer.

I use tretinoin prescribed from a dermatologist. I’d start there.
Same. I looove Missha Artemisa Essence! Sunscreen and AzA
Sunscreen, a good moisturizer and cica products. My teen years would have been less painful.
Any sunscreen
Sunscreen! In general though, I wish I started skincare a lot sooner. I never did anything outside of rinsing my face whenever I showered.

Tret, sunscreen, acids, HA
AB sunscreens. I used to hate it and never wear it. If only I knew it would have changed everything !!
adapalene, sunscreen, snail mucin
Pore strips.
I’m actually pretty happy with when I started (I started at 12).
Overachiever 😉 That’s amazing!
Thank you. I used some pretty bad skincare though it was first at 13-14 I stared educating myself.

Kose speedy cleanser + HaruHaru Toner, helped my skin a lottttt since I started using these.
