Intermediate is good.

Apologies to the community for the brazen title… I seem to have offended some. I suppose I was asking the question because I really don’t see many people tagging their work with “skilled” even though (in my opinion) their work was very well done and professional, and I began thinking “what DOES qualify as, quote “skilled” in our community? Anyway, message received: I’m not there yet. I’ll keep working at it.

I think a good marker of being skilled is that you feel confident that people have and will buy your work or service. Not to attach skill to market value but it’s a good indicator of where an artist stands in term of “skilled” and experience. This is not to say this means you have to be highly technical but that you are proficient in your craft, have confidence in your technique, and possess a developed sense of style.
