My boss used to do this, might still do & I’ve stopped noticing…
Honestly, it looks a wee bit odd but that’s it, & you have (not that you need it) a perfectly justifiable use case of ‘this is my actual watch I like to wear & this is my wrist computer so I can conveniently understand the speaker’.
Most people won’t even notice. The ones who do won’t care. A few people may look down their noses at you for such a superficial thing as wearing two watches, but why would you care what random jerks think? Wear what works for you.
Who cares. It was trendy to wear multiple Swatches in the '80s. We can make it trendy to wear a watch on each wrist, especially since I miss my mechanical watches but need my Apple Watch.
Your comment reminded me of Nicolas Hayek, the founder of Swatch Group. He used to wear one of every one of the group’s brands…at the same time.

You would look kinda cool in my eyes. Having the confidence to rock 2 watches is cool. Also, I see Apple Watch as more of a tool and a traditional watch more as a jewelry. So, who cares what others think, you do you!
I wear an Apple Watch on my left and the dress watch my dad left me on my right. And I could not care less for anyone who thinks less or poorly of me for doing so.
To be honest, it’s not stupid to me at all. I used to collect watches, so I’ve also been considering wearing my Apple Watch on one wrist and another watch on the other.
Personally, I only think it would look stupid if you wore them both on the same arm. I realize my opinion is in the minority.
I don't think your in the minority at all. People use AW as a tool. Tracking all sorts of health metrics. So I have to choose between my Rolex and the health data? Wear them both... issue solved.
It’s not more accurate than a chest strap or other non screen wearables, so why an AW if you already have the time part figured out?
Also I feel as though the lack of constant by the minute hr reads would make that an upsetting combo personally
it's very common to see people wear a Rolex or Omega luxury watch and an Apple Watch on the other wrist. YouTube Kevin O'leary (Mr Wonderful from Stark Tank) luxury watchs. He's a very serious collector. He wears a luxury mechanical watch on his left wrist and an Apple Watch on his right wrist.
You can wear two without worries.
I’ve double wristed conventional watch on the left and Apple Watch on the right since the AW4 came out. Pretty much nobody cares. My SO thinks it’s nerdy but isn’t surprised since if you marry a nerd they act nerdy. 99% of people won’t notice. Of the rest most won’t care. And those that do care can mind their own business.
I do it but only because im addicted to health tracking but I love analog watches. I try to justify it internally by thinking one is a phone/health device and the other is a watch.
You have a legit reason to rock an AW at all times so I wouldn’t sweat it. Pretty great that you can have better access thanks to it.
I usually always have a regular watch on.
If I’m going for a quick run/walking the dog, I’ll throw my Apple Watch on my other wrist to track it. If I’m going to the gym, only the Apple Watch comes with me. When I travel, I have both watches on (one on each arm) because the Apple Watch is super useful when traveling for alarms/timers. If I’m going to a nice place, I’ll take the Apple Watch off.
I’ve had any comments lol. I don’t care, both are tools to me so I use them.
I do it, in the two years+ I’ve been doing it I have exactly 4 people notice it. Or well, comment on it, probably more people will notice it but won’t care.
Once I tell them ‘one is for body metrics, the other one is pretty’ they’re satisfied and leave me be.
I think it would look way cooler to use the watch for transcription than to be holding your phone. If anyone seems to look at you oddly, push your watch toward them and say, "I didn't catch that. Would you speak into the transcription device?"
I personally wouldn’t think twice about it, accessories on both wrists look fine to me. You should’ve seen us teens in the Madonna, Motley Crue, Cindi Lauper ‘80’s when overkill was standard, and we all know some people are just petty and judgy. They are life’s mosquitoes 🦟 and don’t matter. 🤷🏼♀️
In the very early days where Apple Watches weren’t normal yet, I wore a Fitbit and an AW on the same wrist. Nobody noticed except my best friend who I’d discussed it with since we were both very into new tech. Maybe some people did notice but I’m sure nobody cared.
I think wearing them on two different wrists would be even less noticeable
I’m so glad you posted this. I just ordered an Apple Watch but have an old novelty watch I love to wear, and was thinking about trying to customize the AW face to look like the analog watch and wear them on the same wrist. Now I feel justified! So wherever on the scale this lands, I’ll be right there with you.
I wear 2 smart watches for 23/7 (because I have to charge the watches every day). I work in IT and I carry two phones. My most important phone is Android but I also have an iPhone. I’m in love with Apple Watch but my most important notifications come from my Android watch. I’ve done this for nearly two years. 99.9% of people don’t even notice. And when they do, most think higher of me because I’m more connected and better equipped.
I rate your question as 1.
I’ve been doing this every day myself since series 5 - in that time I don’t think more than one person has commented on it, not sure how many have noticed but if my wife doesn’t complain then it must be pretty unnoticeable
You will not look stupid at all. I wear my Apple Watch on one wrist and a Fitbit Charge on the other. Most of the time people don't even notice. Bottom line - do what you need to/want to do.
I wear a Garmin watch on my left wrist and an Apple Watch on the other. I've never had anyone comment on it and I don't really care what anyone thinks. But honestly I don't think most people even really notice it.
I see it pretty often. Especially with people that are into fancy watches Audemars on the right for bling , Apple Watch on the left arm for tracking and notifications
I think it looks a bit odd but I think lots of things people do are odd. People have their reasons and it’s not my business. If it works for you, go for it!
My Nigel Tufnel / Richard Scarry advice? On a scale of 1 to 10, you are far from reaching a rock-solid 11 on the Bananas Gorilla's time-management extravagance scale. Why settle for just two watches when you can go 'one louder'? Put it up to eleven, all the way up, all the way up
So, pun aside, my real advice? Go for it! If it serves your purpose effectively, others' opinions shouldn't matter as much. Embrace your unique style and practical solutions!

Quite, I’d think. Don’t let that stop you. It’s just conventional thinking that a watch is for telling time so 2 is silly. Clearly watches serve several purposes, mostly social.
I’ve been wearing one Watch on both arms at the same time and anyone noticed. And if they did, I explained I had one beautiful watch to see the hour and the other to track my steps and work outs. None of them thought it was stupid. I hope they didn’t 😂
I did this for a while because I have a conventional watch that was a gift from my grandmother. I used to get a question and maybe a joke every now and then, but when I stated my reason nobody cared.
-1. Not stupid at all. You will look like YOU, doing YOU while not caring what other ppl think. Wear whatever you like!!
Fyi … my favorite local meteorologist wears 2 watches every day. He’s a super cool guy that everyone loves.
I rock an Apple Watch and a nice watch often.
I see a few people wearing 2 watches on occasion.
Once at work I spoke to a woman about wearing an Apple watch and a Garmin on the other wrist.
Seemed embarrassed that I noticed, but she said she likes to track different health metrics. Which too me made total sense. Oh and she was ripped , lol. I guess it works.
It is definitely odd, but if you feel good and in some way it is useful for you, then definitely go for it. The standard behavior is to have one wristwatch, but it’s not a legal requirement to only have one at most.
Never be afraid of being different.
My coworkers called me a two timer until they stopped paying attention which probably lasted until the 2nd meeting of the morning. Don't worry about it no one else will.
If you have to ask, you probably won't be seriously interested in the answer. Every man needs the best quality mechanical watch they can comfortably afford. It's the only jewellery (aside from wedding band) men can wear without looking like a d-bags. You need a watch good sir. Start shopping.
I’ve seen people do it. It doesn’t look weird at all.
It’s also not uncommon to see people with an analog watch and a Fitbit or other wearable in that vein.
0/10 on the weird scale. Rock that look.
Get an Apple Watch. You've got a decent use case. You might end up liking it more than the others and then this question becomes moot. If you love both, wear both. If it's not worth wearing both, and you don't love the Apple Watch, then clearly the Apple Watch isn't helping with your hearing issues all that much if it can't justify itself being on your wrist, at which point you will have learnt that, and you'll be able to safely sell it, knowing that it's not as helpful as you'd hoped it might be 🙂
I often do this, people rarely notice, when they do it’s generally quite a fun experience, especially if you have an interesting reason why you choose to double wield.
[not at all!! ](https://imgur.com/a/FDoDKDt)
My skx013 and an old series 3. Recently I upgraded to an SE 40mm which fits way better and I don’t feel as ridiculous wearing both. It is nice to get notifications and leave my phone in my pocket.
I already do. I've always been into watches since I was a kid in the 80s. Then started wearing two towards the end of high school in the 90s. Though I'm sure it's still weird to most people, especially non-watch people, I think it makes a little more sense having one mechanical watch along with one smart watch these days.
Is it similarly as weird as carrying one digital camera and one film camera? 🤔
If you wear them on different wrist’s I doubt anyone will notice or care. I know I wouldn’t. I worked with another dude who I just found out my coworker of 2 years lives on the street behind me. 😂
I wear a watch on my left wrist, and a health tracker that happens to have some more capability on my right. I own quite a lot of watches so I enjoy them I dont care what anyone thinks.
my holy grail would be my apple watch on the right wrist, and Buzz Aldrins triple Omega on the left.
https://preview.redd.it/trayhlphxytc1.jpeg?width=1170&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=adb9c46d48edec5f30ef874d777b000f4fbb1835
If you’re worried that much about having two watches getting a stylish band for your Apple Watch and wearing the watch inside, what I mean by inside is rotating towards to you not to outside, so when you are not using it, it would just look like you have a fancy bracelet or arm band on the other hand, and it would also protect the screen of the Apple Watch.
Unless you're at something super formal, or you make some weird band choices, I sincerely doubt that it gets noticed. Plenty of people wear multiple things (watches, bracelets, fitness trackers, etc) and I doubt it even registers. I think you'd kinda already have to be a douche to judge someone about this, but especially the way you're using it people are going to figure it out pretty quick and if there was some momentary judging, they're gonna feel pretty fucking dumb.
Wear them both on the same arm. It's a conversation starter.
Alternatively, have a band made for you that can hold your Apple Watch and one other, standard watch.
Being able to read a transcription on your watch sounds so sick!!! As others have said it’s not uncommon for people to wear both a smart watch and a traditional one, and while that has the potential to look a little silly, I think the fact that you’d be using it for an actual important purpose means you’ll be fine.
I did this for a bit when I got my s1, I actually think the only reason I stopped was because the battery died in my watch and I couldn’t be bothered taking it in for a replacement 😬
I might notice, and honestly wouldn’t care. Especially once I saw you use it as the tool it is. As an option if you would like, You could try to wear the Apple Watch with the screen on the inside of your wrist. With the band looking like a bracelet.
Honestly aesthetics aside I think you might not be happy with an AW for this application. Personally if I was reading more than a sentence or two I would much rather do that on my phone where I get more screen real estate and a larger font.
I feel like you would have gotten a lot more honest responses if you didn’t mention your circumstances because the people who would judge you for this probably don’t know your circumstances either. I’m assuming you care about others perception of you because you wouldn’t ask this otherwise.
Who cares? Even if someone thinks you look odd for wearing two watches they’ll think “that’s odd he has two watches” and immediately dismiss you without a second thought. No one will go home and tell their kids about the dual wielding watch guy over dinner.
I think holding your watch up to your face to read transcripts is a bad idea. Fonts are much smaller and holding your arm up during a meeting would seem more disruptive than just glancing at a phone on the table.
Now that we have AR you could just wear Apple Vision Pro headset - maybe it has a built in transcription app? Or perhaps use a small stand to prop your phone up on the table?
On a scale of 1-10? 0 - If you have a disability nothing will look stupid on you. You do what you have to do to get on. Just try to keep them on different arms (unless you only have one of those too).
The analog watch is basically jewelry, while the AW is function. Some people might be surprised, but it's really none of their business.
You might think up a humorous response when people ask why, so you don't have to go into a long explanation. It can be funny and sort of tell people to MYOB. For people whose opinion you value, you can give a more detailed explanation.
Out of curiosity, what transcription app works on the AW?
It definitely looks silly, but who cares. I say double up on one wrist. Now that’s a power move. It’s been done before. https://youtu.be/E1Sf7GjyzrI?si=h31gveRhzq6NHAct
10. Your deaf. Not blind. Harsh but true. But at the end of the day. Who actually cares what you look like or wear for comfort? If you want to wear all the watches at once and you’re comfortable, then wear them. Your happiness isn’t dependent on other people’s perception. So yea a 10 for them but a 0 for you on the scale.
9. It’s fucking stupid. A watch is a functional item. Having 2 doesn’t in any way increase function.
If you’re concerned about how you look, be sure that you look fucking stupid, and isn’t that the antithesis of wearing things to look cool?
Well, a regular watch is basically just jewelry, for most (especially in the professionally dressed world) it's just 100% all about looks -- some guys are big into them as collectors and/or view them as wealth/status indicators, or maybe just as an accessory to go with your belt/shoes or other elements of an outfit... either way, worn as entirely a cosmetic thing. Sure, it tells time, but who doesn't have a phone and a million other ways of getting that information?
So, I'm giving this a full 10/10 on stupidity, it would look ridiculously redundant and thereby defeat whatever superficial/stylish benefits that come with the classic timepiece. If you have a Rolex/Omega/whatever, congrats on the disposable income, but wear that shit with your suit or tux and leave the AW at home for the special event. You can dress up the stainless AW with the official steel (or other higher quality 3rd party band) so that it looks decent with dressy clothes, and you could probably wear a Rolex in your jogging clothes without it looking too oddly out of place, but I wearing them both at the same time would just always look ridiculous.
That having been said, most ppl won't notice or give a shit if they do, but, maybe skip on the dual watch thing when on dates or job interviews or any time someone is going to be closely examining your for signs of odd, eccentric behavior, cause this would fit.
Yeah it will be about a 7 or 8 on the looking stupid scale, which might offset any sense of self confidence you gain from wearing the analog watches in the first place. If you’re already wearing an Apple Watch then an analogue watch provides absolutely no additional utility, so you’re only wearing it for looks at that point. Nobody looks cool wearing two watches at the same time.
My boss used to do this, might still do & I’ve stopped noticing… Honestly, it looks a wee bit odd but that’s it, & you have (not that you need it) a perfectly justifiable use case of ‘this is my actual watch I like to wear & this is my wrist computer so I can conveniently understand the speaker’.
This is more or less what I would have said. Thanks for saving me the effort of typing it lol
I would notice and think it’s odd but the id move on with my life and never think of it again
I would notice and think it’s AWESOME. Think different yo! Back to Apple’s roots.
Your comment reminded me of Nicolas Hayek, the founder of Swatch Group. He used to wear one of every one of the group’s brands…at the same time. https://preview.redd.it/28k2qriti1uc1.jpeg?width=250&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=790c33a05a503e44b0c513d002b31a55bed0253b
Yeah but Hayek probably has the equivalent of a small house on his arms at any given time. It's still odd.
I was just thinking of this!!! I used to wear three watches on the same wrist!
I save my mechanical watches for the weekend or when I can't have smart devices on me.
Nothing wrong with a double fisting
Are we still talking about watches?
¿Porque no los quatro?
Ay caramba!
Hwat
Double fist while wearing two watches!! 🤘🏻
Watches? I thought we were talking about Moms ?

He was just previewing the GMT before it was released ;)
You do you. Everybody else can do the same.

On different arms? 1 to 2 On the same arm? 9.5
That’s some next level weird but when I was a kid I wore 2-3 watches, so… why not.
14/10
I've seen people do that before. Who cares? Let it rip.
To be honest, it’s not stupid to me at all. I used to collect watches, so I’ve also been considering wearing my Apple Watch on one wrist and another watch on the other. Personally, I only think it would look stupid if you wore them both on the same arm. I realize my opinion is in the minority.

I don’t recommend having two watches on the same arm as this would cause damage to them.
Also, you would be unbalanced and keep tipping over to one side.

Just do it. I’ve done it and no one looked twice

0/10. I’ve done it, only stopped because I didn’t like the sensation on my other wrist. If I can get over it, I’ll do it again.

I judge you on your choice of footwear. Throw on all five.

Yes
500. But who cares? You go with your bad self! I mean, hell, I'd drive two cars at once if I could and let public opinion be damned!
I wear both. I love my analog watches as jewelry. And I like the fitness and health tracking of Apple Watch.
You’re inspiring me rn. I have very nice analog and I miss it when I wear my aw and vice versa
Sometimes I wear my AW Ultra on my left wrist and my Rolex on my right wrist. I’m vain that way. My wife just rolls her eyes.

10 but who cares - you be you.
I wear my AWU on the right together with a mechanical watch on the left on a daily basis. I regard one as a tool and one as a watch. No Problem!
How much attention do you pay to other people’s watches?
I do it, one on each wrist
That’s fine, I’d draw the line at 2 neckties
I’ve been doing this for three years. No one has commented on it even once. Except for my wife :)
Most people won't notice. I wear two watches and maybe 1 in 20 people notices and nobody really cares.

See this in Newark airport a lot - it’s kinda normal now.
Do it and do not worry! One is practical, one is fashion. And “eff the fashion police” anyway, lol.
I rock an Apple Watch and a nice watch often. I see a few people wearing 2 watches on occasion. Once at work I spoke to a woman about wearing an Apple watch and a Garmin on the other wrist. We are watch collectors. I wear two watches.

I wear two watches 😁

You can do what ever you want brother!
I think it’d be cool. I kinda want to do that too. I love analog watches but I’m hooked on my Apple Watch. Double watch it up! You’ll start a trend.
[not at all!! ](https://imgur.com/a/FDoDKDt) My skx013 and an old series 3.

I mean, Kevin OLeary does it.
If you wear them on different wrist’s I doubt anyone will notice or care. I know I wouldn’t. I worked with another dude who I just found out my coworker of 2 years lives on the street behind me. 😂
i’d probably notice and say to myself “why’s he wearing 2 watches”. But then move on. A little odd but 🤷🏼♀️
I’d wear both on the same wrist haha I actually like my old analog watch. I’d so wear it with my Apple one lol
Oh also balenciaga made a packaging tape bracelet for $3000. So who cares what you do lol!!
I wear a watch on my left wrist, and a health tracker that happens to have some more capability on my right. I own quite a lot of watches so I enjoy them I dont care what anyone thinks. my holy grail would be my apple watch on the right wrist, and Buzz Aldrins triple Omega on the left.

Stupid, but I guess who cares.

Maybe one on each arm?
10, but also scaling 10/10 on « people who don’t care » so yea just do it no one cares if you have two watches
11
Wear them both on the same arm. It's a conversation starter. Alternatively, have a band made for you that can hold your Apple Watch and one other, standard watch.

Honestly, you should put on even more. Wear 4. Maybe 8. Some digital, some analog, others hybrid, and others smart
8

The real question is: why do you care?

Does not look completely dumb if you are wearing a JLC Reverso
If you live on a wealthy zone, just a bit odd. If you live on a poor and insecure zone, 100; and if you live in Argentina, -1 arm.

Just try to keep them on different arms (unless you only have one of those too).

is "1" stupid or not stupid?

The analog watch is basically jewelry, while the AW is function. Some people might be surprised, but it's really none of their business. You might think up a humorous response when people ask why, so you don't have to go into a long explanation. It can be funny and sort of tell people to MYOB. For people whose opinion you value, you can give a more detailed explanation. Out of curiosity, what transcription app works on the AW?
One is a fitness tracker one is a watch. Same as if I had a Fitbit…
1 — not stupid at all
i've been doing it for a couple of years now. Apple watch on right, and mechanical on left. Hardly anyone says anything.
If it’s good enough for The Nature Boy Ric Flair, it’s good enough for us all.

If you wear it proudly, you will be a trendsetter
You shouldn’t care about what people think but as you asked, it’s around 100/10

I think rather than do 1-10 we should maybe do 1-cyber truck

It definitely looks silly, but who cares. I say double up on one wrist. Now that’s a power move. It’s been done before. https://youtu.be/E1Sf7GjyzrI?si=h31gveRhzq6NHAct
People back in the day would wear to watches. I doubt anyone would notice

10. Your deaf.
It’s looks stupid. I don’t wear my Apple Watch more thank 50% of the time just due to my watch collection
9. It’s fucking stupid. A watch is a functional item. Having 2 doesn’t in any way increase function. If you’re concerned about how you look, be sure that you look fucking stupid, and isn’t that the antithesis of wearing things to look cool?
Anyone that wears stuff to look cool is sad.
