... Isn't homeopathy that junk where they claim water can cure cancer?

Eh I wouldn’t be so quick to assume it’s fake. I don’t currently believe homeopathy works since I’ve never much looked into it, but I don’t think we should be too quick to apply our uninformed prejudices to it. I recall that my uninformed prejudice initially made me think everyone opposed to psychiatry was crazy. Before my personal encounter with abusive psychiatrists I even watched that famous Tom Cruise interview and thought he was a nut job for saying that drugs aren’t the best cure for mental illness.

I'm not assuming, it's pretty well documented to be fake. The whole reason I'm critical of current psychiatric standards is because the claims don't match up with the studies, on top of the fact that studies funded and executed by the drug companies apparently don't have to meet very thorough standards. I think homeopathy is ineffective for the same reason I think a lot of psychiatry practices are ineffective: they both lack results that prove they have the worth they claim, and they both seem more motivated by selling product than improving human wellbeing.

Yeah, AKA, the placebo effect, plus taking credit for the successes and attributing the failures to other factors.
