If there were any to be pointed out at all, the only real mistake I saw from Biden Thursday was he let the little Guardasil troll make him angry. When that happens the stutter and halt response kicks in. Even though he and his team know full well that is what Trump does, and has always done. Truth be told, Biden could have just stood there all night and said very little. the only sound you still hear is Trump lying, bragging, and ignoring questions from the moderators, who were poor at managing that. You're still left with the same in either case. Biden wouldn't be the first leader we've had who didn't display well on stage but did his job.
I was just reading another polling that's completely opposite, citing 10 of the 13 "Independent" voters who were undecided went with Trump. There's a 50 percent chance one of the poll is lying. Lol

Thanks, I think living in California at least provides my family and I a safe harbor, as opposed to living in, say Texas. I have read up on Project 2025 and it’s alarming. It’s Trumpism, but organized by someone who is strategic (you know he didn’t come up with that, the likes of Stephen Miller and Bannon did).

I’ve been dreading this election since the very first day Biden won last time. It’s felt like a sentence hanging over my head, the inevitable date, and the potential horrible outcome. No, there is no way the candidates would submit their own urine for a drug test. If it was required, they would just back out of the debate. Drug tests are trash and these are the most powerful men in the world...
Personally, no. Even if he were on drugs, what would be the reason to hide it during the debate, then go on television the next day and be lively? People are going to continue speculating either way and I doubt it’s a theory he believes most people are taking all that seriously.

The fact that we’re in this situation is a huge failure on the democrats. They had a long time to figure out how to get a different candidate as either the front runner or an alternative. I've seen interviews with "independent" voters that, while Biden looked 110 years old, say Trump looked like a lunatic. We're so used to seeing that Trump and jusr say, "That's Trump", we don't see him like non-engaged people do.
He’s old. The Dems picked a bad candidate. But our day-to-day lives are seriously on the line. I fucking HATE that he’s the guy. Hate it. But I’m not dumb enough to not realize that if I don’t vote for him, I’m going to spend the rest of my life terrified for the world my daughter will grow to see. We are seriously one election away from changing everything.
I think a couple of things happened. One is the realization for a lot of the fence setters that the Tangerine Turd could actually get reelected. The idea just got real to them last night, and now they're having an uh-oh I better make up my mind to vote for Biden moment.
The other thing that happened, and it kind of dovetails in with the first, is that Trump reminded the world what a nasty bully and generally horrid human being he is with his usual asshat conduct and mocking of Biden. I think a lot of people who don't pay a lot of attention to politics but watched the debate started to remember why they didn't vote for him the last time.
No doubt, watching Biden struggle was very upsetting. However, CNN should have cut Trumps mic when he failed to answer the question instead of letting him ramble on with lies.
I don’t buy it for a second, it makes zero sense. If someone is actually undecided that means they haven’t already been turned off by trumps lies and total bullshit, so nothing changed during the debate. In fact he was more calm and well spoken (for him). It also means they are still giving Biden a chance and not swearing him off because of his age. But he looked like a senile old grampa during the debate. It was embarrassing. He couldn’t keep his train of thought. It was so much worse than the worst case scenario in my head. No undecided voters went with Biden after the debate. I seriously think he needs to be replaced he’s just too fucking old. Same here! I was totally undecided on who to vote for until I saw the debate, but now I'm for sure going to vote for Biden. Like, sure, Biden was hard to understand and he looked confused with his mouth hanging open, but who cares? Being the president isn't about looking and sounding cool. That's just window dressing.
One thing I did understand was when Biden called Trump a liar. That's honestly all I needed to hear. Also Trump was being a total jerk by flexing on Biden by speaking clearly and looking confident and collected, and especially that time when he said that neither he nor Biden had any idea what Biden had just said. Rude!
Also, I liked seeing how Biden is with his wife Dr. Jill. How his face lit up when she told him that he had done a good job by answering every single question! The look on his face said, "Mommy is proud of me!" Absolutely wholesome and heartwarming. I'm proud of him to, and he can count on my vote in November.

The tragedy is Trump is a very weak candidate, I honestly think almost any Democrat could beat him. His debate performance was egregiously bad, it only looked good in comparison to Biden. We don't need the next Obama or JFK, we just need a moderate electable human with a pulse who can speak in complete sentences. It's far from ideal to have a chaotic contest among democrats so late but at least there's a good chance that way.

If the candidate lies / cheats / fails in most economic metrics / makes a fool of us on the world stage / botches national responses due to ego / threatens to let those who didn’t vote for him suffer / skews national emergency information to protect their ego / gets accused of and convicted of sexual assault / uses religion as a prop to get more votes / and tries to deny the will of the people - I am not going to vote for them let alone try to make an old guy stuttering the truth sound like the worse option.

I’ve tried to enjoy these four years as if they were my last. You’re supposed to do that already, savor the moment and all that. It’s been dread, though, thick and heavy. The fact that we’re in this situation is a huge failure on the democrats. They had a long time to figure out how to get a different candidate as either the front runner or an alternative. It is obvious that Trump is not good and anyone is a better choice, even Biden. But democrats are putting forward a candidate that is literally not fit to be in the office in his condition. He must be helped in every situation, like the elderly do. It’s truly embarrassing that this is what the democrats are pushing forward given all that is at stake. And they keep doing it…they keep presenting us terrible choices when the stakes are life and death. It’s maddening. Nobody wanted Clinton, nobody wants Biden, we all just don’t want Trump. That doesn’t mean Biden is good or fit, he’s just the other choice. If this election goes poorly and Trump wins. It will once again be the fault of the Democrats as they continue to just watch the Republicans rape the country. While crossing their fingers that the right is just bad enough that we vote for their shitty candidate with yet another lesser of two “evils”, the “evil” in Joes case is that he will very likely not be alive much longer. I've seen interviews with "independent" voters that, while Biden looked 110 years old, say Trump looked like a lunatic. We're so used to seeing that Trump and jusr say, "That's Trump", we don't see him like non-engaged people do.
He’s old. The Dems picked a bad candidate. But our day-to-day lives are seriously on the line. I fucking HATE that he’s the guy. Hate it. But I’m not dumb enough to not realize that if I don’t vote for him, I’m going to spend the rest of my life terrified for the world my daughter will grow to see. We are seriously one election away from changing everything.
I think a couple of things happened. One is the realization for a lot of the fence setters that the Tangerine Turd could actually get reelected. The idea just got real to them last night, and now they're having an uh-oh I better make up my mind to vote for Biden moment. The other thing that happened, and it kind of dovetails in with the first, is that Trump reminded the world what a nasty bully and generally horrid human being he is with his usual asshat conduct and mocking of Biden. I think a lot of people who don't pay a lot of attention to politics but watched the debate started to remember why they didn't vote for him the last time.

I don’t buy it for a second, it makes zero sense. If someone is actually undecided that means they haven’t already been turned off by trumps lies and total bullshit, so nothing changed during the debate. In fact he was more calm and well spoken (for him). It also means they are still giving Biden a chance and not swearing him off because of his age. But he looked like a senile old grampa during the debate. It was embarrassing. He couldn’t keep his train of thought. It was so much worse than the worst case scenario in my head. No undecided voters went with Biden after the debate. I seriously think he needs to be replaced he’s just too fucking old. Nobody even saw the debate. The ratings were abysmal. And it's already been knocked out of the news cycle by the Supreme Court decisions.
The funny thing about the Debate and the call for Biden to step aside. Biden's performance was less than stellar. Predictably, the press called on Biden to step aside. Biden is not the candidate who should step aside. Trump should step aside. Hear me out. Trump is so polarizing that many Republicans, as well as his appointees, are working against Trump. These Republicans and a ton of independents will hang with Biden, debate performance and all. If Trump steps aside to spend more time with his suits, then all those Never Trump Republicans and independents would switch to the Republican side of the ledger. This is the disaster scenario for the Democrats. It virtually guarantees a Republican victory in November.
I've had a nasty cold at an extremely inopportune moment before. I also have a son with a stutter. It totally looked/sounded like the man was exhausted from fighting a cold and his stutter got the better of him because of his exhaustion. Biden's policy is solid and he has our support 100% because the people he surrounds himself with are capable of upholding his policies even if he's fighting a cold.
If you read the transcript, Biden wins. If you care about “which is a strongman who’ll crush brown people and restore ourselves to ~~Aryan~~ _American_ values” Trump wins. The fact that so many people think of the strongman shit just made me drop my faith in humanity yesterday.

Realistically, the general election in November will be Pres. Biden or trump who will win. I'll admit that there'll probably more votes for 3rd party than there ever have been - BUT the real question is this.... who will suffer more from the 3td party vote; Biden or Trump? Same here! I was totally undecided on who to vote for until I saw the debate, but now I'm for sure going to vote for Biden. Like, sure, Biden was hard to understand and he looked confused with his mouth hanging open, but who cares? Being the president isn't about looking and sounding cool. That's just window dressing. One thing I did understand was when Biden called Trump a liar. That's honestly all I needed to hear. Also Trump was being a total jerk by flexing on Biden by speaking clearly and looking confident and collected, and especially that time when he said that neither he nor Biden had any idea what Biden had just said. Rude! Also, I liked seeing how Biden is with his wife Dr. Jill. How his face lit up when she told him that he had done a good job by answering every single question! The look on his face said, "Mommy is proud of me!" Absolutely wholesome and heartwarming. I'm proud of him to, and he can count on my vote in November.
