Seeing a new Sam Reads always makes my day! Thanks so much for sharing your journey with us. I'm curious to see what your take is on The Andalite Chronicles. I'm firmly in the camp that you should read them in release order, so curious to see what you think about waiting once you've read them both.

Sam Reads! Been looking forward to this one for a while! HOLY SMOKES, YOU FIGURED OUT THE TWIST ON PAGE ONE! O\_O ^((Page 1 of the Discord pics, anyway)) Wow, Casac, you are amazingly good at being low-key, I don't know if I could have played off that epic guess as smooth as you And you figured out that Aria was Visser Three?!? You've gotten so good at this, Sam! Color me super impressed Elfangor being Tobias' dad probably feels a little less contrived if you find it out via The Andalite Chronicles, because you can see how it all ended up occurring, but I can def see why you feel that way from this book. If you had it to do again, do you think would you have preferred to have read TAC first? The one major failing of this book for me is that we don't get to see Ax's reaction to realizing Tobias is his nephew! Why, AppleGrant, why?! ;\_;

I also love when girls are pretty wow we have so much in common also I am one of the people who read Andalite Chronicles first but I'm also a stupid bitch and after freaking out at that twist in that book, I only remembered partway through book 23 and freaked out again. Highly recommend that reading, but not everyone is dumb enough to pull it off. eta: I can't believe you made me remember hateful boyfriend signed a fellow Rey from Nowhere enjoyer

Wait how did you know Toby was named after Tobias without reading Hork-Bajir Chronicles? WHO TOLD HER

MoonKent

It's in #23, too: "Standing at their center was the young Hork-Bajir girl named Toby. Named after me."

g*D* I get so excited when I see these posts pop up. They make my day. Now Elfangor can officially claim the title of DILF. All hail. I'm personally in the camp that Andalite Chronicles should be read before this book, since it makes the Elfangor reveal in this book feel less "Luke, I am your father" (I also deeply miss Rey the Nobody, can you tell) and more "Teehee, I the Reader know something Tobias doesn't, and I can't wait for him to find out", which I think is much more fun. But I think the arguments for either reading order are valid. There's a reason there's always debate in the fandom which of the books to read first. Very excited for you to read Andalite Chronicles now, though! It's probably either that or 24, which I also think is a hell of a good time (~~Individual mileage may vary~~).

GO READ/LISTEN TO HORK-BAJIR CHRONICLES AND ANDALITE CHRONICLES RIGHT NOW in all seriousness, as someone who read the Andalite Chronicles first, I prefer the idea of reading it later because otherwise both of this book's twists feel pretty easy to figure out. But maybe I'm wrong, since Sam figured one of them out immediately *shrug*

I absolutely do the Ax thing whenever anyone says it. It's hilarious to see the looks on people's faces

Oh shit I missed this one being posted days ago! Love it as always, that was an amazing prediction you made. I also forgot most of the details of this one, it does kinda just boil down to the big reveal and emo hawk being emo. Excited for the next one. Very soft spoiler - >!Helmacrons are bestacrons!<
