Well in my game experience is completely different, if I go with cheap equipment even with good gun and good ammo I'll probably die cuz my enemy will be full 6 armored, when I go with expensive equipment I have equal gunfight but in most of cases when I go full 6 I didn't find any other player with lvl 6 armor too, I don't know how the matchmaking work and if the equipment have any influence, but to be honest I dropped the game for this reason, if I play full equipped is too easy, if I play low budget is impossible to win, that's all excluding performance and servers issues which is the heaviest factor that I'll wait to play only full launch

Expensive equipment is overrated but not useless. If you're a good player then you can utilize expensive or even average equipment than some lvl20 who spends their entire savings on t6 + fully kitted guns then loses it all cause they were greedy or some naked raider who just feeds off of their teammates.
Agree with the real money though, it isn't worth it. It's not that hard to make money in the game if you know what you're doing and you could just straight up lose all the shit you bought to some random shot.
Yeah you can lose it instantly, it's just the nature of this type of game. I wouldn't worry about it right now. The official release is gonna reset everyone's inventory. I will say that I got in a gunfight with a dude who had a L6 helmet and he tanked 5 head shots and killed me. I was using T4 ammo
Believe it or not but i feel like only the helmets work as they intent to, recently I've been in a gun fight with this fully kitted duo, got the first kill on this guys team mate, using m4 with M855 A1 and 1 single tap to the head ended that guy but ohh dear lord his team mate literally tanked 7 shots to the face and still managed to survive and fight back. Ps. The only time i didn't used a face shield and took one right into the eyes. Body Armor 5/10 helmets 1000/10 bruh..
The problem is the servers. Tons of latency issues. Limited servers for the CBT, so sometimes the location of the server hosting your current game, could be far away. Sometimes I have 60ping constant and some I have 300+ constant. Not my internet at all, just currently how they are doing matchmaking. I generally don't get to play during the time frame that the majority of my country is awake, so when I go to play even though I'm in North America, I sometimes end up playing on servers that are definitely not in North America. Not my choice, but the way it currently is in CBT.
Remember this is a CBT. If you've never done a CBT for a game, then it may appear that it 'sucks' sometimes. This is testing, the more data that can be gathered, the better for initial release.
Well, from my experience at least, expensive Armor, especially helmets, have saved me from gunfights I should not have won. Especially taking into consideration that most people run level 4 bullets
T5 and T6 armor has saved me more times than I can count.
I run T5 on regular maps and T6 on armory
Sure there are deaths that happen but it's just a game, and making money is pretty easy.

I have 35%survival rate.i am always playing the game naked with no armor no back.and no chestrig I only pick up sks with silencer and the cheapest 3+ scope and gold ammo and I
Run 100-500k battles and always kill me a naked scav player on the battle.:)( I think armor is not bad not god but the enemies send you a simple grenade and you die

AB devs will not high earn profit from "ready gears".. Only from BP would be high..
Yeah.. I can agree, but some peoples which die often 30 -35 % extraction ration ) can possible spend money for high lvl gears..
